Accommodations were very comfortable with a beautiful ocean view. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay were right there at our fingertips.
Toilet needs bleaching. A lot of urine around base of toilet.mold in shower. Refrigerator needs a good cleaning. Spillage under glass. Coffee maker wasn’t cleaned. Screens need cleaning and screen door very hard to roll. Mattress was very comfortable but concerned mattress cover should totally be incased around the mattress because of bed bugs. Besides all this it’s a beautiful unit beautiful furnishings. We are thinking about coming every August. We love sugar beach so we will stay there. (Not sure about this unit. Like the plantation side better. Can see towards Kehei and green mountain.) But would like to see the cleaning better. The view is awesome…love the doors open all the way. Loved the rooster and the hens coming to visit. Grounds are very nice and well cared for. Great location. Very quiet. Never heard from the owner. We ve been to Maui maybe 15 times since the 80 s. Owners have always checked on us. That was different. Thank you for the great memories….

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach Resort 225! The view was incredible and just what we were hoping for, and we loved that we could just pop in the ocean for a swim whenever we wanted. The furnishings are great, the kitchen is beautiful and the condo had everything we needed (and more!). We made use of the beach chairs, snorkel gear and boogie boards! We slept great - the main bed was comfy and the sofa bed was not bad for a sofa sleeper. The AC worked great and kept the condo comfortable on the hot days. We had a maintenance issue while we there and they were SUPER fast to respond and get everything fixed. We so appreciated the amazing customer service! The condo was spotless and we felt instantly at home. Thanks for amazing stay! We definitely hope to stay here again!

Thank you for the incredible hospitality of this beautiful condo. The view from the balcony was stunning……we will never forget the sunsets (and the moonrises at nights) that we witnessed every night. The beach was beautiful and pool area was excellent.
The only hiccup was a sticky flush of the toilet; it does not flush well with little water. As former contractor, I recommend a new gut replacement. Other than that, everything else was perfect!
I will highly recommend this condo for future vacations to our families and friends!

We had a great time at Sugar Beach Resort. Our oceanfront room was awesome with beautiful views. The condo was well stocked and provided needed supplies. My only complaints are that the floor was extremely dirty and caused our feet to be covered in dirt and black by the end of the day, so we had to wear socks while inside; a good cleaning of the floors would have been appreciated. There is also no ceiling fan in the bedroom. The AC in the main living area was great but sorely lacked in the bedroom which made the bedroom a bit stuffy at night, otherwise we had a great time! The location is fantastic!
Sugar beach resort is an excellent location for fun son and a great Maui experience. Condo 225 after five previous visits to Sugar Beach resorts it’s a fantastic opportunity for first class accommodations. The Cassity is a great way to vacation without the hassle, knowing upfront what you get, what you pay, knowing if there’s a problem they’ll step in and resolve it. Going Vacassa is gives you a high probable peace of mind that you will have a good vacation

This was our second stay in this unit; the last time was in 2019. It is well appointed, well maintained, and centrally located. You can’t beat the view.
THIS CONDO WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. AS WE ARRIVED LATER IN THE EVENING, THE LITTLE GIFT PACK OF CHIPS, COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE SURE HIT THE SPOT. THIS CONDO WAS FULLY STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD ASK FOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CONDO TO ANYONE GOING TO MAUI.(CONDO 225).
I loved so much about this place: the best view; well equipped kitchen; condo located near second floor parking; friendly return guests at the pool and lawn area; easy walk on the beach to ABC Store, bakery and farmers market; resort centrally located for easy driving to Makena, Paia, Kahului or West Maui; comfortable bed; clean; beach equipment such as chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and snorkel gear; quality bed linens; a/c that keeps place cool on a hot day; nice gift pack awaiting us upon arrival; and non-carpeted floors (always a plus for someone with allergies). We loved this place so much, that we booked it again for 10 days next winter. I have been visiting the state of Hawaii for 47 years, always looking for a good value for the price. Maui is the best and this condo is the one I want to return to each time I visit from now on.
The condo is well appointed with furniture and kitchen. Plenty of towels too. Spectacular view!! Pool and hot tub are very nice. Plenty of loungers too. The king bed with pillow top was too soft for my husband so he slept on the pullout bed. That would be a concern for anyone with back issues.
Enjoyed our stay here! Clean unit, well stocked kitchen to make cooking a breeze, a nice lanai to hang out on and watch the whales! And for those that need to utilize the sofa bed, it was actually quite comfy (a pleasant surprise!). While you are a bit out of range for walking to all the Kihei restaurants, the off street parking, pool and grill area, and nice stretch of beach more than make up for it.
