Great location. Great walkability. Sofa bed could do with a newer mattress but not awful.
Great condo with a beautiful view and prime location next to the Lagoon. We had everything we needed (pots/pans, dishes) to be able to cook and not eat out every meal. Beds were comfortable. The WiFi was not working the first day but I reset it and had no issues. One outdated item in the instructions is that the laundry room now takes credit cards now. So you don’t need to get cash and coins. Would recommend if you are looking for a spot in Waikiki.

We were quite comfortable, my family of five. Such a convenient location, food and shopping, a fully equipped kitchen, and our teenagers loved the beaches. Hope to return again!
We spent 11 days at the property and we had a blast. All the basic things are there. Views are absolutely amazing. The location is great and close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Over those 11 days, we had no problem with parking. There is one behind the hotel we were lucky to park at on most of the days and its not very expensive (1 per hour). There is another one is in the garage next to Red Lobster that is a little more expensive. We had no need to contact the owner. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
I loved the location, you can see sunsets every night. I also enjoyed the communication with the host.

We enjoyed this unit and already booked for next year. It was the most clean that we’ve experienced at the Ilikai in the many years we’ve visited. and host quickly helped with two special requests! Wonderful stay.
The property was at a good spot with lots of shops and dining in the area within walking distance. Only difficulty was the lack of parking or very expensive parking at the hotel.
This was our first time visiting Hawaii!! This condo was perfect. Easy to check in. It had everything we needed as a family of 3. The beds were comfy. We loved hanging outside in the balcony in the evenings. Each night was a beautiful sunset. Our location was in walking distance of pretty much everything!!! We got a rental car and parked it in the parking garage next to Red Lobster. We 100% recommend this condo. We will be renting again on our next visit!!!

This was the perfect location for my latest trip. It is centrally located and easy to get anywhere on the island. The room was a little dated, but it worked out perfect for us. The bathroom was in great condition, the balcony sunsets were amazing, and it was great to have the laundry units just a few steps away. We would definitely stay there again!
We really enjoyed our stay. Super convenient and the view, especially the sunset view might be my favorite part. ❤️🌺
Review by guests who stayed not who made the booking-Early check-in was appreciated after long international flight. The beds were very comfortable, AC great and view is stunning. However, the unit is tired and needs some attention-the net curtains are torn, the drapes stained on the inside and paint is peeling on the ceiling in the kitchen around the fan. Would recommend based on good value.
Enjoyed our stay. As others have stated, the screws for the one stool kept falling out and the curtains were filthy. Was a great location. The Bus Stop was right out the doors to the building. Would definitely rent from again. Was just what we needed for our week on the island.
I really enjoyed this property. It was a perfect spot to have as our home base. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Host also left us some shampoo/conditioner/body soap which was nice. We had towels and beach towels. We had clear instructions. None of my family members liked the beds, unfortunately, but that is a personal preference. I think the bath math in the shower needs a nice clean because it had black mold and there was no fan in the bathroom to help with the condensation after showers. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.
The location of the apartment was fantastic. Beautiful ocean views and lanai is perfect for viewing sunsets. Communication was outstanding and Jeannie was quick to respond.
Cleanliness – The general surface areas were clean; however, the entry closet, baseboards were extremely dusty/dirty, the bathroom door had grime above the handle, vent in the shower (didn't appear to work) had black mildew? and two lightbulbs were out above the sink, leaving one working.
Appliances were in good condition, however, vacuum and canister was dusty/dirty ,TV/SAT/Cable controller literally had multiple layers of scotch tape to hold in the batteries, and the room fan cord was taped to the floor so you couldn't move it out to air the room better. Plenty of cookware, but recommend the owner buy some regular size spoons. Very little storage w/3 accessible shelves and space below for shoes.
Beds – Subjective to the sleeper, but as frequent travelers, we all had issues. Couch – Again, subjective. This is a sleeper sofa (didn’t use), and when looking at it, the cushions tilt forward; however, it was comfortable enough.
Overall, this place was okay and needs updating.. Views are as stated.
Last, for those returning visitors to the Ilikai, Cinnamon’s restaurant is no longer open, (only their Kailua location). Also, you don’t need coins for the laundry, (per the check-in info), as it does accept credit cards.
Pictures are exactly what it looks like. Great view! Seemed really clean until you went into the shower. Needs a new mat and completely recaulked...so much mold!!! Also needs more lightbulbs in the bathroom as only 1 was lit. Mattress was so so. If you were the only one in the bed it was fine, otherwise you would roll inward. Really enjoyed having a full size fridge, sink and microwave and the island was very handy too. Also, towels were super soft which was pleasant however, as someone that is allergic to scents beware that the towels and sheets are washed in scented soap.
The view from this condo was as advertised. The condo itself needs a lot of updating. The beds were not at all comfortable and the pillows were extremely small. The barstools all are in need of being replaced. There sheers were torn and looked really bad. The remote control for the a/c unit did not work and the remote for the tv had the battery cover missing and taped over. The kitchen was adequately supplied. The microwave would not shutoff at the end of the cycle. The entry door locking mechanism worked intermittently. Had to enter door code to lock as we were leaving the condo. Overall, for the price of the rental for this condo, I would not rent this again. It is in need of a lot of upgrades and repairs.
Overall, this was a pleasant stay. The unit was clean and well supplied. The views from the lanai are beautiful.
The online listing is a bit misleading in a sense that it makes one believe that the unit was recently renovated which is not the case (e.g. the shower floor can already use an update, one of the tables on the balcony is missing as is one of the chairs, etc.). The check in process was very smooth and easy.
