Property was clean and very close to the beach and great food.
We loved our stay here!! Perfect location! It was really close to the beach and great shopping. I would totally stay there again.!! Loved our condo because they had lots of beds!
This was our second vacation at Kamaole Sands and the property didn’t disappoint! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The condo was exactly as described and it was perfect for our family of six. The AC unit in the lanai does get warm, but we would turn it off in the morning and let the breeze blow through the condo so we could enjoy morning coffee and evening wine on the Lanai. The location is ideal for morning walks/jogs and even shopping! Thank you for another wonderful vacation!
Very clean and nice place. Room was as advertised and fit our family (4 adults, 4 children 8-13). Close to beaches and stores, pool was nice, kids enjoyed the Turtle Talk on Friday morning. Only downside was ac needed to be off to use lanai and part of our group struggled without ac.
Only issue was the air conditioner on the balcony

We had a great trip and loved the location of the property. The grounds are beautiful. We walked to the beach and the sunsets there were incredible. The pool is awesome and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The only thing that I didn’t love is the keys. They still have old school metal keys and a fine if you lose them. I think they could be upgraded to make it better and less stressful for families. Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 7 recently stayed at Kamaole Sands in Kihei, in one of the 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom units, with a loft.
The Good:
Convenient location, with a short walk to the beach and a view of the ocean from the lanai.
Great property with lots of amenities. We swam in the pool most days and used the first come first serve grills a couple times. The grounds are beautiful. and the management was friendly and responsive.
There was plenty of space in the unit and a bed for everyone in the family. We appreciated having 3 bathrooms
The Bad:
There are two air conditioning units in the apartment, but only one was working and it was not able to adequately cool the space. The one functioning unit had to work especially hard and made the lanai super hot and loud.
The beds were hard and the pillows lumpy and the sofa was uncomfortable. After sightseeing, we just wanted a place to relax, but the uncomfortable beds and sofa made this difficult.
There were other nicer units on the property. We would definitely consider staying at Kamaole Sands again, but not in this particular unit.
