Room was clean, view was spectacular, beach was beautiful! Definitely recommend, hope to return sooner than later!
The actual property and the unit itself are a bit dated. However, we continue to return because we choose units right on the water. This unit had everything we could need, was clean, comfortable, and the neighbors were quiet and friendly. Love the location.
I loved looking out to the ocean view in this very comfortable unit! It was perfect for our stay in a central location in Maui. Highly recommend!

One of the better condos we have stayed at in Sugar Beach. Very good amenities, but some kitchen utensils need replacing. Not their fault, but we got several phone calls in the middle of the night! Really no need for land lines. Also lots of noise from the condo above.
Great view from lanai... ocean, sunset, whales in distance. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella were put to great use. Welcome gift bag and a few staples like salt and pepper were appreciated. Great condo, great stay. Washer and dryer (w/soap) came in handy. Clean and comfortable, nice floors and furniture. (Better than pics). Outside of buildings is a bit rough and could used some maintenance. Grounds and landscaping is great. Highly recommend.
Old but clean and great view
We had a great time in this apartment. The morning run on the beach, the sound of the waves, and the sunsets, all made it a great vacation. The apartment is comfortable and the welcome package was appreciated. The only minor thing this apartment lacks is a wooden spoon, everything else is there even if someone is in the mood to bake cakes during vacation :D
We loved SBR! We had a balcony overlooking the ocean. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We loved the community grills at night. Met lots of fun people. Will definitely do it again! Thank you, Jean and family.
We love staying at Sugar Beach. It is located on a quiet beach less than 10 minutes from Kihei and 20-35 minutes from Wailea and Kanaapali. The condo was very clean and the BEST sunset/sunrise and all day views (oceanfront) 10/10. Also, a good bar/casual restaurant which was convenient. You wont be disappointed!
