My husband and I spent 5 days in Doreen's condo on Sugar Beach. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Maui. Spotless, fully stocked and the MOST comfortable bed! But the view from the lanai is the star! We could have spent the whole trip on the lanai looking at the amazing view of the ocean and listening to the waves! Perfect location in Kihei central to all the sites on the island. Thank you again Doreen!

Staying at the condo of owner Doreen was amazing! I booked this condo for our 10th anniversary trip and nothing disappointed. Very clean, very modern, and the description meet the expectation of the condo. My husband and I had a fabulous time in Kihei and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice property, close to the beach
This property provided an amazing getaway! The location right on Sugar Beach in Kihei is perfect! It is a central location that allows guests to travel to any part of the island. The view of the beach and sound of the ocean waves in the background is perfect for relaxing and enjoying evenings. We made a few dinners in the well-appointed kitchen, and we enjoyed eating out on the lanai while watching the sunset. The bed is very comfortable. The condo is well decorated, and everything was very clean and ready-to-go when we arrived. Although we did not use the pool, spa, or grilling area, they were very nice and well maintained with nice lounge chairs and clean bathrooms. If you want to sunbathe but don't want to lay in the sand, there is a nice grass area adjacent to the beach with several chaise lounge chairs. The host, Doreen, provided all necessary information up front, and she was responsive to the few additional questions that I had before we arrived and during our stay. We greatly enjoyed our stay and plan to return if it is available the next time we visit Maui!
We picked Maui as our destination and searched for oceanfront accommodations. We chose this condo based on reviews from guests who had stayed there. It did not disappoint. The property was central to all we wanted to do, and it was easy to get around. This particular condo was very clean, had all of the necessities, and a great pool and beach area. Our stay was perfect.
The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The view from the lanai was absolutely stunning. There was ample parking, grounds and pool area were beautiful and well maintained. Access to the beach was easy to get to. Condo was quiet at night. Owner was quick to respond to questions and was very accommodating. We definitely would stay here again when we return to Maui!!

Second time staying at Sugar Beach resort and first time with this unit/renter. Would definitely use again! Great oceanfront view and walking distance to the best shaved ice that we found on Maui, Ululani’s.
The place was perfect! Had a great time.
Beautiful view from the lanai. The location on the beach was fantastic. We did have a problem in the kitchen, plumbers had to work on in it for a half a day. Lighting in the kitchen and bathroom needed to have lights replaced. The bathroom light was never replaced. Other than these problems I would probably rent it in the future.
My husband and I visited Maui second time and we enjoyed our short vacation there it very much. This unit was absolutely amazing, it has the best location, beautiful ocean view and nice beach with long walks.
Location, amenities and quietness will have us coming back!

Sugar Beach resort was a great place to stay. It is located close to so many attractions. We had a 10 minute ride the pier, and a 20 minute ride from the airport. They have shops on property to grab a bite to eat or a drink.
The pool was clean and well maintain. The beach was wonderful to watch the sunset each evening. We had a wonderful view of the sunset from our balcony.
The unit was clean and we had what we needed to cook.
My husband kept exclaiming how the clean sandy beach was one of the nicest he’s ever visited. We enjoyed walking north as far as we waned, then stopping for a swim before heading back to the condo complex for a rinse off before swimming in the pool.
Early mornings we watched the outrigger clubs rowing; in the evening we watched the stars and planets. The sounds of the surf was calming (unless it caught me off guard and startled me!).
I enjoyed the vintage B&W photographs of past surfers and related Hawaiian decor.
The AC worked flawlessly! It’s a comfortable unit and the upgraded cooling system installed in the buildings is a delightful upgrade.
There’s no street noise and this condo unit is well equipped for daily use. It contained everything we needed, and we enjoyed the time we spent, and if we return to Maui we would stay like to stay here again.
Lovely, clean and well-stocked condo. Beautiful view with the sound of the waves crashing the only real noise we heard-other than roosters crowing!. Sunsets from the lanai were spectacular. Really glad we chose Sugar Beach area—was central to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay at the condo again!

We came to Maui to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and it was a little piece of heaven. The condo was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The views are AMAZING and the sunsets were perfect for our trip. We did various tours… Road to Hana, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Maui Nui Luau, Island hopped to tour Pearl Harbor, and visited several beautiful beaches. Sugar Beach Resort is a hidden gem in Kihei.. location central to everything, more low key than other resorts. Pool and surroundings well kept. Ocean front 3rd floor condo
This is our second time booking this unit and we were more than satisfied with our stay again. The unit is very nice and is well maintained. The unit has an Amazing view of the Ocean. The Lanai is spacious and we used it often daily for our coffee/breakfast or dinners. The property is also located minutes from all necessities. We will come back. Thank you Doreen!!
The view couldn't get any better! Each morning we'd wake up and watch Outriggers practice while eating breakfast, and then catch the sunset from the lanai at night. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you'd need to cook; there are even glass Tupperware containers which were great for day trips so items would not get smashed, and stayed cold in the cooler and ice packs that were also provided. We were very happy there was a king bed as my (now) fiancé is very tall - he proposed on Wailea beach at sunset during our stay :-) We would absolutely stay at this location again!
