We stayed in this unit for only 3 days and didn't want to leave. It was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. The location is central in the community and we especially enjoyed the ocean pool. Coming back after a day of exploring and enjoying dinner on the lanai was a highlight! We hope to be back soon.

We loved the location (next to the surf shower) of this unit. It has all we needed! It smelled a tiny bit like cigarette smoke at first but we didn’t notice it again. It’s nice to have 1 bedroom options at Puamana as they are more affordable. We often stay in 80-4 and love the older quaint nod to Puamana before renovations. The atmosphere around Puamana is not a resort feel but feels like you live there. People are friendly and the surf is almost always good for longboarding!

t's 7:30 am. You are on vacation, so you want to sleep in. However, your neighbors next door have kids and their alarm clock just went off, together with their kids. You hear everything from then on because the walls are paper thin. So, you get up, and go to an unimpressive beach or an utterly forgettable road to Hana. You come back and find out the place turned into an oven (and we were there in December). You turn on the tiny air-conditioner in the bedroom, but it doesn’t do the job, plus conveniently blows cold air straight into your head when you lie in the bed. So, you open all the doors and windows, and by 3 am the temperature drops to comfortable 75 degrees. You want to sleep in, but by now you know what happens at 7:30 :) As a bonus you get reminded over and over again that if you don't register immediately you will be fined $10,52. Clearly not a mind-blowing sum, but the reminders make you wonder if you are on vacation or at a camp. Oh, by the way, you have a car with you. Good luck finding a parking spot for it. Yet, thanks to cruising around looking for a parking spot you can do a lot of local sightseeing :)

We live on Maui and this is our favorite place for a staycation on the island. This unit was situated with easy access to Hot Sands and Pools (surf spots) and the swimming pools.
Puamana is gorgeous and peaceful. Feels like you’re in old Hawaii.
One suggestion for this unit is to upgrade the wall AC to a split system. The AC was very noisy. Otherwise it is a great unit and we loved the open floor plan!
Very clean and comfortable, great location, great home base to return to each day after exploring the island. Very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely return.

We had a great time staying in Lahaina and would recommend this unit to anyone who was planning a trip to Maui. Everything was exactly as listed and the one tiny issue we had with the wifi was taken care of super quick. All in all would definitely consider staying here again.
Great location and gated community! Very quiet and peaceful steps away from the beach.

We loved this unit at Puamana. We love Puamana in general, and this unit was clean, updated and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The location is great, convenient to the clubhouse, pools and Lahaina. Even though there are other units close by, you get great privacy on the lanai. You can hear the ocean, which is only steps away. The only negative was the very loud, outdated air conditioner in the bedroom. Luckily we did not need it much but is is way to loud to sleep. Other than that, everything was perfect.
