Unit 1220 sleeps six (6) as there are four (4) beds total in the unit: There is a Cal king bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size memory foam sofa sleeper the living room , plus a memory foam twin XL and loveseat sleeper in the living area. Amenities include TVs in both rooms and DVD/Blu-ray player in the living room and free cable TV, Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet.
All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. There is a washer/ dryer located in the unit along with complementary so. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional charge.
The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. or drive home after dinner. Kaanapali Beach has been distinguished as being named 'Best Beach in the USA' year after year by resort critics.
Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving, golf, tennis, scuba diving, fine dining, hiking, jogging and world class shops all only steps away from your fully equipped 'plush' condominium.

*This one bedroom unit sleeps a MAXIMUM of 6. There is an additional guest charge of $20/nightly for MORE than 4 guests in the unit. This will be outlined in the booking amount when you book. The reason for this additional fee is for additional housekeeping expense assessed by the housekeeper.

My husband and I spent 10 days in Maui at this amazing condo. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Here are some of the highlights:*It has a great view from the balcony and is steps from the beach and the pool. *We loved the location. It was a short walk to a variety very good restaurants with ocean views.*The condo comes equipped with a number of beach items. We used the beach umbrella and snorkel equipment several days.*The kitchen was well equipped and nicely updated. Dish soap, dishwasher soap and paper towels were included which was so helpful.*It was really nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit and detergent was included. *The Whaler has a beach towel service and beach chairs readily available at no extra cost. *The condo was clean, comfortable and there was plenty of closet/storage space. *We had one very stormy day, so we appreciated the wide variety of TV channels to watch while we rode out the storm.*The check in/check out was by far the easiest of any VRBO we've stayed; it took minutes on both ends of the trip.*We rented a car, so appreciated the free parking and access to undercover parking (though the undercover spots were not always available).The bottom line...we loved every minute of our time on Maui, were very happy we chose this property and would definitely stay at any one of Jim's Whaler condos if/when we return!

Such a comfortable condo with an amazing view and fantastic location. Most days I had difficulty deciding if I liked hanging out on the lanai or directly on the beach, which was just steps away. Great location for a wonderful family vacation.

The Unit was very nice. Only negatives were the Pidgeon's. They are nesting in the faux flower boxes and their copious amounts of poop had us cleaning the lanai several times and there was 2 days that the stench was such that we just shut the door and stayed inside
