This condo is the closest to the ocean you can get! The kitchen is well stocked for using and the beach gear closet was awesome. You are central to everything. Could use a few more towels in bathrooms but we made do. C
Nice property, great location
We loved our stay at Kuhio Shores. The oceanfront location is incredible. It was a dream to wake up, open the windows, and sit on the lanai in the morning watching the waves & the surfers. Instant relaxation. Nighttime is also a great time for stargazing. The listing is an accurate description of the condo. We didn’t cook, so cannot comment much on the kitchen, though it is updated & well stocked. The rooms are spacious with working ACs. My preference is for a firmer mattress, but overall, we were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels available. For two adults, the unit was very spacious. The unit has beach amenities and is an easy walk to a nearby beach. The location is great with a lot of eateries and shops nearby. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. I would not hesitate to book this property again.
We love the location of this VRBO. Right on the water and close to mini great restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of TP, paper towels, beach towels, ocean gear, including snorkel stuff, wake surf boards a catching a surfboard even. The binoculars were especially helpful during whale season. I definitely would recommend staying at this VRBO and we will be back.
The accomodations are comfortable and geared to island life. The view is spectacular!! The kitchen has all you need for making memorable meals. Both bathrooms provide the basics and the shower is perfect. Plenty of mirrors and lighting. The only caveat is that the AC is in the bedrooms, not the LR/kitchen. Most days were fine. It would be helpful if there was a curtain in LR to use when the sun shines in. Towels were plentiful along with TP, kleenex, outdoor gear, garbage bags, cleaning supplies and conidments and seasonings in the kitchen along with storage containers. We highly recommend this lovely property.
This condo is right on the ocean and we loved hearing the waves all day long. The hosts set this up with all the supplies we needed: kitchen, cookware, coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs..etc. the AC was lovely in the bedrooms at night. Our family had a wonderful time!
The property was exactly as described, clean, very well stocked and quite comfortable. We definitely will return!
Great location, quiet, unbelievable views, and well equipped. Beds comfortable. Master bath is tiny but adequate. Shared bath is great in comparison. Air conditioning in bedrooms was much appreciated. Would stay there again for sure.
This unit has beautiful, unobstructed views of both sunrise and sunset The layout of the master is a bit odd, with the shower sitting in the bedroom without doors separating, but I did not notice any mugginess when showering while the windows were open. Decor was tasteful and comfortable, would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful views at this beachfront property! Close to amazing snorkeling areas. Chris was very attentive to a maintenance issue that we had. Communication was great and were able to come to a resolution. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at 214 Kuhio shores. So close to the ocean, fun to listen to the waves!
We enjoyed watching the whales & turtles from our balcony. Turn your head slightly and watch surfers. Finally in the evening you have the best views of the sunset on the whole island. Sit at the dining table and all of these views are available, also.
The owners were great to communicate with.
We appreciated this because our old VRBO account was lost when VRBO changed to the One Key reward system.
In some small ways, a few updates would be nice.
The refrigerator works well but some of the gaskets needs repair, so replacement of the refrigerator would be good.
We would really recommend this place as the price & location is great!

The condo is in a great spot. The ocean views were amazing. The place is a little dated in some ways that I did not expect in this price range but overall it was good.
Amazing location—able to view sunrises and sunsets every day, overlooking the water, with beaches and restaurants close by. Quiet condo association, communal laundry area but need quarters to operate. Overall great stay, can’t wait to come back!

Great location, right on the ocean and also well situated for access to Poipu. Well stocked with everything we could need, especially for the beach. Chris was easy to get in touch with and very responsive both before and during our stay. We had a wonderful time.

I rarely give ANYTHING/ANYONE 5☆ but I can't think of ANYTHING that needed improved... nothing. Condo views are bar none THE BEST! The ocean is loud (good thing) can't hear any chickens in the am. Bed was comfortable. We WILL be back!

We could not stay in this property. the stench was so foul that we could not breathe. at the same time, there was construction, scaffolding right outside our window, and constant hammering and Drilling all day long.
We did not stay overnight. We were afraid of an acute asthma attack.
Owner was extremely uncooperative in trying to assist us. Owner's lack of response compounded the problem.
They were notified by building management of construction, but THEY LIED to us and pretended not to know.
Do not stay here!!!!

It was very well-appointed, had amazing views of the ocean and sunsets, and was in a great location with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. There was beach gear (i.e. chairs, boogie boards, ice chests, etc.) in the condo, which made it extremely convenient to enjoy our time on the many beaches that we explored during our stay. There is great snorkeling right outside of the condo and on the nearby Poipu beach (lots of tropical fish and sea turtles), and we enjoyed watching sea turtles and manta rays swimming by the rocks from our balcony. We even got to watch the turtles come up onto shore at sunset to rest on Poipu beach, which was incredible to see. We would highly recommend this condo to others visiting Kauai!

The apartment had everything we needed with access to beaches and snorkeling within walking distance. There was extra boogie boards and snorkel gear so we didn’t have to rent our own equipment. The view is incredible and we watched the sunset every night. We would definitely stay here again.
