Reviewer Comments:
The king bed was very noisy, there was no way to turn without making squeaking noises. We had to call multiple times, owners to open the storage outside to use the chairs and umbrellas. Thank you for giving the permission, usually, in the past, the guests always had access to those amenities. The sleeper sofa was not good as well. The kitchen and appliances were good and we had everything we needed. The bathrooms are nicely updated. There was not enough dishwasher soap I am not sure why. Also, you need to bring your shampoo and lotions because they leave only small bottles. I would recommend buying bigger containers so can be reused and guests do not end up buying throwing because these days everyone travels with a carry-on. The pool area and grounds were clean and outstanding. Though there is a homeless camp nearby but this is out of the control and the condo management. Location is great.

The condo was well laid out and supplied all needed amanities except for 2:There were NO Beach chairs and no cooler. These are 2 must haves when visiting Maui and I had to rent a chair for 2 weeks. Very disappointing.We have stayed many times at this complex and there have always been beach chairs to use.

I have enjoyed many vacations staying at Kameole Sands. This unit was well equipped and appointed but for the first time they didn’t allow me to use their beach chairs and small ice chest. I had to borrow one from my friends in another location. Very disappointing and especially since my storage closet didn’t lock properly and their note to guests accused us of breaking into it. Everything else was great, including the bed. I slept well and comfortably.

We have stayed a number of times at Kam Sands and the property is lovely, the unit was nice but it did lack a few things, like a rice cooker, utensils, proper cooking and storage containers, and A/C in the bedroom. Only basic supplies were available for our use. It was very hot at the end of June when we stayed and it made sleeping tough with only a few fans. The A/C in the livingroom couldn't provide enough cool air for the livingroom so we had a number of sleepless nights.

When we arrived Saturday night we found a note saying that someone was coming in to replace the fridge and range, but no dates, etc. They showed up on the following Monday but weren't able to get the fridge out due to water line issues. They planned on coming back but we asked them to wait until we left. Austin was very nice. We did call the manager to discuss some of our issues on Tuesday but never got a call back at all during our stay. We checked out on Sunday, June 30.

Overall, I can not recommend this unit or the management for Maui Condo and Home. I have rented numerous times from this property management co. and was disappointed this time around.
