The host was great and we loved the location of the condo and all of the beach gear that came with the place too!
Our family absolutely enjoyed every moment of our stay. We used to be owners at Puamana and there have definitely been some beautiful upgrades in the complex since we were last there. The area is incredible. This was our first time with a 3 1/2 year old so it was a little different then our other visits but enhanced by his joy of life. Anini beach and Hanalei Bay were perfect for him and our family. We had quite a few cooking adventures in the well appointed kitchen and of course every morning we had to day hello to the local chickens and the shy grass. We are already dreaming of our next visit and would be thrilled to stay at Ron and Pam’s condo again.
This was our second stay at Ron & Pam's home and hopefully not our last. As with our previous stay, everything was perfect for our family. Our youngest two enjoyed the addition of the new bed in the loft area as they were expecting the futon like our last visit. Everything was very clean and comfortable, kitchen and beach items were great. We love the location in Princeville as we spend quite a bit of time at Hanalei and North Shore in general. Very quiet community. (except for the chickens haha) We reached out to the owners once and received a response very quickly. This is a perfect family getaway when we are on Kaua'i visiting family. Thanks again Ron & Pam, we hope to stay with you again!

Wonderful hosts, very amazing location, and everything we needed for our family. All the local beaches were great for snorkeling and surfing.
This is a lovely condo. Our grown children used the loft, while we occupied the downstairs bedroom. There were enough beds to comfortably accommodate all 6 of us. The kitchen is modern with good quality stainless steel appliances, washer and drier. Sitting arrangement and TV with a good selection of channels in the living room were nice to spend evenings . The entire condo offers the island vibes with the colorful artwork. We could find everything we needed. The hosts Ron and Pam are friendly and attentive, they go out of their way to welcome and accommodate their guests. They keep in touch and are available to respond to any need (we didn't have any, but we knew that we could call right away). The Princeville neighborhood is so beautiful, exceptionally clean, with houses surrounded with lush greenery. It's amazing how rich the nature is in the North of Kauai, the views are unforgettable, like a dream. All the best beaches are within a short drive from the condo, with the farthest one - Ha'ena/Tunnels - being 30 min away. We loved all of them: Hanalei, Anini, and the local one at the end of a trail accessible by walking from the condo. We also walked to Queen's Bath, swam there and took pictures, it's doable if you like walking (the parking is very limited). It was easy for us to drive to the South: Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast (by a boat out of Port Allen), Poipu Beach. We bought some of our food at Princeville Shopping Center. We highly recommend this condo!
Condo was perfect. Nice updated kitchen worked great for some home cooked meals to avoid eating out all the time. Zero issues, and was very happy with the value!
The place was nice and roomy for our party of 5. The surrounding area was nice and everything was easy access to get to. We didn't try the pool but the beaches were very nice. We loved the back patio for hanging out there in the mornings and evenings. We liked all the beach accessories that we could use. Kauai is very beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again next time we come visit the island.
It is a nice place and good location excellent response by owner. I usually don’t give reviews, but everything was good. The place really needs a good cleaning.
Three friends meet annually for a week long vacation. We loved our time spent on Kauai! Our condo in Princeville was well situated to explore the whole island. We enjoyed several beaches, many fine meals, a botanical garden tour, a coffee plantation tour, and explored a lot in our own. I highly recommend it!

We really loved our stay at Ron and Pam’s place. It was clean and as described. Location is perfect to explore the North Shore and walking distance to a great beach. Rom and Pam were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful.
Ron and Pam's condo is our new favorite place on Kauai. Having stayed in numerous places around the island over the years, this condo tops the list! Proximity to north island attractions is amazing. The place was very quiet and a laid back type of vibe. All amenities you could ever need for a family were there waiting for us! Comfy beds, a well appointed kitchen and very comfortable sofas were great for lounging and reading at 4am when mainland jetlag was kicking in!
We had the best time and loved staying here! With two little ones, it’s always so nice when the place has that in mind. Ron and Pam made sure we were set with a high chair, crib, beach toys, and more. Just the sweetest touch for making our stay extra smooth and enjoyable as a family. Lovely community and walkable to beach and playground. We will definitely be back!
Perfect spot. Quiet. Great location. Close to some beautiful beaches. Condo was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Ron, the host was very accommodating and answered any questions I had in a very timely manner. Would definitely go back again.
My husband and i with 3 adult children stayed at Ron and Pams condo in Princeville and we had a lovely time. It was clean and well provisioned. We cooked our breakfast daily as well as a few dinners and didn't have any trouble with the kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable and it was never overly hot at any time inside. We appreciated the beach supplies, as well! Thank you for the great time on Kauai!.
We loved staying here. Wonderful house for our family of 5. So close to the Westin and 4 minutes to princeville. Amazing shower pressure.
This home gave us a taste of island living, from the beautiful landscaping, to the perfect views out each window, to the lovely breeze that kept the house fresh & comfortable. Modern amenities make it so much better than a hotel. Perfection!
This place is in a great location in princeville just next to the Westin and a private beach.
Pros:
- Beds were comfortable
- kitchen is renovated
- owner provides everything you’d need for the beach which was really nice like umbrellas and snorkel gear
- the owner is very nice and can make up the extra futon as a comfortable bed
Cons:
- not a true two bedroom. It is a one bedroom with a loft and a master bed in the loft. This was a problem for us as we paid two bedroom prices and invited non-family thinking there were doors that close. No real privacy in the loft.
- roosters / noise : since there is no ac you have to keep every window and door open. The roosters woke us up every morning between 3-5 am. You will not sleep in even if you’re a heavy sleeper. I would consider getting an ac unit due to this.
We spent a week here and it was great. Close to many great beaches and sights. House is very comfortable and inviting. Ron was a great host, a fan wasnt working and he fixed it very quickly. Highly reccomend this rental we really enjoyed our stay.

Very easy to find and in a great location in Princeville. House is roomy and perfect for a family of 4. Beds are super comfy. There's a path to Anini Beach that is very convenient. The guide book was great and came in handy. Parking is super easy as well. Aloha to Ron and Pam for sharing your home!

We had a great time at this lovely house! Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of; we were welcomed with sparkling cleanliness and comfortable beds. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including beach towels and boogie boards for the kids. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Ron and Pam, we would love to stay again!
The property had plenty of room. We appreciated the beach gear! It was nice to have a well appointed kitchen and a grill for times when we didn't feel like going out to eat. With doors open and fans on it was cool.
It was a little hard to find in the dark the first night but if you follow the host's directions (not Google maps) you'll be fine.
Property is as advertised. Spacious, clean, and in a lovely location. Hosts are great to deal with as well.
I would definitely stay here again.
