the view was spectacular but way too many steps and a maze to get into unit plus parking was challenging for our big suv.thank goodness we had A/C or could not have handled the heat but wall units are noisy - furniture needs to be cleaned and mattress in lower bedroom is awful! the owners were very attentive and provided great tips - there was broken window upstairs .and carpet needs replaced the unit itself was great for 6 adults just needs updating for the cost and disclose how difficult it is for older folks
Lovely property well equipped and appointed. Absolutely a terrific location Would be excellent overall if not for A/C that did not work well coupled with window which wouldn't close. It left the temperature in living room a bit high at times. Difficult contacting owner because phone number to use for contact in unit was different in email. Some fault on my apart. Owner very nice responsive on phone . I would book again.
This condo was wonderful! The location is breathtaking. Truly magnificant to wake up every morning to the crashing waves and watch the sunset at night. This location is simply STUNNING! The owners thought of everything! From the Keurig coffee in stock, to dish detergent, laundry detergent, and a Brita pitcher were great attention to detail and little conveniences that made is extra nice. I really appreciated a variety of quality wine glasses, the high quality bedding, and the beach chairs and boogie boards for our use. With a quick walk to two different beaches, stunning views, close to golf, shopping, and restaurants, this condo is a perfect place.We often rent VRBOs on vacation and this one STANDS OUT as one of the VERY BEST! If in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here with our 2 adult children (so 4 adults total) for 6 nights. Great location - easy access to several beaches and restaurants. We took advantage of the athletic club - very nice amenity. The bedrooms and living space were comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed (including some spices and cooking oil!) Although the lanai does not have room for a lounge chair, the views are absolutely stunning, and we saw many turtles every day, and we ate our meals and played games at the outdoor table every day. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards were available. There are also two very large coolers, large enough to pack a picnic for a day at the beach. One suggestion we had was it would have been nice to also have a smaller, easy-to-carry cooler for quick trips to the beach. Thanks for a great vacation!
Has a tremendous view with sea turtles every day it has air conditioning, but you really don’t need it once you open the windows and let the breeze come on through
My family of 5 adults spent a wonderful week in this stunning condo on the edge of the Pacific. Unending ocean views of crashing waves, rainbows and sea turtles, spacious and comfortable accommodations and easy communications with hosts.
We loved this condo penthouse ! It’s probably the best one we have ever stayed at in Hawaii! The views alone are to die for so many titles and we saw dolphins. The place is perfect and has good AC we loved sitting on the deck and taking in the ocean. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Kauai :)
This condo was absolutely perfect! Beautiful views, excellent location and having access to the club was great! The property managers were super communicative and everything we needed was right there. We had a great time and absolutely lived it!

The description of this place did not disappoint in real life! The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks right below us, the ocean stretching out in front of massive living room windows, and the Lanai were absolutely stunning. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue trying to get in upon arrival and a couple days later when we continued to have a problem getting in. It didn't like the last 4 digits of my phone number. Once we all got in the same page everything great. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a few things that needed attention but nothing that would affect the quality of our stay. When you have a place Oceanside, especially as close as this place is, there are bound to be issues. Maintenance is nonstop from the salt water. I would rent this place every trip if my family wants to come back to Kauai. Having the plunge pool so close was a real benefit. The Popui Athletic Club really didn't thrill the Grandkids. If they were younger than teenagers,it would have been perfect. Thank you for having such a wonderful place to share! Plenty of room for 2 teenagers and three adults!
We spent five nights in the condo in mid-March and were overjoyed with our choice of this rental. We spent hours out at the table on the balcony, we saw whales and turtles every morning with our coffee, incredible sunsets in the evening with a bottle of wine. I can't believe there is a more spectacular view on the island. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very comfortable and well-appointed, so very nice to have individual A/C controls and plenty of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was terrific, filled with every utensil or dish we needed (a kettle, vegetable peelers, both Keurig and drip-coffeemaker, etc.). Poipu/Koala was the perfect spot on the island to stay, accessible to everything, lovely dining and beaches, especially in winter. And the cherry on top was the terrific communication with the owners, lots of details and outreach which made our stay easy. If we come back to Kauai, we will definitely book another stay here. Don't hesitate, you will be really happy here.
Great property with wonderful views and good location. Kitchen was dated and well worn. The parking was very difficult some evenings and too many steps if you have heavy luggage. Beds and bathrooms were great as was the upstairs bedroom and layout. Overall very comfortable and we would stay there again. We are recommending it to our friends. Aloha and Mahalo!
This was the most beautiful vacation home I have ever seen. I could have spent the entire week just staring out the window: we saw breaching humpback whales, dolphins, sea turtles, kayakers, swimmers, and glorious sunsets. Everything you might need is provided. Poipu Beach and Brenneckes Beach are easy walking distance, where you can use the masks and snorkels, fins, boogie boards, and beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen is well-equipped, the rooms beautiful, the vibe is comfortable, and the owners responsive. 10 out of 10!
I can't even begin to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed our stay at this place. Pretty much from the time we got there to just before we left, if we were there we had the balcony doors open. I loved seeing all the beautiful turtles and listening to the waves come in. We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony and it was such a treat. I loved all their beach goodies for everyone to enjoy. I think we used a lot of them. When we cooked we had everything we needed also. I would recommend this place to everyone. I would absolutely come again and again.
We had an amazing week at this beautiful property. Check in was seamless, parking was easy. It looks like a fairly crowded condo area, but once you get inside the unit you feel like you are far from any other people. I never heard a single neighbor during our stay. The view is the very best part, we spent so much time just watching and listening to the waves crash. So many turtles swimming right outside every day, beautiful sunsets. You can’t see any other condos/balconies from the patio, it just feels like you and the ocean. Easy walk or drive to Poipu beach, went several times.
Kitchen is very well stocked. Comfortable beds and furniture, great to have laundry. Master bath huge with a big soaking tub, good water pressure in the shower. Plenty of towels/linens. We were there during the Olympics and enjoyed watching in the evenings on the giant TV upstairs. Used the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc many times. My 9 year old’s favorite was the athletic club just down the road that you get access to. The pool there is awesome for kids with a waterslide. We spent 2 of our days just relaxing at the club, enjoying food and drinks by the pool, which were tasty and pretty reasonably priced. Not overly crowded. This was perfect for the last day. Checkout at 10, and flight not until evening, so we hung out at athletic club for the day, and used the nice showers there to get cleaned up before heading to airport.

