This was our first visit to Maui. We loved this condo. You can't beat the view and only steps from the beach. We definitely recommend this property and hope to return sometime in the not too distant future.
Beautiful property and condo…the location was great and we enjoyed the quieter area of the island and the beautiful beach. Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were great to work with and allowed us a later check out since our flight was in the evening.

Condo was very nice and was within a few miles of several nice restaurants. Pool was very clean and well maintained. Beach was great for walking but not so much for swimming or snorkeling. Also do to it’s location it gets very windy everyday from noon to late afternoon.
Overall, our stay was fine but we were slightly disappointed. The condo was smaller than expected and carpeted (which we knew from the listing). The shower was small and there appeared to be mold on the cover to the ceiling vent in the shower. The window that stayed open in the bathroom was covered with bird droppings. The location was good and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and we appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit. The listing stated one could see both sunrise and sunset but we couldn’t actually see either one completely. Unfortunately the smoke alarm for the entire property went off at 4:30 am and even though the fire department came rather quickly, the alarm did not get turned off for over an hour. Certainly not the fault of the condo’s owner, but disappointing that the condo’s facilities person took so long to disable it.
We stayed for a week and wish we didn't have to come home. I'm convinced that Sugar Beach Resort in Kihei is the best and most centrally located place to vacation on Maui. Even newer resorts don't have the beachfront access and views as this resort. I think we spent most of our time either in the pool or relaxing on our balcony. The king size bed was comfortable, the kitchen was more than adequate, but the bathroom was a little tight. As mentioned before, the location can't be beat. It's fifteen minutes from the airport, around forty-five minutes to Kapalua, an hour to the top of Haleakala, and two hours to Hana. We'd love to stay here again if we return to Maui.
Location is excellent. Sugar Beach is a lovely walking and swimming beach. Great for sunsets. Our unit was clean and comfortable.
This condo was wonderful!! It was clean and had all the amenities. You could tell it was well cared for. Sofa tended to make you want to nap because it was so comfy :)Sitting on the lanai in the morning with coffee was the perfect start of the day. The canoe club rowing by, the boats out in the water. So peaceful! Oh and the sunsets from that same lanai! Spectacular! The resort had a great pool area and hot tub. It also has a fun sandwich shop/bar. Good vibes!!Bill, the owner, was great at communicating. All questions were answered quickly and that was so appreciated. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. You won't be disappointed!
We enjoyed this condo very much. It was clean, well organized, stocked with everything you need. The view was awesome.
We had such a lovely stay in this condo. The place was so comfortable, clean, spacious, and calm...we felt so at HOME. Having the extra window in an end unit gave the living space some wonderful extra sunlight, and we enjoyed having both Haleakala and ocean views. Some mentioned it's distance from the elevator, which is true but not a problem for us. The bed and pillows were comfortable, water pressure good, kitchen fully stocked and so clean. Also some extra toiletries under the bathroom sink, like sunscreen, aloe, etc. There were 2 beach chairs, boogie boards, a small cooler, etc. in the closet to use. PLEASE consider walking down the beach to the nearby farmer's market, bakery, and shave ice shops. It's 5-10 minutes depending on your speed and we regret not doing this EVERY day! The farmer's market had fruit, smoothies, chips/guac, gifts, pesto and noodles, and so much more to have healthy meals and snacks at home, or some nice treats. Having the long beach to walk down (both to the north and south) was luxurious, and watching the sunset each night from your porch or on the lounge chairs down by the beach is a must. The other guests we interacted with in the hot tub were lovely. It's a quiet, friendly, respectful place in general, with a good central location on Maui that places you in between Hana, Haleakala, Lahaina boat docks, Kaanapali, etc. for those, like us, that went a lot of places to see various things. We would love to return again.
We have stayed at Sugar Beach Resort before, but this unit exceeded all expectations. Who knew one window could completely change an experience!? Being able to watch sunrises and sunsets without ever leaving the condo was absolutely surreal, as was falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean, no matter what room you were in. The spices and personal hygiene items were plentiful and very helpful. There is a hair dryer and straightener under the sink, no need to lug heavy hair tools in your luggage. If you want to completely disconnect from technology, there is an alarm clock in a drawer by the bed, so turn off your cell phone, no excuses! There are two boogie boards, two beach chairs, and two coolers in the bedroom closet, they're in excellent condition! There are plenty of drawers and closet space for clothes and personal items. The dimmable lighting was a very nice bonus as we were able to customize it to our tired eyes after long days in the saltwater and sunshine. The television menus were easy to navigate. The unit felt safe, was adequately cleaned, and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. I'm definitely keeping this property in my favorites, I hope we can return soon!
Had an awesome time. Didn't spend much time at the condo or the beach out back but the location was great. This was an ideal location for getting around the island. Could hear the waves at night from the bedroom and great view of Haleakala from the family room window. Host is great and we were able to add an additional day when the airline offered a small credit to rebook.
We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary trip here. The condo is beautiful and well appointed with everything we needed. The views are breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful little getaway!

Great accommodations, loved the extras such as the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler - very helpful. Great helpful information provided in the welcome letter. Nice touch of wine and a note upon arrival.
This is a great place if you're looking for a beach side rental. It's a good size for a couple and the location is convenient to everything. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset from the lanai. And what a treat to have the ocean literally out the backdoor.
The location was perfect. Unit was clean and well stocked. The best part was watching the sunset right from the balcony. Absolutely beautiful.
Direct oceanfront, quiet and not busy at all.

Maui never disappoints! Our condo was immaculate. We slept like logs and hard a hard time leaving that view. Can't wait to go again!
I prefer this location - away from the hubbub of Kihei but close enough to get to a restaurant in just a few minutes. the unit was clean, ready on time, well stocked and comfortable. Fantastic views and a few steps away from a lovely and uncrowded beach, good for a swim.
We thoroughly enjoyed the lanai—we always looked forward to coming back when were out exploring. Though a little windier in this part of the island, we were grateful for the breeze with June heat. The condo is adequately stocked with everything needed, and plenty of comfortable space for two people. Thank you for making your place available for others to enjoy.

Great location. Great views, right on the beach. We are location first people and this has a great one. Right on the beach. The condo inside is comfortable, but could use a little updating. But was as expected for the price range. Pool was nice and jacuzzi was great that it had one..many in the area don’t. Central located to plenty of grocery stores and super close to the harbor. Would definitely stay here again. Mahalo.
This was our 5th trip to Hawaii and 3rd to Maui. We loved the condo. Clean, great view and a great location that is quiet but still close to everything you want. Wonderful beach right down stairs. Was happy to find beach chairs in the closet. Thank you!
