Lovely accommodation with nice lanai for a great family time
Great place to stay for large groups. Bedrooms air-conditioned, main living spaceshas many fansIt works great for island of Kauai.
Perfect home for a family reunion! With 2 homes, lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 washer and dryers, a large veranda and a play field across the street, we all talked about how well this home was for our multigenerational family of grandparents, parents and children. The home is safe, well located, clean, well stocked with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and a membership to the athletic club, which our little ones loved almost as much as the baby beaches nearby. Beds are comfortable. Couldn't recommend more highly!
Our stay was pleasant. The beach club was definitely not walking distance. I expected it to be in the same neighborhood. The amenities at the beach club were great. We played pickleball and enjoyed the food and bar service at the pool and the smaller children enjoyed the waterside. A nice sectional or more comfortable seating in living room would be beneficial. The lanai was enjoyable daily. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Everything we needed! All the kitchen items, lots of towels and beach toys, nice large room for gathering the family together for games. Close enough to all the fun beaches and coffee shops we wanted to visit. Lovely.
We had a great stay at Kathryn’s house. House was same as pictures and reviews. If you read everything you will be prepared. The house is super well equipped. There is A/C in the bedrooms but not in the family spaces. It does get hot in those spaces. Keep bedroom doors closed and you will sleep well at night. Beautiful neighborhood and convenient location. Lanai is perfect for sunsets and rainbows. All the gear in the garage is helpful! Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership is awesome! I would stay here again!

Great for large families
In general, the house was ok. But we didn't like the fact that the owners tried to extra charge us money after other tenants had already lived in the house after us. The living room doesn't have air conditioning
The house fit our family perfectly! It was the best location and we loved the bonus Poipu athletic club access. I wish I would have known before hand, that we could use the club passes on the day we checked out. I ended up buying day passes to a different hotel due to our late flight and early check out!The owner was amazing and easy to work with. The only thing that was difficult was the main living space didn’t have AC. I naturally assumed when it says AC it means the entire house. Only the bedrooms had AC. It was a hot week and we were uncomfortably hot when we gathered at night to hang out. Also the right bedroom in the main house for the first 4 nights was a hot box. The owner was great and got the AC fixed and that room was finally comfortable. That is truly our ONLY complaint. We had the best time and enjoyed making memories in Kauai!
House is beautiful, conveniently located and equipped with everything you need for the beach and a comfortable home for family dinners after a day at the beach.
This home was perfect for 3 families: grandma and grandpa, our children and grandchildren 1, 2,and 3 yrs old and a caregiver. There were plenty of beds appropriate for all of us including the children as well as high chairs, toys, children's plates/ cups and silverware. The garage had a treasure trove of beach toys and beach equipment, with sun umbrellas, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a wide range of meals. It was safe and quiet and close to all sorts of shops, restaurants, and beaches. The clubhouse pool with water slide and gym were enjoyed by everyone in our party! We appreciated having the guest house with 2 bedrooms in such close proximity to the main house. It allowed a little extra privacy for some quiet time for the old folks and caregiver, yet it was very easy to be involved in all of the socializing.
House was perfect for our extended family. Guest house was a wonderful extra! House is fully loaded from dishes, to beach towels, to all the beach gear you need. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, this was a lovely stay. Beds and pillows comfortable. However, the linens are looking a bit tired and the whole place could use a really good decluttering, re-organizing of kitchens including replacement of some of the frying pans as well as replacement of the main door keypad - the front door sticks. Filter in the dryer gets caught with clothes and could be a danger. Both guesthouse and main house could use a different dining table and chairs set up. For a home that sleeps 12 people, it is strange that the dining table only comfortably seats six. The stools around the table in the guest house are too high to be comfortable when seated at the table.Having said that, it wouldn’t take much to bring this property back to a five star in our opinion.
Had a great time. Only downside was that the kitchen/dining room/family room is not air conditioned. That was not explained in The description. Host had beach equipment and access to a club. Very nice.
We had a wonderful time here. The property is so well equipped for everything you need. So many kitchen gadgets. All the beach items you need. A previous reviewer said the property better than its pictures. So true. The great room was so comfortable and spacious for our family time. There were 10 of us including 3 children. Plenty of room. This house was amazing for a big family getaway. The toys in the garage were a big hit with the kids. Easy beach access and shops were within walking distance. Highly reccomend and would consider rebooking again!!
Was a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Communication with the host was great. The location was good. Some of the amenities were a great bonus such as lawn chairs, boogie boards and beach toys for the kids.The kids are still talking about how much fun they had and want to go back. The only negative about our stay was that the advertised hot tub was not working. While that did not ruin our stay it would have been nice to know in advance. We made up for it by going to the beach and visiting the cabana which was another nice amenity. Overall, I would recommend this property and would absolutely stay again.
We are a group of 5 couples visiting Hawaii and found this home perfect for our needs. The home and bedrooms are spacious and very well kept. The location was great for restaurants, beaches, shopping and exploring the island. We would definitely return!!

