Beautiful view. Gorgeous condo with everything you could want- kitchen, towels, some beach toys/chairs/etc. Lovely and responsive host.

We have been to Maui a good number of times, and I don't think you can find a better spot. The Condo is very nice, has everything you would ever need, and is in a perfect location. The property itself matches the condo. Very nice, everything you would ever need (pools, beach/pool pavilion, one of the best beaches), all right there in a perfect location. The condo comes with every beach/pool gear you would need. The owner is responsive and very open, and friendly. Would stay here again and again. Look forward to coming back. We traveled the island, we stayed and had beach days with Sunsets, just everything was perfect for our trip. Cant wait for a redo. Thank for you helping make my wife's Birthday trip one she will never forget.
We have stayed 5 years in a row at Ekahi Village. The grounds and pools are amazing. This was our first time in this unit. We found it needed a good deep cleaning, appliances were dirty, and we had some cockroach problems we’ve never had before on any of our tropical stays. (We realize bugs are a part of life.). We also found the property manager delayed getting us a refund when we had to change our dates.
The deck was awesome. Kitchen was great. Master mattress was very soft. My wife and I both departed with back stiffness and pain.
We arrived very late,in the dark. No light and a confusion of two lock boxes.
Had a great couple of weeks in 51B. Location was perfect, condo is newly updated and I will definitely look to book here again in the future.

Enjoyed our week in this condo. It is the largest 1bedroom we have stayed in at Ekahi. Loved the oversized lanai overlooking the ravine - nice private space to do morning yoga.
Condo was well stocked with almost everything we needed. A few plastic wine glasses could be added to the kitchen collection. We appreciated the books and games that were provided.
Owner and property manager were both accessible and helpful.
We have stayed at Ekahi many times. The pool pavilion and beach can’t be beat!
The Ekahi complex is lovely with beautiful gardens and nice pools. The easy access to the beach is a huge plus of staying here. This unit had a pleasant view of the gardens.
The unit was well equipped with almost everything you could need in the kitchen, but it does need a few repairs and some maintenance work done. As most reviews mention it is a little dark and the under cabinet lights don’t work.
Our biggest complaint was due to the dishwasher. The closing mechanism broke on day 6 of our 9 day stay so I phoned the property manager as instructed. She didn’t call me back so I called her again the next day and she said she would send a handyman over to have a look. That day the handyman came by, took a look at the dishwasher and then left.
We never heard anything back from either the property manager or the handyman so after another 2 days I messaged the owner here was her response:
"the plumber has ordered a part but that part won't arrive to the island for a week. is there enough dish soap for washing? If you run out please let me know and I will hire the cleaner to deliver more."
I think she should have sent the cleaner over to do the dishes. It still wasn’t repaired when we left on day 9.
I would stay at the Ekahi again, but I don’t think I would book this particular unit.

Visited with my wife and teenager. We all loved it. We followed up our stay with a couple days at an expensive resort and everyone liked the condo better. Tips: (1) check out the beach equipment sooner rather than later. There's lots of great stuff in there. (2) If you're looking for bigger waves, we liked Chang's Beach, a 10 min drive south (sadly, no showers there) or Big Beach - though the waves there can be TOO big. Loved our stay and would absolutely recommend!
We loved our stay at Ekahi 51B. Perfect location, well equipped, excellent host who accommodated our asks and followed up. We loved our trip and this space!
The condo is located near the turnoff to go into the property. It has a partial ocean view, and it's about a five-minute walk to the large pool and amenities near the beach. The property in general is kept up well, and the pool area is well maintained and has lots of lounge and table seating, and some umbrellas. We enjoyed sitting by the pool when not on the beach.
The condo itself was well equipped. The kitchen had just about anything you would need, and the owners had a nice supply of beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. The condo has a nice deck and covered lanai area. As some reviewers have mentioned, the condo is a bit dark partially because of the dark walls and dark cabinets and granite in the kitchen. We thought the previous reviews were a bit inflated, because the some of the furniture and decor could use refurbishing. Although we probably would not choose this condo in the future, we did have a nice stay. This was at least our sixth stay in Wailea, and our first stay at Ekahi.
