We had a great time here! Beautiful location! Loved the whale watching from the patio and sleeping to the sound of the waves! Sunsets were amazing too!
Property was a beautiful location for an enjoyable visit to Kauai. Renters with mobility issues should be aware of the periodic parking challenges, distance from parking to unit (toting luggage and groceries), lack of stairs to bedrooms, and stairs to the pool. And while the views from the lanai are spectacular, for those who prefer shade to sun, there is nonstop sun on the lanai from sunrise to sunset. And from a safety perspective, it would be helpful to have a hand grip in the showers and a hand rail for the three steps from the entry hallway to the kitchen and living room.
Our group had a great time. Location was walking distance to restaurants, beach and rentals. View was amazing from the patio, very clean and well maintained.

We had such a great time here! Great location with a beautiful 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of space with a full bath in each upstairs bedroom and another half bath downstairs. Beautifully furnished and very clean and well stocked with necessities. Absolutely stunning views from the walk out ground floor patio. I hope we can go back sometime.
The 2 bed / 2 bath condo had plenty of space for two couples with lovely ocean views from the primary suite & living room. The unit was well stocked with all the necessities (towels, beach chairs, toiletries and kitchen spices etc). We enjoyed the seeing humpbacks, hearing the sounds of the waves, and the coolness of fresh ocean breezes from the lanai.
Parker was a great host, location was convenient, views were amazing! Would stay here again and would highly recommend.

This is the perfect location to walk to poipu beach in the mornings to see the turtles. Clean condo stocked with all the necessities. Quiet and peaceful condo complex. Condo owners get back to you right away if you have any questions.
This location is beautiful, clean, and well-located. We slept to the sound of roaring waves, and everything in Poipu and the south shore of Kauai was close and easily accessible.
The kitchen has everything you could need (like a coffee grinder to grind your coffee beans or a washing machine to clean your towels), and the pool is likewise right on the ocean cliffs, granting you sublime views of the water and sunset.
Everything is clean and well maintained and organized. Only thing that could be better is the TV in the upstairs bedroom has an issue with its display (it's ok-the downstairs tv is bigger and better and you shouldn't be watching tv on vacation anyway). The property manager also never replied to my email asking where the laundry detergent was, but we eventually found it anyways.
Would recommend, and would return. Thank you.
From a comfort and view aspect, you won't find a better place to stay on kauai.
First timers to this island. Parker made sure I was informed about everything before our arrival. His communication is 5 stars. We loved the condo instantly, the view, wow what can you say but incredible! I saw a whale and pods of dolphins right out the window! Sea turtles constantly swimming in the tide right in front of you! The waves crashing into the rocks, with huge spray was so cool! Poipu beach is a 10 minute walk away. Nicely stocked kitchen, enough paper towels and toilet paper for our entire stay. Beach chairs and towels to use. Pool is really nice, used it a few times. Beds are comfy and everything worked well (all appliances) The AC was good, plenty of towels. I loved staying here. We had neighbors on both sides of us and really couldn't hear them talking unless they were outside on their patio which is right next to ours without much privacy to divide them. We were pleased with our stay at Poipu Shores and definitely would come again. The only thing I would recommend is a designated parking spot for each condo. I think it would be so much easier!
In the day of check in we received notice that there was an issue with our oven and the lower a/c unit. They said not to worry all would be fixed in a day or so. We got this specific unit as I have bad arthritis and the humidity is harsh to me. On the day before checkout we were told it wouldn’t be fixed before we left. We weren’t offered any other accommodations or anything for our inconvenience. When we mentioned how important A/c was in messages to the host there was no reply. Overall the place was nice. Fairly clean. Wonderful view of the turtles. But I was uncomfortable and limited in where I could spend time due to this issue. I wish they would have been more accommodating.
This was a spectacular view- surfers, turtles, whales. Worked fine for the family, albeit a little crowded with just one bedroom , two adults and two little boys. But everyone was very happy with it . Only problem- it is an adult pool and so you might not be happy there with kids who could not swim well. Certainly toddlers could be a problem with safety at the pool- but the waters edge of sand was an easy place to be with supervision.
Loved hearing the ocean waves all night, having breakfasts and sunset drinks on the back patio, and being able to walk to Poipu beach. (Note, you can't swim in the ocean directly outside the unit; not an issue for us but just FYI.) Having the laundry machines in the unit was terrific, and, although parking spots are narrow, we were always able to find a spot even though it was Christmas week and crowded making parking everywhere else a pain. The beds were comfortable. The location of the unit is terrific, and we loved having the beach towels and beach chairs.
We were surprised and disappointed to find that the walls of the bedrooms and bathrooms do not go all the way up; there are openings at the top of each wall so that there is no privacy; we could hear each other use bathrooms, talk on phones, etc. (We could also hear the neighbors next door talk when we were trying to sleep in the morning but I think that was just one particularly loud neighbor.) We also had a little bit of bad luck in that the pool heater was on the fritz so we never found it warm enough to use.
But other than that, the home was as advertised and well-cleaned. Parker was responsive and helpful. Other reviewers had talked about the lock being broken on the downstairs sliding glass door, but I agree with Parker that the use of a pipe to block the door from being able to be opened makes that not an issue in terms of security. We felt totally safe in the unit.
We had a fantastic experience staying at this location, the view is unbelievable and accommodations were as tidy as they were comfortable.
When we did have an issue, Parker was quick to reply and find a solution.

Been to Kauai many times and this is one of my top 5 places to stay. Hearing the waves crash, the sea turtles below and the pool right above the ocean- just beautiful! Had a couple of mishaps with the condo but who cares? Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is all about the location and views. It’s magical to be able to step right outside into paradise. Every morning I was revived with its beauty while enjoying Kauai Coffee. The condo itself was clean, nice and accommodating for my family. But again… it’s the views you stay there for and they are priceless.
