Loved our unit..patio door had beautiful beach view and access. Best sunsets ever.
The residence is as listed. Contact is with the management company, not owner. The one negative, are a local population of about 5 homeless, who have a semi-permanent hangout on the actual property grounds, just to the condo building adjacent. We had a ground floor, and daily several homeless persons would either use the grounds sprinkler in front of our room, or end up cutting through the condo's insecure entrances to the beach access. This was fine, except there was one member who had significant mental illness that would walk immediately in front of our condo at breakfast time, often swinging a stick etc. The other was another who would get up, and relieve themselves in the bushes where there are obviously children in the pool. I will send the condo management a recommendation email, but it is obviously not monitored by them. Just keep this in mind, that there are no efforts currently to deal with this as their security is a single person who is not discouraging either the permanent presence, or behaviors as mentioned above. Other than this, everything was great in terms of the actual condo. It is very quiet at night, and for the money paid, the location can not be beat.
We loved staying here and will definitely be back again! This condo is the perfect location and had absolutely everything we could need! The beach and beach access was the best part!
Comfortable property with commenter access to the Kihei area
This is a cute condo and fine for a couple or single person. The kitchen and amenities are good and the bed comfortable, though I had to wash the sheets in unscented detergent as they had a sickly floral smell which gave me a headache. They need new towels as well, and to deal with the ants which were pervasive in the kitchen. That said, it was incredibly easy to get in touch with their property manager who did their best to remedy the ants. I live on a marsh so know how hard it can be to deal with them, and she did her best. The beach is great for long walks, but it is not a swimming beach -- good for a quick dip, but rough and tough to see the lava rocks. For a swim/snorkel you'll need to go south a bit.
What I did like was this condo was out of the way of uber touristy parts and very quiet. The people who stayed there were friendly. I appreciated the property manager and ease of arriving and departure. Expect an older building with its issues, but for the price, considering Hawaii's prices, worth the cost.
This was a perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway. Convenient for walking to shops, restaurants and bars. Love the beach view right out the patio. Well worth the money. I would definitely stay here again!
What a special place to stay for our 10 years anniversary. We totally come back to stay here again. Close to everywhere and most beautiful place to watch to sunset.
Needs a picture of the outside front entrance we drove by looking for a beachfront entrance. The ploy of charging <$150 a night got us to look at it on line, but all the extra charges makes it >$300 a night. But I have say it was worth every penny. Perfect location. Right on the beach. Open the door to the lanai that leads you out to the sand and shore. Oceans nice and calm during the sunrise. Condo was well equipped with fun gear: beach chairs, beach bags, towels, boogie boards, golf clubs.Place was very clean, the kitchen was clean and organized. The living room and bedroom were brightly decorated which was very welcoming. Highly recommended 😊
