Overall our stay was nice. The location is great for the beaches and nearby shopping etc etc. The only issue that wasn’t completely clear was the cooling of the condo. The listing does indicate there is AC. However, the unit is located in the bedroom, and only sufficient for cooling the bedroom, if the windows and doors are kept shut. It cannot cool the entire condo. The cross-breeze through the condo was great most of the time, but if you are someone who prefers to have a cool place to relax, you may want to book something with central AC if at all possible. Otherwise the condo stays quite warm, even into the evening, despite having all windows/doors open to allow for the breeze. That being said, I realize very few places have central AC, but it is something that seemed fair to let people know so they are not taken off guardOtherwise, it is furnished comfortably, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice having such a close drive to the beaches and old Kōloa town. Also, the unit has all the beach chairs, umbrellas and even snorkeling gear you could possibly need for a nice Hawaiian vacation. Overall we had a positive stay
We love staying here when we come to Kauai. The condo is clean and the management team is so friendly and responsive. It’s great having a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and reserved parking spot. The view from the patio is so beautiful. We had breakfast out in the patio every morning. We will be coming back next year! Thank you!
We have stayed in many different units at this condo, and this is by far the best appointed. Everything you could ask for in terms of amenities and supplies, with an overabundance of beach stuff, including extra chairs umbrellas and tons of snorkeling gear . Great communication from managing aging, who took the trouble to check in the day after we arrived to make sure everything was okay. This unit also has an air conditioner, which is rare in this building. We didn't need to use it, but during the summer months it's a great thing to have. Wonderful renovation, the addition of a door from the living area to the bathroom is a major asset, especially if someone is staying on the couch
We had a terrific stay in 303! We spent a lot of time on the deck, soaking in the amazing views at sunrise and sunset. The unit was supplied with everything we might everything we could need

I feel so lucky to have found this property! A nicely updated unit with all the relaxing Aloha vibes. As promised, the view from the lanai was beautiful—especially at sunset. The peace and quiet was a welcome respite after the chaos of the wedding weekend my friend and I were in town for.

Property manager sent arrival instructions to junk mailbox, so we expecting an on-site manager to give us key. We were lucky to speak to someone who helped resend the key code. However had we arrived an hour later than we did, we would have been sleeping in the car. Other phone calls and emails about departure were unanswered. The view from balcony at sunset is wonderful.
I have gone to most islands in Hawaii over the last 30yrs and stayed in beautiful nice condos. We stayed 3 weeks and Sunset Kahili 303 is not one of them. It is a very dated property with numerous problems, i.e. there was no AC. Half the window gears were stripped out so you couldn't open the windows. When you shut the windows, when it rained, water still came in on the floor about 2 feet. When raining sliding door to lanai let water pass straight through seals around it. In the kitchen, the cofee pot had rust all over it where it didn't appear clean to make cofee. Knife block had serrated knife with rust all over it with grease from previous tenant still on blade. We immediately washed all plates and utensils as nothing appeared clean. I understand water saving shower heads, but, water emitting shower heads shouldn't be an issue. The shower head was so old and obstructed that 5 minutes to get shampoo out of your hair wasn't unusual. My girlfriend said she never felt like shompoo was ever actually gone. Going on isn't useful, just give this condo a pass if you are looking for a pleasant Hawaiian vacation
The place itself was beautiful even better than the pictures. The location was spectacular you could walk to so many things and the sunsets were breathtaking. Dream vacations was also kind and very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with one catch. The place is very strict on noise. We got a complaint because we were talking on the balcony at 7:30am and were asked to not come outside till 9am even though the rules are 8am-10pm. It was our first day we were weren’t aware of the quiet hours. Our friends in another condo got a complaint at 8:30pm even though they were inside their condo playing a board game. Once we figured out to keep our doors shut and not go out early we had no more complaints. I would still come back because it was manageable and worth it.
When I opened the door to our condo, I felt all my tensions wash away. There was a 180' vista of the ocean, beach & Mountains w/ rainbows. I saw a whale & sea turtles, all from the Lanai. Every room had a view and the spaciousness & decor just added to Aloha feeling.
We loved it here & will return for sure!
We spent a week here and have nothing but good things to say about the unit and Sunset Kahili in general. The location could not be more perfect - walkable to Poipu Beach, and just a short distance to Koloa. The unit was plenty of space for 3 adults with large suitcases. We especially appreciated the in-unit laundry, dedicated parking spot, beach supplies, and community pool. We made great use of the lanai, esp. on evenings where we ordered dinner for takeout from local favorites like Da Crack, Chalupas (try the blackened ono tacos!!), or Living Foods. What an amazing view in an amazing location!! Mahalo nui loa for your hospitality- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