A quiet neighborhood in Poipu that seems like a short walk to everything. The guest house allows for plenty of space for everyone. Only the bedrooms have air conditioning, but that encourages everyone to spend time on the expansive porch. Perfect home for a large group.
This was an excellent place to stay as a larger group that likes extra space. We found the accommodations very comfortable and spacious. The lanai was a lovely place to eat and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Although there was no AC in the main area the windows and fans made the climate very comfortable when we gathered at the end of the day. Our family (9 adults, 2 infants) absolutely loved this house for its huge common living space, ample supplies for kiddos, and beautiful porches. It was a great location, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved all the beach gear available. The house was clean and spaces were all comfortable. I wish there was whole-house A/C, but was grateful it was at least in the bedrooms.
Such a wonderful week!! The house was fabulous and had all the amenities! We can’t wait to return!
Overall, our stay was great! Our biggest gripe was your advertising 2 Futons, one in the main house and another in the guest house. There were NO futons. We scrambled to figure our sleeping arrangements. One of us were going to sleep in the back of our SUV rental and the other was going to take both cushions from the couches to sleep on that. My brother did find 2 air mattresses in the master bedroom so we were able to use those instead.
The location was outstanding. The beach towels were used each day. We used the porch quite a bit, and was perfect when it would rain. The kitchen was well stocked, although having tupperware/ ziploc bags would have helped us when we had leftovers.
Being so close to the beach, it would have been nice to have bikes or a golf cart to use instead of driving our vehicles. Icemaker didn't make ice... Dishwasher was hard to figure out.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay so much ~ beautiful home as well as landscaping!

There were 4 couples 2 in each house but we socialized in and out of them both. The main house was very well equipped and we shared. Both houses were very comfortable and spacious. The neighbourhood was very quiet and private. The use of the nearby Althletic Club was a really good bonus.
Although the property itself is beautiful, this did not make up for the issues that we incurred.
Pros: Beautiful and spacious house with guest house, great location & neighborhood
Cons: Some of the amenities did not function properly, no AC in the bathrooms or main living space (only in the bedrooms, which you are instructed to leave the doors closed when AC is on), large ceiling fans with windows open did not suffice to cool the area making it uncomfortable to spend time together as a group in the main living space, all fans/AC’s/Window must be closed and off when not at the home so it is a constant battle to cool the home upon return, ant infestation, inaccurate description of sleeping arrangements, no real time response from owner, unprofessional responses from owner, no accountability taken by owner, resulting in unnecessary back and forth text messages with the owner and much frustration with our group. The property listed 3 futons, to which there were none. Owner stated she does not and never will have futons. We sent the description to her, which she ignored. Owner stated there were 3-4 queen inflatable mattresses, to which there was 1 queen and 2 thin twins. The iron did not work, so we were unable to press our clothes for the wedding. The owner responded by mentioning local stores we could have purchased one at. There was a major ant infestation, which we of course took care of, and the owner responded to our concern the next day. No real time assistance at all.
The 2 houses were great. We had 2 Gma's ,4 kids, 8 grandkids. Ages ranged from 71 to 8. All loved the place. Kitchens had everything that you would have at home, even a rice cooker. Fed all with plenty of room
Our family group of 9 stayed here and loved it. Great house and great location.
