The location is perfect. Able to walk to the beach and multiple restaurants, short drive from others. Great little kitchenette and large bed, perfect for a couple

The first thing I figured out, is even with hot days in June, this room stayed cool just by using the screen at night and the blinds as needed, which is not much because a canopy of palm trees cover the entire front and patio. I enjoyed meals on the patio, and found everything I needed in the kitchen (and I grilled also) to prepare some fresh local ingredients.
It's a beautiful short walk to the ocean, to multiple beaches, and to a bike rental, and a bar/grill.
The property caretaker was very responsive by text as needed.
Perfect location. Had everything we needed. Loved the thoughtful addition of having beach towels, a cooler and lawn chairs available for our use.
Studio style apartment. Great for two people. 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice and quiet also.
Only complaint was a shower turn valve that was not fastened to the plumbing wall and pulled off, and one floor tile that was busted off when I arrived. Great price, great place, just needs a little attention 😁
The location is great, a short walk to the beach. However, the unit is always damp and has a musty smell when the AC isnt running. Ventilation is poor. There was surface mold on the couch when i arrived.

This studio is in a great location in a quiet, nice neighborhood only about an 8 minute stroll from Poipu Beach. It’s small and clean with a comfy bed and well-equipped kitchen. And manager Dan was always helpful with any questions or issues. If you’re looking for a luxurious, spacious sunny space where you can linger, entertain, and sip mai tais on a deck, this is not the choice for you. But, if like us, you wanted a good, basic, reliable non-hotel base location from which to do many great Kauai activities, this studio is a great grab. Would do it again. Oh, and don’t miss the dusk evening strolls to watch dozens of green turtles come ashore for the evening!
The Beachcomber is a quiet / comfortable studio condo with a kitchenette, closet, bath/shower, and king size bed.
The kitchen is pretty well equipped and the outside grill is just a bonus. We initially thought the refrigerator was not working properly, but we just put too much room temp food in there and it took a while to cool it. It functions fine.
The sliding glass door is a bit of a trick to lock, but it works fine as well.
The property is close [1 block ] to the beach / sunset views and convenient to the airport, grocery, restaurants, etc.
Laundry facilities are excellent and much appreciated.
Warning: If you feed the chickens, they will become your best friends.
The studio is in a great location with an easy stroll to Poipu beach; so if you are going to be out and about all day, this would be a fine, reasonably priced crash pad. But if you are looking for a peaceful respite, I would not recommend. I needed to get some work done during my week stay and almost every day had leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and weed wackers going. For hours (either at this property or neighboring properties). The place is tired and not well kept - light switches fritzed out, coffee maker had mold, pots and pans were stained, bathtub had a hasty paint job to hide the rust. The place is dark and loud. You hear every conversation, shower, and toilet flush from the other vacation units in the building. Access to laundry is a plus and the local treats left in the fridge were a big plus (yum mac nuts!).
It was a cute studio that had everything we ever needed… nice large and comfy bed with fully equipped kitchen and grill. Although we didn’t use any of the appliances it’s definitely nice to have if you want to make your own meals. Studio was actually a decent size for the two of us. They even gave us a nice treat basket with some local products! Place was clean and the location was great! Poipu beach was like 5 min away! This place had Parking on property, AC, beach chairs, beach towels, and laundry room for your comfort!Definitely recommend this place!
So pleasantly surprised! Sweet, comfortable, functional unit. Perfect for 2. Clear entry instructions, convenient parking. Well-appointed, great location. Charming lanai, short walk to a surprisingly great snorkeling area (the protected "baby beach"). We made good use of the beach chairs, cooler & beach towels provided.
The kitchen had everything we needed including the welcome goodies (coffee, cookies, nuts). It would have been helpful to have a few condiments, although with Covid we understand the concern and maybe we should have brought some small packets with us. It was a trade off to buy some in larger quantities then have to waste them (salad dressing, ketchup, mustard, oil, etc.).
Also loved the little building kitty who paid us a few visits since we missed our own.
Overall, a great stay. We'd definitely book again!
Very clean, modern design, comfortable bed. First morning I was awakened at 5:30 with very loud sprinklers for 30 minutes. Couldn't get back to sleep. Caretaker said he would fix that. Next night, there were occupants upstairs (I thought I had a single family unit, turns out to be like a 3plex or 4 plex). The upstaris children woke up at 5 am and were running all around and talking for the rest of the morning! With a wood frame building, this reverberated like a huge drum and once again, I couldn't sleep in and enjoy my wee hours of sleep. For the price paid, I won't go back here again.
