We love this spot! The location is PERFECT and private, the house is cozy and clean, and Jeff & Kimberly are incredibly easy to communicate with. Will always stay here when we visit Kauai!
Jeff & Kimberly’s home was unlike any VRBO we’ve stayed in. The home was immaculate, location unbeatable, quiet neighborhood, and easy communication with the 2 of them. It was ann easy stay with our 2 young kids. The extra amenities provided in the home made the stay extra comfortable and easy. This was one of our favorite homes we’ve ever stayed in!
This unit has a perfect location. Unobstructed view, steps to the ocean, walking distance to restaurants. It needs some updating. When we stayed in February 2023 it was not very clean. Reviews all gave it 5 stars for cleanliness. Paul's Place in Princeville where we stayed prior to Turtle was a 5 star. I am not sure how this unit got the same credentials
First impression: outdoor stairs were covered with bird poop and dead bugs.
The master bedroom has a view. The other looks on the parking lot. Beds are very comfortable The decor is dated. Tub is stained, shower door in master coated with soap film, toothpaste spatters on the cabinets.
The stairs to the main floor are carpeted. At the foot of the stairs along the molding were piles of dead insects. (Not roaches). The banister was sticky. There was a plastic highchair in the living area.
There is a sun screen for the ocean facing window. It was open when we arrived and the room was very hot. The A/C is not effective under these circumstances. Close the sun shade in the AM before leaving to keep it cool.
The kitchen is well appointed and everything works well. We found dirty knives in the knife holder, fridge door was grubby.
The upstairs windows had lots of finger and nose prints present.
We contacted the owners who were very responsive. A woman came and cleaned after 2 days. We were refunded our cleaning fee and got a restaurant gift certificate.
We would prefer honest reviews and a clean space.
Sunsets, view of the ocean and proximity to the beach and swimming pool are amazing!! Great property.

Loved this property!!! The location can't be beat and the views are spectacular. We spent the majority of our time on the upstairs lanai. The layout was perfect for two couples. Jeff & Kimberly were amazing hosts - very proactive and responsive to any questions we had before and during our trip. As there is only one true master bedroom, we did a mid-week switch and they recommended a mid-week cleaning which we took advantage of and very much appreciated! The cleaning lady was great and even left us a giant avocado from her garden to enjoy - which was amazing!!!! We're already trying to figure out when we can come back!!!
Jeff and Kimberly were great hosts, very easy to communicate with, answered all of my questions promptly. The condo was great, with an ocean view and plenty of space for our family of four. We walked to the beach. We played tennis on the property. We swam at the pool. We ate dinner on the balcony looking at the ocean. We slept to the sound of waves breaking. Great vacation, great location. Easy walk or drive to the Starbucks was a plus!

Jeff & Kimberly were wonderful and hospitable hosts! We really appreciated their excellent communication leading up to our trip and during our stay. They also provided a full list of recommendations that were very helpful. The condo is awesome! It has an awesome main living room, with full length windows and a patio to enjoy the stunning beach views! It is in an extremely convenient location, immediately adjacent to the pool and in walking distance to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. Thank you, Jeff & Kimberly! We hope to return soon!
My family and I loved our trip to Kauai! Our stay was amazing and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The location was great and walkable to the nicest beaches on the south shore. The property managers were awesome with recommendations and always responded promptly. We hope to visit again :)
We stayed here during Winter Break in Feb 2023. The location was great. Weather was rainy while we were there and this location allowed us to make the best of the weather. Even when staying inside, the view was fantastic. When the weather cleared, it was a quick walk down to the beach. We could see the closest pool from the condo, so we could also see when chairs/tables were available, and we could easily pop down. The condo had everything we needed (including coffee grinder and necessities). Plenty of towels for beach, showers, cleaning off at the door, etc. Chairs and umbrellas too. 2.5 bathrooms helps make it very comfortable for everyone. There is also a business to rent snorkel gear right on the walk to the beach (and great snorkeling right there). Sea turtles were resting on the beach throughout our entire visit (more overnight, but also a few during the day). A few seals as well.
Only issues we had were minor and were from the complex, not the owners. (only one working BBQ that was being used, we ended up using the oven instead). Close pool was unexpectedly locked for a day, but another pool was available.
The owners are very responsive and answered questions right away. We would happily return here on a future visit to Poipu.
