Wonderful quiet place as advertised. Great whale watching from the Lani. Everything in and out of the condo we needed and nice small pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful relaxing place! We loved staying here! Barbecuing a lot of our meals by the pool because it’s so crowded on the island you can’t get a reservation anywhere, so we stayed in and used they’re amazing kitchen. Lovely cross breeze through the condo. The view of the ocean is Indian! Loved staying here so much!

This unit had a very nice view, a decent kitchen, and a nice location. The gas grills we're great, the pool small very nice and not crowded. My only complaint was that the back room was extremely loud at night with considerable road and parking lot noise.
The unit could you some updates the TV in the downstairs bedroom did not work, there was no air-conditioning, as stated in the unit description online.
This is a wonderful property. Kept very clean and well supplied in the kitchen. We truly enjoyed the turtles; there was plenty of equipment to snorkel with and boogie boards to float on while snorkeling. The view from the balcony was amazing. Hearing the ocean while feeling the breeze allowed for a very nice sleepIng. I would recommend this for adults. They are very strict rules on quiet hours 10pm to 8. This is not the party condo this is the quiet relaxing condo ;the neighbors do report loudness and you will get a knock on the door by the resident manager if one does not comply. I was telling a story at 10:10pm oops, I was talking too loud. The rest of the trip I felt as if I could not speak until 8 AM in the morning the walls of the condo are very thin . If you have a voice that carries like mine, beware! Put your whisper voice on and play quietly.
Polynesian Shores is a beautifully situated condominium just a few miles north of Lahaina. Michael and Natasha's "Pineapple Grove"unit is furnished with everything you would ever need. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of beach toys, towels, mats, and snorkeling gear for your use. Easy one mile walk to the north and south take you to a microbrewery, grower's market, seafood deli/market, playground, and supermarket (Times) where the locals shop. Thank you, Natasha and Michael, for your hospitality.

The location of this condo is perfect for snorkeling or just relaxing on the lovely quaint sandy beach. Thank you for our very comfortable stay! Your condo provided more than I expected, from spectacular views to comfortable furnishings and lots of kitchenware, and even beach chairs. Thank you for providing all of the extra comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again!
I grew up on Oahu, and my family and I now live in Colorado. We really had a GREAT, relaxing stay at this ocean front property. Whether you are a former kamaaina (Hawaii resident) or a first time visitory to Hawaii/Maui, this is the ultimate way to experience paradise!
Great view of Molokai right of the balcony, beautiful sunsets amongst coconut trees, turtles right off the shore each morning, whales passing by (we were there in January), friendly visitors staying in the condo complex, great pool with gas grill for cooking, diverse beaches nearby, plenty of boogey boards and snorkeling gear in the condo to use at beaches close by, cross ventilation in the condo to enjoy the Maui trade winds.
The owners were very responsive before, during and after our stay and the local property manager was helpful about things to do on maui and questions about the condo.
Nice thing about a condo vs. getting a hotel is you can cook your own food, which is healthier and less expensive, and you can take advantage of locally grown tropical fruit and fresh caugh Hawaii fish, and you have more space to sprawl out.
We look forward to staying here again some day. I loved reliving my Hawaii youth and telling visitors about Maui. Aloha and Ahui Ho.
Thank you so much for the use of your condo at Polynesian Shores from December 21 through 31. Your condo had everything we wanted and needed to make our stay comfortable and fun - starting with the beautiful view and going on from there to the well-appointed kitchen and plush bath towels to the snorkeling equipment and beach chairs! The location in Honokowai was just perfect for us. We also really enjoyed the vibe at Polynesian Shores - a combination of laid-back year-round residents and not-too-boisterous renters. It made for a peaceful, family-oriented feeling on what was most likely the busiest time of the year in Maui. Your property manager, Victor, was such a nice man -- always helpful and available.
