Location was quiet, close and beautiful small complex! Beach was rocky and sandy and so beautiful. Pool was awesome and never crowded! Condo well stocked for cooking! Kitchen and bathroom nicely done, bed comfortable and sofa not so comfortable. My only disappointment was found a couple things not as clean as I would like and some of the decor could be more fresh and current.
Always a beautiful place to stay. I little bit different this time with a few displaced Lahaina locals staying there. Kinda of felt like we came back to the Island to soon after the fire. A bit of a different vibe. I think I'll give it a couple more years before I go back.
Grounds were quiet and beautiful, and only a few minutes away from amazing Kaanapali and Napili beaches. The property has an amazing view - we saw lots of turtles relaxing on the shore and whales in the distance. Also loved that parking was free since that's hard to come by at most accommodations on the island. The unit itself is pretty dated, but it's really not an issue if you, like us, aren't planning on spending much time in the room.The only con we have is the pull-out couch. The listing says it can sleep four, but really it's only three - if that. We thankfully only needed to sleep one other person which is good because the pull-out would not have been able to support two. After the second night, our party on the couch opted to sleep on it not pulled-out since it was far more comfortable that way. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! If we go back just the two of us, we would definitely revisit this listing!
This place was very nice, clean all the amenities and beautiful view. Neighbors were wonderful and friendly. Pool right outside the patio and views of the ocean. Would definitely stay again.
We love Kuleana Resort. Beautiful grounds, nice pool and on the ocean. What more can a person want?!?! Condo was nice needs a little TLC but was perfect for us. Already planning our return.

This condo was an absolute gem for our Maui getaway. The property perfectly matched the listing's description and photos. We loved the stunning landscaping and the added bonus of a small beach during our stay. Communicating with both the property management and owner was easy. We highly recommend this lovely condo for couples or small families seeking a memorable Maui vacation. We would love to go back!

The Kuleana resort is amazing, grounds are immaculate, pool is very nice, staff is nice, the property management company was easy to deal with. There is a nice but small beach area where we saw turtles. Would recommend the resort. The unit was very dirty, needs some serious TLC, and the air conditioning was broken. Management company responded right away when we called about the air conditioning not working, but it needed to be replaced which couldn't be done during our stay. Make sure you confirm the air conditioner has been replaced before booking if air conditioning is important to you.
They communicated well. It was near the pool.
Property was great getting the parking pass was the only hassle. First night nobody onsite plane was late then nasty note on windshield and nobody there u til later that day! If nobody is available you should be a bit less nasty about parking pass but everything else was perfect thank You!
Beware of renting this property. It was expensive, and when we arrived, it was filthy. Sand, dirty towels, sandy snorkel gear throughout the bathroom. Full trash in the kitchen, dishwasher full of dirty dishes, messy/used bed, food in freezer. Contacted the company when we arrived, they came, cleaned until 11 p.m., did not finish, said they would return the next day, never did. Kitchen, dining room, and living room were never cleaned. I attempted to get the PIN for using the in-closet safe, they never gave it. I emailed them with my questions and concerns, they emailed back someone would get back to me - we were there 4 nights and no one did. Stove doesn't work properly; the biggest burner only has a high temperature, despite turning it down to low. Very disappointed. The best thing about the unit is the shower - great water pressure, large stall. Beautiful pool and it's near the unit. Those 2 things are the only saving graces of this unit.
The swimming pool was fantastic, and swimming in ocean behind the lot was also great saw turtles each time we got in the water. Lots of fish in the rocks to view when snorkeling.
Excellent location, easy walk to the pool, very short walk to small beach. Lovely views from the lanai. As some have stated, the kitchen is small for the serious cook, but worked just fine for our needs (family of 4). Outdoor BBQ just past the pool with a gorgeous view while cooking on the grill. Can't beat this location for daily swims and sun with the kids!
