Wonderful place.. welcoming hosts. Great location for all Maui had to offer. Our hosts gave us the privacy we needed but were attentive to our needs and helpful with directions. Believe me the pictures are exactly as advertised.. we had a lovely time!

We stayed here for five nights, and it was easily the most relaxing part of our trip to Maui. The space is beautifully thought out and truly feels like a retreat.The owners are wonderful and live right in front of the rental, but don’t let that deter you. You have complete privacy, and we never felt intruded upon in any way. The kitchen is nice and well stocked, and we cooked several breakfasts during our stay. While I personally prefer a Keurig over a traditional coffee pot, the coffee setup worked just fine.The outdoor space just off the kitchen was absolutely divine and where we spent most of our time. Although we were on the go quite a bit and only used the pool twice, it was still a great amenity. The pool was a little cold in January but definitely usable.The hosts are painters, and the space is decorated with a lot of their artwork, which was wonderful to look at. Much of the furniture has an antique or vintage feel and is very unique, adding a lot of character. It’s clear they put a great deal of thought and care into every detail, and it really shows.The location was also perfect, truly equidistant between Wailea and Kihei, making it easy to access both areas. We would 100% recommend this place and happily give it a 5-star review.

Talk about a wonderful experience. Upon arrival we met "The Twins" for a quick tour of the cottage we would call home for the next eight days. We loved it all from the art, to the pool, to the comfortable furnishings, to the beautiful bathroom and the outdoor bar.The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was exceptionally clean.Quick easy access to Kihei for beach access, shopping and restaurants.We loved the total privacy of the grounds and pool area. We loved it so much, we are booking again for spring!

An unbelievable and very unique setting. Although not on the beach ,it is a 2 mile drive to one of the best beaches. The facility is truly a Villa with a front and backyard one of which has a private, (to the renter) saltwater swimming pool. Some exercise equipment, water sports gear,beach chairs, umbrella ect The best part is the owners. They are twin brother artists and the Villa is full of their art. And the building of the facility was based on aesthetics. This along with the lower cost makes this one of the best vacation deals.

Great location-convenient to beaches, restaurants but also very private! Villa set in beautifully landscaped yard. Lovely pool for daytime use and when lit up at night.

We had the best time on this trip! This place is a must stay! The accessibility to everything we had planned and wanted to do was amazing, anything you need is a few min away. I absolutely loved the privacy this place has to offer, and the guys respect your space while you are a guest in their backyard. The pool was so nice and the yard is beautiful. Everything was so clean and tidy, with lots of extras we may need for our stay. We will most definitely be coming back to stay here again!!!

We enjoyed the large outdoor space and private pool. The owners are very responsive and provide drinking water on tap. Lots of great artwork throughout the space. The outdoor bar area is especially nice. The pool is not heated and is very deep so can be a little brisk. Recommend mapping the address on your phone rather than looking at the location in the listing on the VRBO site as the map there is not accurate..

This is a special slice of paradise in Maui. If you're looking for something private, with your own pool, and amazing hosts, look no further. We had an amazing time, despite a couple days of rain and wind. The hosts were cleaning the pool and area before we got back from breakfast! From wonderful recommendations for local dining, to beach and snorkeling options, our hosts were always available and so helpful. 10/10, would absolutely book again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this Maui property and the surrounding area. The apartment offered everything we needed-- a nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable bedroom with sitting area, private swimming pool, laundry facilities and more. It was a short drive to the beaches and to wonderful casual and fine-dining restaurants. Marcello and Alessio were available when we had questions and to offer ideas for activities and dining.We definitely plan to return.

Ohana is a very important belief in Hawaii. At Villa Paola, they go even further and embrace you into their Famiglia. First of all, words cannot describe the beauty of this home. The moment you enter the driveway, the lush greenery envelopes you and you literally feel like you have found paradise. You enter the home to find everything you want and more. The house is incredibly clean and welcoming. The bed is so comfortable, and the bathroom exquisite. You could lose yourself in the gallery of paintings adorning each and every wall. Then there are the outside spaces. The pool area is nothing short of breathtaking, and the bbq area and covered lenai is a perfect place to lose yourself in the sounds of the bird calls. The location is easy to find, yet far enough away that you feel like you are in the middle of a jungle. And now, lets talk about your hosts. Marcello and Alessio will do everything to make sure your stay is the stuff of dreams. I have never felt so welcome and honestly, I need to use the word, cherished by two people I had never met before. Their passion for creating a perfect vacation for you is overwhelming. They are right next door, but have gone to extreme lengths to make sure your privacy is protected, while being available whenever you need them. When reading through the numerous guest books, I found one that stated that it was their fifth time visiting. This is now my new life goal, to return to this paradise at least that many times. This Villa was by far BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Marcello is a wonderful person. It exceeded any of our expectations. If you go to Maui, This is the place to stay. I do not have one negative about this property. The art work is fantastic. Everything is. If we ever get the chance to go back to Hawaii this will be the place we will stay.

Our stay at the Villa was amazing. A perfect hideaway located on private property with total privacy surrounded by trees and gardens. Outdoor spaces include a bar right off the kitchen, a table for entertaining guests, a barbecue and a swimming pool. The villa was stocked with everything needed for cooking in. It is a 5 star hidden gem. Marcello was the perfect host.

I quit searching VRBO's website when I saw photos of this Villa, especially of the pool, then read about Villa Paola's total privacy. I booked it. The reviews about the Villa are so accurate that I've no need to add my own. You can "roll the dice" on other choices, but this pair, Marcello & Alessio, truly made our stay Paradise! These two unique men, doing sensational work, are, in a word...Twinsational!

We stayed at Villa Paola on our first trip to Hawaii as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We simply couldn’t have asked for anything better. The house is so beautiful, and we enjoyed the patio and pool every day. The location was ideal for us….quiet and removed from the busyness of the downtown hotel area, but only minutes away from the beach and shopping, etc. Marcello and Alessio were so wonderful to work with and we so enjoyed meeting them; indeed this is the first time we’ve ever met the property owners we rented from. They made sure we had everything we needed and made some terrific recommendations for us during our time there, which really helped us to appreciate and feel connected to our experience there even more. We really hope we can come back some day!

The Twins are fabulous hosts. The property is extremely private, quiet and well maintained. The pool is chilly this time of year ( January ) but utterly refreshing after a long day on the beach. All of the outside living areas as well as interior spaces of this bungalow have been thoughtfully decorated and designed with comfort, function and utility in mind. Having stayed in multiple VRBO rentals this has one of the best appointed kitchens available for your visit. Will definitely consider return visit. Five star happiness.
