My mom and I had an amazing experience here for our girls trip. The house exceeded our expectations and was exactly as advertised. The beach was steps away and we had a great view of the waves and surfers. At night it was calm and peaceful. There is a cute little bakery that is a 6 min walk where you can get food as well and the grocery store is on the way from the airport. The communication from the host Bobbi and Chuck the caretaker was excellent. They even went above and beyond to locate an item I forgot and will mail it to me and I am very thankful for their help. The beds were very comfortable, as were the indoor and outdoor furniture. This was one of the best-stocked vacation rentals I have been to and it really felt like staying at a friend’s house because it was so cozy and welcoming.
20 feet from back porch to beach. The house met our expectations, but the driveway is tight. Caretaker Chuck was invaluable with answering our questions and providing insights to the island. Sunsets were spectacular and just being on the Pacific Ocean was a treat for this family familiar with Atlantic Ocean-Florida sunrises. We liked the relatively close proximity to Honolulu/Pearl Harbor and the Base. Navigating the island is not difficult. Groceries are close by as well as local food venues. Go Hawai’i, Go big!
Very nice house right on the beach everything we needed was nearby. We enjoyed the sunset every evening and seen a couple of spotted eagle rays. Would like to book this house again next summer.
This house on Sunset Beach is one of the most beautiful places in the world for us. After our second stay there, we know for sure that we will be back.Special thanks go to Chuck, who helped us during the evacuation due to the tsunami.

When you’re a child and you dream about going to Hawaii, you always think of staying at a beach house like this. We had a wonderful time with our family and made fantastic memories with our children that will last a lifetime.
Simply put this property is amazing. All the other reviews are accurate and if anything, underrepresents how fantastic this property is. So much so, I actually recorded a video and will share the link with the owner. The pictures do not do this property justice nor do the reviews. The patio furniture has been upgraded and is more luxurious than the pictures show. There are ample soft towels enough that you can take to the beach and also use for showering. I don’t recall there being a description in the posting about a heated outdoor shower, but there is one on the side of the house along with ocean toys, chairs, and other beach amenities that are available for you to use. The caretaker is incredibly warm and inviting. We felt safe and well cared for at all times. The location is absolutely perfect. You’re a short walk away from Ted’s bakery. It was amazing to walk to Ted’s every morning and eat breakfast on your lanai and watch the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. We have family on Oahu and this location is perfect perfectly away from the busyness of the North Shore, but close enough to where we could get to a lot of really fun activities like sharks Cove. This house is literally right on Sunset Beach. We did not want to leave and I know we will be back. I will put together the video of our experience and hopefully can share that as truly the pictures do not do this property justice.
We are a local Hawaii family that wanted and escape from our busy work lives. We spent a few days at this house on the beach to unwind and celebrate a special birthday. The back porch is an excellent spot to eat meals and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The ocean is simply steps away from the house. What an awesome experience! I wish we could live here daily...

What a perfect place for our family! We loved relaxing in the backyard. The views are breathtaking and the landscape is beautiful. Having the beach in our backyard made it so easy to take the kids multiple times a day. Great location to get to everything in the North Shore! If you’re thinking of booking this place, do it!

This place was wonderful, the only reason we rated it a 4 and not a 5 was that the air conditioner was broken when we arrived and the back bedroom got really warm and security lights kept going off. Great food trucks close by.
Our family has just returned from this incredible beachfront place. Everything was wonderful. We had an excellent time and appreciated how clean the place was, how easy it was to find and to enjoy, and how kind the property manager is/was. Thank you for such a relaxing, serene stay right on the beach!
Oh my oh my, this was incredible! If you’re thinking of booking, just do it. You have basically a private beach to yourself, and you can watch whales and the stars through the spyglass on the back porch. The house itself has gorgeous painting all through out. Chuck, the caretaker, is amazing! He was able to give us great recommendations while also just being awesome. We will be back and if you’re thinking of staying here’s I highly recommend. The kitchen had everything you need, there was laundry, it was clean, and you’re between turtle bay and the town area of Haleiwa so you have options for dinner if you don’t want to cook. 10/10, we will be back
Location was fantastic. Loved watching the surfers every morning from the back porch. One mile walk to Ehukai beach and was able to see the WSL Pipe Pro. I feel the pictures do not do this place justice. It was very clean with great amenities. It was on the expensive side - at least for us - but ended up being well worth the money. Chuck is awesome. I would stay here again.

This property deserves a 5-star rating and with just a few minor touches it would be totally worthy. Location - AMAZING!! literally steps to your own beachfront and only a short 1 mile walk to Sunset Beach park/surf area. Easy to view surfers and whales (in season). Zen out to the sound of waves day and night. Cute, kitschy property is decorated somewhere between a surf shack and a Balinese property, this place has almost everything you need. There are a few reasons it misses the mark on 5 stars. Zero closets. Wanna hang something, no bueno. i can forgive that in a place where swimsuits and t-shirts are the norm. No welcome book to give you any directions around the place, which wasn't overly distressing until we wanted to watch the NFC/AFC Championship games. TV/Cable didn't work and we couldn't find any instructions. Again, we don't generally watch TV when we come to HI, but when we do it's nice to know it's easy to access. My biggest complaint is lack of beach chairs... 40 at Costco!! At a certain age, sitting in a beach chair vs sitting on the sand is preferred. And beach chairs would have gotten an intense workout had they been available. Special mention goes to Chuck the property manager who lives next door -- incredibly nice, easy to chat with and super helpful. Overall, a fabulous place to land.

This stay was the highlight of our trip. The sounds of the waves were amazing. The location was absolutely stunning. I hope to come back one day.

Our stay was amazing. The location is perfect for relaxing on the lanai or sightseeing at the nearby attractions. Very comfortable, clean and has the best view of the beach! Watched the surfers and even caught glimpses of very active whale! The very friendly, helpful caretaker was a bonus! Will stay here again!
Beautiful property. Well-kept, clean with all amenities provided. Right on the beach, where the sand and ocean were only a few feet away. The only downside of location is that there are very few restaurants nearby (food trucks were close by, but hit and miss in terms of quality of food), so it would be wise to stock up to cook simple meals yourself. Chuck, the property manager, stays onsite and is very responsive to all questions and requests. And if you're lucky, you'll meet Baby, the resident duck. ;)
the view was amazing! home inside and out had no expense spared. it was comfortable, felt like home and was the perfect setting for our Hawaiian experience. the beach had some pretty major waves well over 50 ft making it every surfers paradise. your are feet from the ocean. it rained one entire evening and the covered patio was a nice place to relax and watch the waves roar in. I took a nap on the comfortable patio while my daughter and husband played cards. you cant go wrong staying here. It may be the first time in my life I truly enjoyed a rainy evening on vacation. The kitchen was well equipped for making steaks, seafood. and opening a nice bottle of wine. Bedding was comfortable and was freshly laundered on arrival. The caretaker, Chuck was helpful and shared stories of his past cliff jumping days. A sweet lil duck welcomes you on arrival and waits patiently outside for bread or his favorite treat a donut hole from Teds! Great experience, lovely home!

We loved this location, able to walk to a nearby restaurant and smoothie shop. The views from the porch are amazing and Sunset Beach are stunning even with huge waves.
