It was a great location and the grounds were very nice.
Nice simple first floor condo with easy parking and comfortable beds near the Westin in Princeville with walkable access to Wyllie/Anini Beach via a steep dirt trail. Everything was GREAT except the dishwasher did not work (plus a few cockroaches and the beach chairs were covered in mold)...not the end of the world :) Aloha!
The property location was perfect. Very quiet and close to beautiful beaches. However, that’s where all redeeming qualities end. This condo is filthy and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. The rules ask that you take your shoes off, within minutes of walking on the tile floors our feet were brown and socks were black. There is a thick layer of dust on every ceiling fan, louvre, trim, floor corner, ceiling, etc. There were also dead bugs on the walls. The dishes were covered in hardened food and the pans covered in grease, everything had to be washed before it could be used. When turning on the iron, 100s of ants began crawling out of it. Many of the standing fans did not work, but thankfully there was a great wind that made them unnecessary. The rules are completely inapplicable to the rental. For example, they state a parking permit would be required though one was never provided and that garbage must be taken out every Wednesday in a rolling County Bin that needs to be placed on the road but in actuality you just find the community bins and place your trash there. I have rented condos through Vacasa before and always had an amazing experience with a nice welcome gift waiting when you arrive (similar to what is shown in the photos for this rental). There was none of that this time and zero was done to remedy the situation when they were notified. While I would highly recommend the location I would never recommend this condo to family and friends as is.

The place was acceptable. It could be cleaner. I think the cleaning crew could use more attention to detail. Blinds in the kitchen are filthy. Spills inside cupboards. Slats in in-suite bathroom are full of old dust. Otherwise, the place is enjoyable and conveniently located.
Great private space in the perfect north island location! Close to multiple beaches and easy to get around. Quiet at night and so many birds to listen to. Beautiful views!
We enjoyed our time here a lot, it’s a comfy spot but we had multiple problems with the appliances that inconvenienced our trip. We started off by wandering around in the dark in the rain trying to find the spot because the numbering system for the villas is strange and they didn’t bother explaining it or sending a map. The kitchen drawers smelled and some items were unclean or in bad condition, such as a knife that fell apart as we were using it. The oven wouldn’t go over 100 degrees which we found out after buying all oven based groceries. My friend burned her arm badly twice trying to broil a pizza before we started using the grill which luckily worked. We grilled what we could of our frozen foods and brought home the rest to Maui. The grill area is nice and we made the best of it but it was inconvenient. The key to the pool didn’t work and someone had to let us in. The dishwasher wouldn’t start and then the last morning we tried to wash a load of clothes but it got stuck on wash and wouldn’t spin, so we had to put sopping wet clothes in the dryer and after two hours of trying to dry them gave up and packed wet clothes home. The best things about the place is all the space the two bathrooms, and lanais providing lots of space for privacy, all the lighting options, and the jets in the bath. All in all we made the best of it and had an amazing time in Kauai and would stay here again if they credit us towards the next stay to make it right for this one having so many issues.
Great location close to the mountains and beaches. Most places don’t have AC so that’s typical but couldn’t get the big fan to work so was a little warm in the evenings as it was high 80s during our stay. The house was spacious and beds were comfortable. Missing a few key kitchen items if you plan to cook but lots of good restaurants around and some even in walking distance. The host left local chocolates, granola. Etc for us when we arrived and that was a nice touch.
The home is in a prime location. Has everything you need. The only complaint was that it wasn’t very clean. Otherwise it’s what you can expect in a beach house. Would stay again.
Spacious and quiet end unit. Easy walk to the Westin and the beach.
