The location and the condo itself were very enjoyable. Amazing views, lots of interior space, good amenities, nice neighbors....and did I say amazing views? There were some issues that we encountered such as only one small pool was open, the BBQ only had enough propane for 2 meals, and a few other more minor issues. The bathrooms were very hot, so we purchased 2 standing fans for them and left them in the closet for the next guests. The clothes washer soap was too old and didn't dissolve in the washer and stained some of our clothes. The air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TVs, and kitchen appliances all worked well. The condo smelled fresh and clean, except for the master bed which had a faint odd smell at the left head of the bed. We really enjoyed our stay and already miss seeing the ocean a few yards from the lanai. We would definitely stay again, even despite the tsunami evacuation which turned into a great time meeting locals and watching the sunset and evening stars. We really feel that Puamana is somewhat of a secret place to stay and we will return again. We also pray for the locals who lost their homes and family members and we hope that they all find peace and recovery soon.

We had a lovely time here. It is a beautiful property at a fantastic location. The view was amzing on both sides, the ocean on one side and the mountains at the back. The beach access is right in front of the property. We would step out and explore other places in the mornings and spend the evenings just relaxing on the porch or at the beach here. The house was clean, had portable air conditioning units in each room, bathrooms and kitchen was fully equipped with essential things. The hosts were very approachable and responsive. They sent us the information ahead of time and reached out during our stay to check if we needed anything. We also used the swimming pool behind the property, kids enjoyed it there, having a shallow kid-friendly end was helpful. Lahaina downtown is a 5 minute drive from here, so we had easy access to food and activities. Also, we had a clear view of the july 4th fireworks right by the road-side end of the property, it was beautiful. Living earth systems farm stand was just a few minutes away, they had delicious mangoes and papaya, star fruits and cane juice. We would love to be back here and would also strongly recommend it to others.
We really loved our stay here. If you like to surf, this is the spot!! The unit was dated but in good condition. Only one gripe about the unit was the portable A/C units, which are rather loud all through the night but acceptable since that was disclosed in the listing. The location makes any negatives with the unit worth the stay here.
Great place for our family vacation.
We were blown away on how beautiful this property was. The pictures don't do this property justice. We enjoyed our stay overall. This place had everything we needed, I mean everything. We shopped at the local market and it just felt like home. I cant wait to come again, this is perfect for a family.

This house has very great views and beach access from the backyard. Community is very well maintained with lots of amenities
We have stayed at at another unit in Puamana and wanted to come back. This unit is in a perfect location! Loved the windows and view of the ocean. Steps away from the beach. Short walk in to town. AC units weren’t all functional, but we made it work with the window units even though they were a little loud. Would 100% come back to this unit.

Puamana 128-1 is a beautiful, bright unit with skylights in a wonderful oceanfront location. However, the wall AC does not work and has been replaced with several loud, large "mobile" units that detract from an otherwise lovely experience.
Great home base while exploring Maui. Right on the water and fun to watch the surfers, sunsets and stars.
