I stay here every year and it is a fabulous property. Everything you need and more while you are in Kauai. Highly recommend!

The property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Was a large and clean space, giving us the space to spread out and enjoy all that Kauai has to offer.
Great communication!!! Our original flight was canceled due to tsunami warnings delaying our plans by 2 nights. Joel was amazing and offered a refund on our first 2 nights. He was also very accommodating for a late check out on our day of departure. One of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. So nice to have everything we needed (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, kitchen gadgets, beach accessories and more). Would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean condo. The location was perfect! It was our first time to stay in Poipu and it was nice that it wasn't too far of a drive to go to the west, east and northern part of Kauai. There were many good places to eat close by. Poipu Beach was within walking distance and the pool is right outside the condo. I highly recommend this place and i would choose to stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—easy access to Poipu Beach, shopping, and great restaurants. We really appreciated the well-stocked beach gear and cart, which made our stay so much more convenient. The host was responsive and check-in was seamless. It was the perfect home base for exploring Kauai, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Joel's condo in the Poipu area of Kauaii. We were a party of 4 adults and one 4 year old, and the location was perfect for us. This condo was the best equipped of any I have rented. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was also plenty of beach equipment to use including chairs, snorkle gear, and a boogie board. Poipu beach is a just a ten minutes away, with a paved path the goes right to the beach.. The condo area is beautifully landscaped, and the pool is just steps away. We hope to come back again!

This is a very nice, very clean and comfortable condo. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a great size, and the kitchen and living area had everything we could have wanted. There's a storage closet on the lanai that was a great surprise with all the chairs, umbrella, cooler, boards, fins, etc. to take to the beach. Getting to the beach is walkable. The beach with the turtles is a quick walk away, and so is the beach with the monk seal who sleeps on the sand. Brenneke's, Puka Dog, and Kalapaki Joe's are all a quick walk. If you weren't planning on renting a car, you could get around Poipu just fine from this location. We found that Uber was available to get to other places on the island especially trips to Koloa a few miles away. We would choose this location to stay again. The host is very nice and offers an exceptional place to stay.
I stayed her in January 2025. Thought husband and daughter were going to join but it ended up being just me. It would’ve been great for 4 people. Very comfy, clean, as pictured/described. Close to beach, restaurants. Good host communication. I would stay here again.
Great location in a busy spot in Poipu, Kauai. Pleasant walk to Beautiful Poipu beaches and hotels such as the Grand Hyatt. The greenway walk connected us to everything we wanted. We loved our stay in this lovely spot on earth.Thank you !

We stayed for 10 nights at this lovely rental, situated perfectly for daily/ nightly walks down to Poipu beach to see the dozens of sea turtles sleeping on the shore or an occasional Hawaiian monk seal. The location is 10/10, and we were able to use the pool that was just steps away from the front door. We had everything we needed at the condo for our extended stay, including enough items in both the bathrooms and kitchen. We found this a perfect rental for our stay in Poipu, would return!
We stayed for a week- great location, kids loved the pool and nearby access to snorkeling. It was everything we could have hoped for!
The property was exactly as it’s presented in the ad. The condo is easily accessible on Poipu Road, within walking distance to the beach to watch the sun go down. The best beach, Poipu, is just down the street to the left and the Grand Hyatt to the right. I would return in a heartbeat. Joel, the owner, was responsive by text.

Great location, quiet, near pool, helpful staff. Super clean, had well stocked kitchen, bathroom and beach equipment. Everything you'd need for a great vacation! Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo was great- clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we wanted. Didn’t have any issues while we were there. Great location too- walking distance to a couple beaches and short drive to restaurants, shopping, excursions, etc. We were thrilled to have access to beach gear after having to rent an umbrella and chairs at the last place we stayed. We would definitely stay here again!
We were not expecting a rental to be as great as this one! Very impressive with the amenities and whole kitchen set up! Bedrooms were great! One exception, only tv in king bedroom. Nice big set in living area but could be repositioned to face kitchen and dining area. Loved the decor and availability of space and location. VRBO is the way to go! Do it with ease with Joel Van Zee’s!!! Mahalo plenty!
We loved our stay; the condo was very spacious and welcoming, near the beach with great boogie boarding and nice snorkeling was only 7 min walk. Near everything needed to enjoy our stay and all the things we could think of to make things easy and enjoyable. Oh and the condo is next to the pool so our kids were very happy about that.
Great central location. Made exploring Kauai much easier than staying on the north side (Hanalei). Walking distance to Poipu beach. Quick drive to Koloa for groceries. I’m a visiting former local & this is an excellent choice for your family vacation
This place was beyond all expectations. Spotless, great location, and super private. While it is a short walk to the beach we ended up driving so we could easily cart all the chairs and umbrella (provided by the host!). Poipu beach has a ton a free public parking. Even in busy days it only took a couple minutes to find a spot. The condo had everything else we could possibly need as well. Even little details, like the Britt’s filtered water in the fridge, were all appreciated. We both agree if we come back to this island we are staying here for sure. Bonus perk: Of all my fave snorkeling adventures over the course of our Hawaiian vacay, Poipu beach was by far the best. I was swimming with a sea turtle on either side of me at one point. Make sure you pack snorkel gear!
Great location, walking distance to Poipu beach. The wagon, beach chairs, cooler, and sand toys were a huge bonus. We are a family of 5 and condo was spacious and super comfortable for all of us. Loved having the pool and hot tub on the property too.
