Absolutely beautiful property and location! Very clean and well equipped. Would definitely love to stay there again!
Our stay was a complete slice of Heaven. We have been blessed to travel many places in the world and Kuhio Shores is magical. The setting is transcendent, the views expansive, the accommodation truly wonderful.The comfort of the condo was delightfully unexpected. The King bed was a gift, the kitchen perfectly appointed. Any questions, Karen answered promptly. Sitting out on the lanai just at the water’s edge…grounding on the grass at sunrise…watching the surfers, sea turtles, dolphins, flying fish & rainbows The location is close to markets and restaurants. Paul enjoyed 3 scuba dives while I stayed back and read books, completed a puzzle, prepared meals and fell in love with this serene setting.We look forward to returning

Loved having the ocean 30 feet away. Sitting on the patio watching the morning surfers, and beautiful evening sunsets. A short walk to a snorkeling beach right next door.Great accomodations.
The condo was had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The best part of our time there was sitting on the lanai in the morning and evening looking at the water and all the action; spouting whales in the distance, sea turtles tumbling in the water just off the grass and surfers of all ages. So relaxing. The only minor issue was with the lanai screen door which was very difficult to open and close. Karen said she would report this to the onsite manager, but he never came by. I expect this type of thing is a constant challenge with all the moisture and hard to keep working properly. All in all a wonderful stay, thank you Karen.
We have stayed at the Kuhio Shores once before, but in a condo that hadn’t been updated. Karen’s is updated and stylish. The big draw is the magnificent view, so close to the ocean. You could tell Karen is a professional when it comes to rentals. Everything is neat and organized and she anticipates what a vacationer would need. And the chocolate macadamia nut candies were a big hit.
My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at the condo out of a 10 day vacation and it was our favorite property.
The condo has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked.
It’s located just steps from the ocean and the Beach House restaurant which has amazing food. We saw beautiful sunsets every night.
Communication was easy! We talked about coming back for our anniversary next year.
Karen checked in on us right away and she was so helpful.
This very nice condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. From the well equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed, we felt relaxed and at home here. It even had AC(although the ceiling fans meant we didn’t need it much.
The real reason to stay here, however, is the location and view. You can pull the chairs out into the lawn and watch sunsets and sunrises! Just next door is a small public area the fills up with people to watch but you get it right off your lanai! During daylight hours there are also surfers right there providing great entertainment. Beaches, restaurants, and shopping are all nearby - including the fantastic Old Town Koloa!
The bonus is Karen is a great communicator and very responsive host. We’d rent her place again in a minute!
Stayed here 1st week of October 2024 and it couldn't have been better! Check in/Check out a breeze - the owners were quick to respond on everything. We debated long and hard on 3 different units in Kuhio Shores and so happy we chose this one. To us, the ground floor was the best - being 30 ft from the ocean yet mobile enough to walk to other areas, watching surfers all day, and the best sunset views you can imagine. The unit itself was stocked adequately for us, comfortable bed, solid appliances, etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
From reserving online to walking in the door, the process was seamless. Karen was very helpful and her attention to detail was amazing. We had no trouble finding the condo and WOW….when we walked in the door and saw the spectacular view, we knew we had come upon a jewel. The condo was clean, nicely appointed and the same attention to detail was evident throughout the condo. I can’t say enough positive, glowing things about our first time in Hawaii. We enjoyed every minute. Watching the surfers, the turtles feeding right along the shoreline, sunrises and sunsets from the lawn just a few feet from the patio door….it was all magical. Karen is a superb host. We will return to paradise.
I heard about this place through friends that stayed here and it did not disappoint. We stayed for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute. The location is perfect and allows for easy access to some amazing beaches. The views from the porch were absolutely stunning. The host, Karen, was so great at communicating. We will definitely stay here in the future!
We had the best time! Kauai is stunning! And to be in a place right on the water with turtles and surfers and sunsets, wow! The condo is well equipped and tastefully decorated. We will definitely be back!
Perfect location to watch the surfers, turtles and sunset with a cocktail every evening. Multiple restaurants, beaches and shopping within easy walking distance.
A perfect score, clean, organized, and cannot say enough about the location, views, surfers, turtles. Karen was so gracious in her communication with me. Would 100% stay here again.

We stayed here in 2020 and liked it so much we wanted to stay in the same place again! Love being able to walk right out on the grass and watch sunsets or whales or surfers or just read a book! There is everything you could need in the unit - great Tommy Bahama beach chairs/umbrella, beach towels (although there should be more than 3 regular bath towels/washclothes for a week's stay - and shampoo would be nice!), spices, appliances, etc. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I remember but slept OK anyway. Great TV. Great location to discover the island. Close to Puka dogs and the fabulous Thai food truck, too! No white pineapple to be found on the island this time, tho so that was disappointing but not the fault of Kuhio Shores. :) We'll be back again!
