Pili Mai is an excellent property. We’ve stayed at various Pili Mai properties 6x now. It forces you to explore the island beaches instead of being trapped at a hotel pool. The unit had everything you needed. Well equipped kitchen, proper bedding, towels etc. we rented chairs and sand umbrellas b/c the ones provided in the unit are in need of replacement. Only two issues to be aware of. The coffee maker does NOT turn off automatically. Please be careful and turn off when heading to beach etc. the other weird thing is the airco turning off and on. You will hear a large boom every time. Once we figured it out, it was kinda comical but did startle us the 1rst night. Great unit and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. A

We had a great stay in Kauai. It was clean, well-equipped, and we had ample space. The beach gear was a plus and we recommend this unit.
This condo was everything we could have hoped for. We ate dinner on the back deck every night and enjoyed the breeze. The walk to the ocean is doable and easy. If you prefer to drive it is a very short drive but parking is limited. Condo has all the things you need to take to the beach as well.
Wonderful property overall. No complaints. I would suggest a queen bed instead of two twins in the third room.
We recently stayed with our family of 6 for 8 nights. We had zero issues and it was really well stocked with everything we needed. It was close enough we could walk to the beach if our family split up activities for the day. We appreciated the beach chairs! Would stay again. We never used the pool because we loved the beach so much.
Beautiful place just a few minutes from the beach and shops. We had a great time and found everything we need to have a great time !
After a bad start, we enjoyed our stay.
The problem: I emailed Vacasa asking for an early checkin. They replied that they would email me if an early checkin was possible. At 3:00pm I received an email from Vacasa apologising for the unsatisfactory cleaning. We rushed over thinking that we might have to clean ourselves. On arrival the cleaner was there and knew nothing about the email. She said she needed 20 minutes to finish and gave us towels to head to the pool. My husband and I walked back 20 minutes later, she was driving away but stopped and told us it was ready. We went up and now the supervisor was there, she told us it wasn't ready and called her boss. She gave me the phone to talk to the boss, who was very rude, accused me of arriving early while check in was at 4:00, she said she was going to ask the supervisor to leave and sounded like we were going to be refused entry and would have to find somewhere else. I argued with her over the phone, told her about the email (she said it had nothing to do with her, she was in charge of the cleaners) I told her the cleaner had told us it was ready. Again she got nasty and acused me of entering the unit before it was ready (we had asked the cleaner if we could put our perishables in the fridge, she had said it was okay). Overall, it was a horrible experience, arriving from Kona at 10:30, grocery shopping and getting supplies, receiving the email indicating the unit would not be clean, and in the end, 20 min early!
We loved our stay. The property was as advertised and we’d recommend this property to our friends and family!
We loved Pili Mai 12I! Seven of us stayed there ranging in age from 11 months to 72 years old and the house had everything we needed. It included a well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, a Pack n’Play, beach chairs and cooler, and several boogie boards. We used all of it and loved having meals on the lanai. The pool and hot tub were convenient and nicely maintained. The neighborhood location is close to Poipu beach and easy to get around. We definitely want to return; everyone in our family loved it.
The apartment was the perfect place for our family of 4 (children 5 and 7y old). Equipment for the beach was highly appreciated, and the kitchen had everything you could wish for. However, we did not cook at home since we spent most of our time somewhere outside. Although the bathrooms could have been cleaned better (especially around and in the sinks; all other rooms were perfectly cleaned!), we enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely come back if we ever return to Kaua'i.
Beautiful condo. Excellent location. Spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
One small thing to note…some doors don’t lock (upstairs bathroom, master bedroom). Wonderful stay all in all.
This is a wonderful place to stay. We had 3 teenagers, a 9 year old, grandparents and parents in the group and there was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable and have their own space. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed waking up to the sunsrise, coffee every morning on the lanai and used the kitchen a few nights as well. It was well stocked with a crock pot, rice cooker, and really anything you would need to make meals and drinks. The rooms were clean and stocked with extra blankets and towels and air mattress . There were 5 beach chairs, an umbrella, lots of beach toys and a big cooler. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The house was also in great location as we went all over the island but were so happy to call it home base. We totally recommend Kaloa Zipline! It was the highlight of the trip and only 8 minutes away. Stay here, you won't regret it

Accommodations fit our family of 5 nicely
This condo was perfect for our family of five! It was very clean upon arrival and looked exactly as it does in photos. The condo was quite spacious and the outdoor space was great (when there weren't bugs!). The master bath was nice and large and the walk in closet allowed you to keep your suitcases totally out of the way. The location was great - a quick drive to Poipu beach and the condo was well stocked with chairs and everything you need for the beach. Close to many restaurants and shops as well.
Would definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 12I Pili Mai. The view of the ocean from the lanai was just incredible. The living room furniture was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all of appliances, cookware, utensils and food storage you could desire. Beds/pillows were comfortable. Plenty of clean towels / extra blankets. The management company was responsive. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay in this unit.
The location near the best beach where monk seals and green sea turtles live. Pool was lovely.
