Such a sweet area to stay in. Close to all the good local spots! It felt like home away from home.
Beautiful, clean, spacious house that has very comfortably accommodated 7 ppl. It has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Kitchen is fully equipped with essentials. Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc are available for use. AC in every room is amazing and provide great noise reduction as the roosters will wake you up bright and early. Very limited outside space (no backyard to sit or hang out at night).
Easy and smooth check-in. Felt right at home. The extra beach supplies was amazing! Would definitely book again for our next trip. Beautiful home.
I booked this house for my large group of 14. From the pictures it looked perfect, but as you all know photos can be deceiving. This was not the case in this situation. When we got to the house we were all impressed by the location (minutes from Polynesian Center, 1 hr from Downton Honolulu, 20 minutes from Sunset beach, etc.), and we loved the set up of the rooms. Everyone had space to sleep, and even with 14 people, the place never felt crowded. We often times congregated on the deck of in the upstairs living/dining area, and had plenty of room to maneuver and feel comfortable.
I communicated with the Mgmt a few times before arriving, confirming location/access, but also asking for vacation ideas and shooting itineraries by them for suggestions. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing, and ranks as my best VRBO experience yet.

We were a large family group, ranging in age from 3months to 87years, four generations and there were 11 of us in total. We were difficult to accommodate. WE were very comfortable in the house and appreciated all of the extras provided, like the toddler gate and the two travel cots! Really enjoyed staying in a residential area and walking to the beach! We loved staying on this side of Oahu. Very laid back, authentic and not busy. The private beach was amazing and oftentimes we had it all to ourselves.
We greatly enjoyed our Hawaiian holiday vacation at this property! We were close to tons of local sites and venues and had easy access to a beach that felt like was ours alone! I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the home and the quiet, gated community it was nestled in. We have a family of seven and never felt cramped.. We appreciated the views, space, and kitchen that made cooking daily easy and fun! Would certainly recommend this home to any family and friends looking for a great place to stay while visiting North Shore!
We were a group of 13 (12 adults and a 14 month old) staying in Oahu in the beginning of October. We wanted to stay away from the crowds of Waikiki and found this home in Kahuku to be the best location!
Arriving to the home was pretty seamless, and I was easily able to communicate with Marie the entire trip via text. The home had everything you need for a baby, from a toddler gate, to high chair, stroller, and pack n play. They even had sippy cups and bottle dish soap.
When we realized there weren’t enough bath towels and paper towels, Marie showed us where to locate them in the locked stash in the house. Otherwise the house had everything we needed from toiletries, to different types of sunblock, and bug spray. The kitchen was stocked with condiments and all the cooking appliances you need.
The home had all the streaming services as well.
We had 4 cars there, so it was a little difficult coordinating getting back to the neighborhood with only 2 neighborhood gate remotes, but Marie was quick to find a solution and found a way to give us the code to be able to enter the neighborhood gate anytime.
The private beach was so convenient. We had everything we could need for the beach stocked in the garage so it was a short wagon ride to bring everything to the beach. The beach was a little windy and rough for babies, but it was still excellent to enjoy your own private beach on the island without any crowds.
This is a quiet neighborhood, so we did get a complaint from the neighbors about our patio lights being on after 9pm, but definitely be aware before you stay here to respect the neighbors.
We would definitely stay here again! Being one of the first few renters here always has a few kinks to work out, but communication with Marie was excellent and she made every part of our stay smooth and enjoyable!
We had a great stay on the north shore and the house was a great home base for exploring. Thanks for including things like boogie and paddleboards, coolers, and chairs. it made everything so easy.
My wife, two college age daughters and a family friend recently enjoyed a week at Kahuku Beach House. The Host was great. Before the trip I had a couple of questions and got a quick response. She gave us some suggestions on places to eat in the area and told us about a good hike that was close by. As far as the house goes it’s incredible not to mention the location is great. Especially if your looking to get away from the touristy Waikiki. This is a brand new 5 bedroom house that is totally furnished with everything you will need. The outdoor BBQ grill had never been used. There were 3 brand new boogie boards, two full size paddle boards that have never been used and a new set of snorkeling gear. We used the wagon to take everything across the golf course fairway to our own private beach. There was a day where we were literally the only ones on the beach all day. The outdoor shower came in handy after a day at the beach. There is also a washer and dryer upstairs as well as downstairs. If you want to get out towards the North Shore you can't beat this location. We would defiantly rent the house again if we make it back to Hawaii.
We had a wonderful stay at the Kahuku house. A few minor hiccups because the property is brand new (we were the first guests to stay at the house) but no real problems. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We had more than enough room for the family. The location is superb. It sits next to a golf course , about a five minute walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful and secluded. All the North Shore attractions are minutes away by car. Also, being on the Kahuku side of the North Shore allowed us to avoid most of the crowds on the other side of the North Shore. I recommend this house to anyone with a family who wants to be near the beach and avoid the crowds.
