We love this condo beach is right there walk right out to pool close enough to every thing yet just far from the crowded beachs . The host is helpful and responds quick. This was our third stay here and will be back next year.

Great spot, across the road from the beach. Nice swimming pool. Easy parking. Ground floor. Super well appointed with kitchen and beach supplies. A bright and breezy kitchen, dining area and lanai. The sitting area, bedrooms and bathroom were all very adequate but a little dowdy. Overall a great place to stay. Four and a half stars.

To say we were disappointed with this property would be a massive understatement. Vrbo has a character limit so in short: this condo was disgusting. The host was very much aware of the condition of the unit & offered zero assistance & even stopped responding, despite us being overly polite. I have written confirmation from Vrbo customer service that the state of the property was very concerning. So, this property has now been reported to the Hawaii dept of public health. The details:
- stained bedspread, yellowed/stained pillows
- Kitchen counter so dirty that it turned a paper towel dark brown
- Dirty plates with old food crusted on them
- Mold around the ice maker
- At least 8 roaches running all over the silverware, throughout the drawers, inside the dishwasher
- floor turned my feet black right after scrubbing them in the shower
- Shower tiles stained/covered in soap scum
- Bedroom carpeting is disgustingly, horribly stained all over the entire carpet
- Black mold on the shower curtain, black dirt/dust all over the sink next to the washer/dryer, on the shower shelf

Host also makes you wash towels & threatens to charge you if you use the single AC unit “too much,” as if your comfort isn’t determined by you.

This Kihei condo is in a great location with a quick 30 second walk to the beach, is equipped with all the necessary beach stuff and so close to all the good food spots in Kihei. It was plenty of room for our family of four and the host was great with communication.
Our biggest complaint is that the unit could use a little updating of decor and it wasn't very clean. The shower floor had pink mold, the shower curtain had black mold, the bedroom lamp shades were thick with dust and the bedsheets/comforters had stains and weren't very comfortable/made of a cheap material. The check out instructions included us doing some laundry and based off of that, we wondered if the sheets had been recently cleaned because the laundry we did with the provided detergents had a very strong clean scent.
Overall, I think the location of this unit is fantastic and the host really cares about the property. But I think it needs to be better cleaned more regularly for a more comfortable stay.

We had a great time at Kehei Holiday. Robert, the host, was welcoming and responsive to questions. The property is well maintained and a simple crossing of the street to beach access! The condo was well stocked with amenities, including beach gear (snorkels, towels, cooler, and umbrella). The condo is older, but we did not mind this as all the amenities are in working order.
There is a single AC unit in the living room. We slept with the window breeze and fans with no issue. It was nice to be able to hear the ocean. We would stay here again.

Condo was clean, well maintained, and nicely appointed. The owner/host was very gracious and went out of his way with some personalized communication/accommodation to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. Also, the fact that the condo had several coolers to choose from, beach chairs/towels/umbrelllas, and two snorkels was really nice - we were all set for days at the beach!
Morning coffee on the lanai was dreamy, and the clean and beautiful pool was only steps away. Neighbors were nice, complex was quiet, and a great location to start adventures in Kihei or greater Maui. Catching the sunset and dipping our toes in the waves at the beach right across the street was an added bonus.

Great location! So close to amazing shaved ice and an ABC store. And guess what? It's right across the street from the beach! Although, I have to be honest, swimming there might not be the best idea. But no worries, we found some awesome beaches at kamaole for our beach days. And the condo had everything we needed for a beach adventure. Oh, and let's not forget about the pool and hot tub. They're pretty nice. Just a heads up though, if you have playful children, you might have some watchful eyes from nearby tenants. Not sure if they're the managers, but they seemed to always be keeping an eye on us, which was a bit annoying. But overall, our stay was fantastic and we would definitely recommend it!
