Very nice accommodations with a great view. Also, the lanai was shady all day. Great place to stay.
Nice apartment, good view
This studio is beautifully decorated and well-appointed with comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and appliances. The walk-in closet was a delight with enough clothes hangers to stay for a month! Unfortunately, we could not connect to the internet during the final 2 days of our stay. Also, our key cards stopped working the day before we left and we had to go to the front desk to get them re-programmed.
Check in easy with the front desk. Kitchen is fine but we like to have a non stick pan which they didn’t have. So we went to target and bought one. Left it for people to use. That was just our preference. But other than that we had ice packets and Tupperware etc. plenty of kitchen stuff. Also would be nice to have some plastic glasses for using on patio. But overall good. Bed so comfortable and plenty of linens. Nice that beach chairs are provided too. We’ve stayed twice at the condo and would stay again. Love the view and location.

This was our 4th time at the Whaler and first time in this condo. The views from the condo were amazing. We could see the ocean on the other side of Black Rock, the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening, and lights across the hillside at night. The unit was nicely decorated in a tasteful Hawaiian style and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils needed including BBQ tools, coffee maker, and dish soap and sponge and dishwasher pods. We could have used extra bath towels (as we only had 3 and only 1 to spare while doing laundry) and the unit could use fresh paint in the bathroom and new (or fixed) doors and hardware to the bathroom and tub area.....however, we loved our stay and loved being right on Kaanapali Beach.
Lovely studio condo over looking Black Rock beach. Very clean, quaint, quiet, great manicure of landscaping, very accessible to local shops & restaurants and beach steps from the property. The lanai had a good view of the beach. And appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Marianne was very responsive to any questions we had and very nice to work with.
This is my second year in a row staying in this unit at the Whaler. It's clean and well appointed with an updated kitchen. King bed and couch area for relaxing. It has everything you need to start your mornings and has a great view of Black Rock. The studios are perfect for 2 people. The Whaler property itself is central to anything you need do on Kaanapali (recreation, food, bars, golf, shopping). I will definitely be back.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great view of Black Rock. Only thing is we wish it had a screen on the patio door.
We had a fabulous time at this property. It was clean, as advertised and in a wonderful convenient location, close to restaurants and beach. The view was the icing on the cake.
Most everything we needed was in the unit and everything else was just steps out the door.The property manager Karen was very helpful.

Another amazing trip to Maui. I’ve stayed in this unit many times and it’s perfect for what I’m looking for. It’s on the best beach in Maui, has a great view from the Lanai, and is reasonably priced.
Thoroughly enjoyed this property! Close proximity to restaurants, shopping, excursions and anything else we wanted to do during our trip. We managed to play our usual pickle ball on the property too. Fun trip. Excellent accommodations.
Great Location and view. Condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Having a kitchen allowed us to eat some meals in rather than going out to the restaurants all the time.
This property was just s we expected. A studio condo was perfect for the two of us. The staff at the property were very friendly and always helpful and smiling .The property is centrally located on kannapali beach with easy access to all the restaurants and the beach. We will definitely consider the property again
We were celebrating our honeymoon. The place was wonderful! It was super clean and well maintained! It came with Chairs and umbrella that were nice for the beach. We would stay here again!
The Whaler on Kaanapali is our favorite place to stay in Maui. The unit was perfect for our two week stay. The view is gorgeous, the unit was stocked with everything we needed and more. Marianne was incredible to rent from. We would absolutely stay here again.
We have stayed at the Whaler condos for several years and #814 was by far the nicest studio yet! It was recently updated, clean, nicely appointed and great view of Black Rock! Would definitely stay there again!
We're return visitors to this oasis. Whaler complex is top notch as far as location and pristine condition goes, and Marianne's unit is one of the best. Quiet, clean, nicely furnished make this an ideal get away spot. Will return next year

Our recent 14-night stay at The Whaler in Kaanapali was exceptional. The booking and check-in process were seamless, and communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The 8th floor condo was very well-maintained, and the onsite staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect Maui getaway.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The location was great and the beach was a 1 minute walk. It is even better than the pictures show! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this unit in the Whaler. The property is our go to when visiting Maui. The condo was well appointed with a good bed and kitchen. You have a great view of Black Rock from the lanai. The unit was comfortable with a nice couch as well. The Whaler is perfectly situated along Ka’anapali beach and within close proximity to everything you would need. After the fires we were unsure of how Maui would be, but West Maui is open. Aside from not being able to go into Lahaina - your vacation will not be interrupted. Just be sure to visit respectfully and responsibly.
The unit is well equipped and has a gorgeous view. The bed is very comfortable as well. The tv system is a little hard to use but once you figure it out, it works. Will stay again!
Our "short term Home" was perfect in every way! Our Unit was fully complemented with EVERYTHING one might need. Our view was incredible, from the early morning to sunset.
We were centrally located for so very many restaurants and activities and SHOPPING!
We were minutes away from The Gazebo for Breakfast and BadAss Coffee (they have incredible flavors in decaf too!)
We took a few excursions to the North side and the West side; and each time (despite some traffic) our rides were pleasurable.
We cannot recommend Marianne's Kaanapali Hale enough!!!

Excellent location and lovely studio unit with a full kitchen and spectacular view! Loved the beachfront pathway that was close to Whaler's Village and great restaurants. Was impressed by the walk-in closet. Owner was wonderful and easy to contact. Would highly recommend this unit!
