Very convenient to all areas of the island.
Kapa'a is a wonderful base to visit points on the island to both the North and the South. This spot is well-located and walkable to groceries and restaurants. I was really happy with the folks from Garden Island properties, who were very responsive and acted promptly to resolve a couple of issues that arose during our stay. Thumbs up!

This little condo was perfect! It was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, and clean, comfortable bed and living area. It’s in a great location in Kapaa, close to a really beautiful beach and shopping and restaurants. We would definitely rent here again. We had a really good time.!
Stayed here for 8 days and was the perfect stay. Very nice location and room, would definitely book again! Lots of things to do and places to eat nearby.

This is a really ideal location, with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance and easy drives to many great beaches and places to visit. The condo was very clean and had well thought out amenities, with plenty of kitchenware, and beach items. I cooked there every night in the full kitchen, and appreciated the accessible bathroom. Visitors might want to know that Plantation Hale is undergoing a lot of infrastructure work as well as remodeling of units close to mine; we had a few days of water shut offs lasting a few hours, and intermittent noise from construction. Garden Island Properties staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone as an easy and enjoyable home base for exploring the island.
Our check in was hassle free, we walked in to an already cooled room. Condo was clean, it felt like a home away from home, kitchen had all i needed to make our stay even better. I like to cook our own food, even on vacation . The price was decent considering it was during peak time. Thank you
The apt was exactly as pictured. Had everything we needed. The beach chairs were a plusIt was clean and excellent customer service. We liked it being in the middle of Island, easy to go north and south.

Location was great, walking distance to the beach and to the plaza with restaurant and some shopping. Check in process smooth, amenities in room were great, beach towels, chairs, ambarella and a small cooler. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the bathroom needed more attention. One of the curtain clips was broken, the shower head seem very rusty like it hadn't been deep clean in a while.
perfect location for jumping off around the island during the day and relaxing and having all the necessary stuff for nights and mornings. great pools, bbq, and all the right amenities.

Came to Kaua’i for my son’s basketball tournament. The room was affordable compared to other places around and I thought it was worth the price for sure. It’s a cute little spot filled with pretty much all we needed . The premises was nice and clean all around. Right across the street of the parking area was a path to get to the beautiful beach that you could walk for miles. I also loved that the laundry room was literally right next door to this unit making it extra convenient especially for us since we had to wash my son’s jersey every day I did have to download an app that was super convenient to make payment and let me know when the wash was done. I seen other reviews about the traffic noise but to be honest we could barely hear to at all. It was not a bother to us one bit we never lost any sleep over it . We did have 2 boys that had to use the pull out bed in the living room which the mattress wasn’t so great but I find most pull out beds are all the same if we had a foam mattress to put on it or something would have been better but the boys are young they were just happy not to be in the ground. Other than that this unit was clean and enjoyable and the premises was also clean , quite and safe. I will definitely be back here on my next visit and would recommend this unit to my friends & family who plan on visiting Kaua’i . Thank you for sharing your hale with us to enjoy

This is a nice place for a Kauai stay. It is located about midway between Honolei (sp) and Waimea canyon so you have good access to the entire island. The room was nice although the couch was not the most comforyable to sit on. there is a lot of traffic noise from the highway but if really did not take long to get used to it. We never heard anything at night, The unit is pretty well equiped. It has everything needed for casual cooking. Also, if you stay there be sure to check out the Coconut marketplace just south of you. Wonderful place and lots of food options.
We appreciated how well appointed and well equipped G5 is. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. Loved the decor and quality furnishings, close access to walking path, marketplace, and good restaurants. Especially glad to have Bluetooth speaker, which really helped disguise the traffic noise. Our only complaint- we like to sit outside on the lanai and enjoy the birds, gardens, sunsets, etc. This isn’t possible at G5 due to the proximity of the highway and very loud traffic. For the those who are busy all day exploring the island, this wouldn’t be a problem. But if you’re looking for a peaceful and serene Hawaiian getaway, this might not be for you.
Likes:
Great central location. Walkable to a lot of eateries. Close parking. Unit has a cooler, chairs and other items available to use. Great communication when needed. Easy check in and out process.
Dislikes:
Shower curtain did not close and water spilled outside the shower. Bathroom did not have extra shower mat. Paying additional cleaning fee however having to make sure you swept prior to check out as well as placing all used towels in bathroom and taking all trash out and dumping in outside trash bin.
It was a lovely suite/unit, very clean and super quiet! It was also about a 6 minute walk to the beach but the waves were a bit too aggressive to swim, so we drove to much better and more calm beaches which was a 30 minute drive.
There was a market within walking distance, and an outlet with clothing stores and restaurants next to the market. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that there was even a Lū'au at the Sheraton which was like a 5 minute walk from us!
We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time there. The location was very convenient to explore the entire island. The unit was well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Plenty of towels, beach chair, drying rack, cooler etc. Definitely recommend to others.