Had some trouble with a window which made the condo stay pretty humid throughout our stay. The views were UNBELIEVABLE and worth the $. With that said, I would not return to this property.
This is an amazing way to experience Kauai. The view, crashing waves and turtle activity made the deck a wonderful place to spend time! We all enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening meals on the deck.
The location is ideal being walking distance to many beach options and we loved being able to easily access so many beautiful sites and activities.
The lay-out of the condo is terrific with everyone having great bedroom spaces as well as good places to hangout together.

Excellent location and an owner who makes a concerted effort to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Note that, for anyone who has difficulty with stairs: the unit is on the top floor but there isn’t an elevator. To reach the unit from the parking garage requires traversing 45-60 stair steps, depending on where you park, both up and down.
Unit is updated and very clean. Nice bathrooms, a kitchen with good appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker (pods provided). Everything needed to cook. Plenty of utensils, cups, and glasses.
The complex is extremely quiet. The showers have good water pressure, and the owner provides an abundance of plush towels, including beach towels. There are no vanities in the bathrooms, and if one is needed, the reader should bring a vanity mirror. Beds are comfortable (we like firmer mattresses, nothing out of the ordinary). Plenty of pillows, all good quality. Bedrooms (and the master bath) have overhead fans. Each bedroom has its own in-wall (not window) HVAC unit and individual thermostats. The living room area also has an overhead fan and in-wall HVAC unit.
We saw sea turtles from the balcony. There isn’t a sand beach, but there is a large public beach, which a monk seal uses for daily naps, that can be reached via an 0.8-mile paved path.
Nearby are a supermarket and numerous restaurants, both casual and upscale, within short driving distance.
Highly recommended.
This property was EVERYTHING! Very well appointed, BEAUTIFUL views! The only thing I would recommend (this isn't a ding on the owners - its just how the property was built)- if you rent a vehicle- make it an SUV- we had a Camaro and it would rub on the bottom of the drive way when we would leave. The owners were very specific (which I LOVE!). Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again!
We particularly enjoyed the ocean sound, view, whale watching, turtle watching and walking options. Yes, there are stairs but it was not an issue for us at all. Host, Doug was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. We would definitely come back.

We just returned home after staying here to celebrate our 55th anniversary with family! The property was perfect! We all loved the fabulous view and watching the turtles splashing around right in front of us!
The condo was very well equipped - we especially liked having all the beach items there to use!
And the Starbucks coffee pods were such a nice touch

Property directly overlooks the ocean. Sitting on the sofa, you can see the sea without any other buildings in the way. Plenty of room and the hosts were always very prompt with replies.
One note of caution, if you’re not fond of stairs it may not be the right place as several short flights up and down are required to be navigated from the parking area to the unit.
Overall, very pleased.
