Without a doubt, the best location to say on Kauai. We had the best time at Michael’s condo. The property grounds are absolutely stunning and the lawn in front of the condo is the best place to stargaze. Michael was incredibly welcoming and did everything he could to make our experience the best it could be. I have to say the condo, property, and host exceeded all expectations. Hope to be back soon!
300 mandatory cleaning fee that is not described in the listing. The view is exactly as pictured in the listing. The linens are too. The location is unbeatable on the Kiahuna plantation property. The lanai is perfect for sunrise and sunset, the beach just a few steps away, and everything else you may need is within reach by a short drive.If you’re hoping for an updated, posh, or luxurious place to stay, this is not the place. The comforter on the bed is the same one in the photos that were almost certainly taken at least a decade ago. Like many of the places in Kauai, there is no AC. The fixtures and appliances are similarly outdated.Communication with Michael, the host, was easy and he was very responsive. The staff at the Kiahuna Plantation are also friendly and accommodating.WiFi was good, bed was comfy enough, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals.I would consider staying again, but sincerely hope that the hidden cleaning fee is added to the listing so that others can adequately compare it to other listings.
The Poipu Beach condo was perfect for our visit to Kauai! I was concerned about not having AC, but the breeze in late July was still enough to keep it cool. The pictures definitely don't do the condo justice. It is really open and the ocean view from the deck was amazing. Michael was super accommodating as we were forced to evacuate due to the tsunami warning. Definitely made our trip to Kauia memorable and would stay here again.
Property has an incredible view but is dated and could use a few updates. I loved that the owner provided a mid-week clean which is not something many VRBO properties do so that was a plus. The fan in the living room squeaked so MX came out and it was better for a day then started squeaking again. The mirrors are corroded from the ocean air and could use replacing as it is apparent they have been that way for quite a while. The dishwasher leaked but MX came out immediately and that issue was resolved. The louvers on the windows don't work well. one of the closet doors didn't easily open and the beach chars weren't very nice. Ended up using the ones in my kids unit instead. Also I was looking forward to the sunset view from the patio but realized that only occurs during the winter. Just wish the picture had said "winter sunset view" as I was a tad disappointed. Overall it is a nice unit with a great location and view so a few updates would be a nice additon
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. The view from our unit was incredible, exactly as promised. We enjoyed watching the waves from the lanai during the day, and star gazing at night. The location was also super convenient to everything in Poipu, which we appreciated. We hope to have the opportunity to return to this special place!

Beautifully landscaped grounds and right on the ocean! On site rentals, bbq grills and helpful staff. Sunsets every night and listening to the waves roll in…cannot wait to return. It was everything we hoped it would be.
The views were amazing, loved just walking to the beach in no time with snorkeling and turtles just outside our door. The overall property was well maintained and the beach hut had everything to make an excellent day at the beach. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had.
We picked this property because of the ocean views and location in Poipu. The pictures of the property are accurate- beautiful ocean view and easy access to the beach. We loved it!
We stayed 5 nights in the condo and thoroughly enjoyed the condo. The pictures don’t do this place justice. Beautiful views and great access to the beach. Great restaurants within walking distance and 2 miles away in Kōloa.

We really enjoyed our stay in Poipu. The appartement is an ideal location to explore the south shore & Waimea Canyon. The appartment ist clean, good size for 2 people and with a wonderful seaview. Wifi is great :-). The communication to the host was quick, we even get a late check out for our evening fligth.
The location of this condo and its view are probably the best in Kiahuna Plantation! "Convenient" doesn't do it justice. The location was perfect. Steps away from the great lawn, the beach, and the Castles registration desk - with an amazing view, perfect for morning coffee and for assessing the surf any time of day! The condo has all the amenities one would expect and that you may need during your stay. We are so glad we found this unit and that we had the opportunity to stay here!

Location can't be beat. Beautiful lawn and ocean views. Bed very comfortable. Love the shower. Only negative is the kitchen - very small. Very little counter space for food or prep.
This property is very comfortable and convenient within the Plantation and to wherever you want to go on the island. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay in Michael’s condo. It’s a great location with a wonderful ocean view. The bed is very comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. Michael is a very responsive and accommodating host.
We stayed 3 weeks and absolutely loved the location of this condo. It is well stocked, close parking, with easy beach access. The owner Michael is a gem. He checks in via email to make sure all is going well and is very quick to respond if you need anything. We highly recommend staying here!
