What an amazing home for our vacation! There was plenty of room and then some, for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Everyone loved the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware we needed. Each bedroom having an en-suite made getting ready for the day a breeze. Communication with the host was very easy, they provided all the information we needed and provided recommendations of things to do. We would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect place for my husband and I and our adult children and their families. We had come for a wedding and the location was near venue. There are beaches, shopping, restaurants near by. We would stay here again.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We had the best time at Poipu House at Makalea! We were a party of 9 and had plenty of room at this beautiful, spacious home. The location is close to beaches, shopping, eateries, golf courses, etc., yet you felt like you were in a secluded getaway. We were so happy to see that the photos of this home lived up to what we experienced when we arrived. We will definitely be staying at Poipu House the next time we have the opportunity to visit Kauai.

Despite an inauspicious beginning when the entrance code we were given didn't work, the rest of our vacation with our two sons and their families was great. Each family had their own space with beds and bathrooms. The common areas were comfortable and adequate for the nine of us. The pool was a big hit as well.

There is an excellent outdoor shower from the main en-suite bathroom. The outdoor areas are wonderful, with lots of seating configurations possible. One of our favorite attributes was the sound of the fountain and beautiful waterfalls providing a background to the singing birds. Everything is well appointed with a lovely island kitchen and plenty of seating for dining and conversation.We have rented a number of houses in the past and have never experience the fantastic responsiveness and determination to make one’s stay as perfect as possible. Kauai Exclusives made the arrival and departure processes incredibly easy. Every inquiry was responded to within 10 minutes and the team on site for any issue within 30 minutes (there were only two issues.Also, Kauai Exclusives concierge, Darshan, was fantastic in helping us to set up a number of excursions.

It was close to many beaches, restaurants, and other amenities on the south shore. The inside of the home was beautiful and cozy and kitchen equipped with all possible cooking needs. The 2 upstairs suites are only accessible from the backyard, which would be great for extended family who want more privacy. The property was clean and orderly. Would love to return to this home in the future.

This home is stunning and is exactly as described in the listing! Our group of 9 had plenty of room to hang out together in the kitchen and living areas and the pool/outside area was incredible! The neighborhood is quiet and it is located in a beautiful part of the island right near the popular Poipu Beach. Great shopping and food nearby as well. Please note that the AC is only in the 4 separate bedrooms (not in the common living areas) and that it only works at night after 7 pm and only if you're "in" the room (it is a smart home)

This house was EVERYTHING we needed it to be and more! Perfect layout for 8 adults. Pool, hot tub, patio were awesome. The check-in/out process was easy and well-communicated. The house was well-appointed and in a great location. All 8 of us agree, we could not have picked a better house!

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the pool was a great feature for the kids. We would totally consider returning to the property in future visits. All around a great vacation rental!
