My 2nd time staying in this same penthouse until. Carpet recently replaced with very nice LVP, making an even more immaculate property. Beautiful view for morning coffee on lanai. Great TV for streaming. Comfy bed. Great shower. Owners are easily accessible, super friendly & helpful, and responsive. The beach going chairs and umbrellas are great. Will stay here again.
Our stay was fabulous. The unit had everything we needed for a few nights with our two kids, and we loved the beach walks, swimming in the ocean, pool and hot tub, balcony, and easy access to Wailea area for a day trip. Hard to imagine paying so much more elsewhere when this had all we needed. Hosts were excellent communicators and generous, and we loved that the unit had boogie boards, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and small cooler, as well as some pantry oils and spices and things perhaps left by past guests or by the hosts, as well as a few odds and ends in the bathroom cupboard that were not things we counted on but appreciated. Wonderful place to stay!
We loved our stay in paradise. Mike and Brenda are wonderful and kind hosts. The view is phenomenal. Saw lots of whales and slept to the sound of the ocean. Thank you so much!
We just had the pleasure of staying in this unit for one week in August 2024. Mike & Brenda were amazing to correspond with -- helpful, highly communicative, understanding and incredibly generous! They really went out of their way to ensure that we had the best experience and for that I will be forever appreciative!
This unit has a BEAUTIFUL view from the lanai and the Sugar Beach Resort is located in an incredibly central spot where you are 15-30 minutes (or less!) from everything on the island -- and we sure explored every corner of Maui! At the end of our long days of exploration, we enjoyed relaxing back at the condo. We (a family of 4 with two young children) especially appreciated the washer/dryer, kitchen, and dishwasher :)
I will say that before going to Maui I did not appreciate just how strongly the trade winds funneled through Northern Kihei - so it is important to note that does get very windy in the afternoons at this location. Fortunately, the lanai of this unit is protected from the winds, so it remained one of my favorite places to sit and enjoy coffee at sunrise or drinks at sunset :)

I had to return to the island after the Lahaina fire to retrieve my luggage. The condo is exactly as described, super clean, and in a great (central) location. The host was super hospitable and responsive. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Our hosts Mike and Brenda did a great job communicating with us right from the start through the entire process. The property is in a perfect location and the view of the ocean from the room is second to none. All of the amenities were included in the room and good location to shops and stores. Would highly recommended this room and property and look forward to a return in the future
This place is all about the location. It’s away from the really busy tourist areas but the view is fantastic and still close enough to everything. Watching the sunset everyday from the balcony. Doesn’t get much better. If you want a huge resort this isn’t it. And that’s what we like about it.

The unit is a bit older but the furnishings are all new. The bed is super comfy!

The place has an awesome view from the balcony and the living room. It directly overlooks the ocean with no instructions. The place is easily accessible and central in location when In Maui. Kitchen was fully stocked and bed was very comfortable. The property has great amenities from a restaurant to excursion/activity store, spa, pool and hot tub. Mike was in direct communication with me throughout my stay. He was very accommodating for any additional requests and very quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this place with such great views, amenities and awesome hosts!
Amazing!! Mike and Brenda go above and beyond to ensure your stay is absolutely perfect. I was blown away by their hospitality. Not only that, the condo is just perfect. Clean, cozy, and the view is unreal. Very fortunate to have stayed here.
