This was our second stay at Gitel's Place & we enjoyed it immensely both times. We love that there is no AC & that there are louvred windows on 3 sides to feel the ocean breeze & hear the waves all the way through the condo. Being on the second floors gives a great view of sunsets & sea life. The turtles feed on the rocks right in front & swim by every day. And this year we even had some sting rays visit. The condo is well equipped and so comfortable. Filip is so communicative & responsive! It really is our favorite place!

This home was absolutely stunning! Felt very private and comfortable. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Easy access to the ocean. With in walking distance to stores and restaurants.
This place was was perfect. The location set you up for so many options for food and activity. The beach was calm enough for our 2 1/2 year to enjoy. I think we spent hours just watching sea turtles swing back and forth between reefs.
Our second stay at the Pikake and just as amazing as the first! Right on the ocean, meals on the lanai while watching the turtles and whales breech, great location to other nearby beaches, shops, restsurants.. just pure heaven!

Loved our stay here. The beach is magical. It was our first time traveling on a plane with our 5 month old and it was perfect here. So many turtles, whales and gorgeous sunsets. Thank you for sharing this space with us

Perfect location, short walk to the park, coffee and some gift shops. Got to enjoy the sea turtles of the lanai everyday! The condo was stocked with everything you need to cook at home. Felt like a home away from home.If you need to contact the owners with questions, they are prompt at responding.
Practically your own private beach. Sea turtles and spinner dolphins, what more could you ask for.
The property is just as is pictured. It was so nice to stay at a smaller condo complex and having a beach just steps from the condo was so wonderful! Turtles would come everyday to eat off the rocks right in front of the condo and several times we saw spinner dolphins. We enjoyed our time there and would certainly stay there again.
We really enjoyed staying at Gitel's Place. I was looking for a quiet alternative to a high rise and found our oasis here. The home is very well organized and everything is labeled for your convenience. We slept like babies to the sound of the surf in our backyard. Speaking of which, it was great to have our own private beach in the backyard to frolic in. The location can't be beat. I waited 50 years to come to Maui and we were both so happy to have found Flipp's place. A perfect size for a couple but it can easily accomodate a child or two. There was really only one night, at the dinner hour, when I felt a little uncomfortable since it was September and there is no AC in the unit. Other than that, we were fine. It was nice having the balcony on the second floor and the stairs are very manageable. No extra fees for parking or management here. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!!
Gitel's Place at the Pikake is an amazing place to stay. The property is beautifully maintained and fully equipped. It's right on the water so we enjoyed the ocean breeze, sounds of the ocean, and easy access to snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing by the water. Being on the second floor corner gives an amazing view! We loved sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view as we relaxed, read, & ate. We saw turtles every day as they fed on & around the rocks right in front of us. Swimming & snorkeling right off our beach was so lovely! Being the corner unit also allows for louvred windows on 3 sides so the condo stays pleasantly cool. We loved that we had fresh air & breezes rather than AC. We were so sad to leave & can't wait to go back.

This place is exceptional! All the pictures and reviews are on point. Nice condo with all the amenities and the location can't be beat. The small stretch of sandy beach right in front was incredible. Saw turtles every day and a Hawaiian monk seal and sea slugs and sea urchins. I swam every day and didn’t have to drive to a beach. It was so convenient and nice. The farmers market was cute and affordable for basic groceries and all the local shops were perfect to buy your souvenirs or book a tour. Please take advantage of all the eateries nearby. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. Filipp was accommodating and worked with us on a late checkout due to our flight being late in the evening. I can’t wait to visit again and stay here.
From enjoying our morning coffee overlooking the ocean to watching the magical sunsets every night, we could not have picked a better place. The location made a great home base while out seeing the sights, and it was perfect for walking downstairs to jump into the ocean for swim or snorkel (amazing fish and sea turtles 20 feet off shore). Also worth noting the place is clean and well stocked, Hopefully, we can make it back soon…

We had an amazing stay. Location was great! Super close to the beach so you could always hear the waves. Condo was well stocked and with the windows open there was always an amazong breeze flowing through the condo. You can sit on the lanai during whale season and see countless whales swimming past and breaching. They even provide binoculars. And Filipp is great to work with. Super responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay and it was perfect for traveling with 2 younger kids. The unit had everything we needed from a pack n' play to a high chair, so we didn't need to bring that stuff with us! The beach was also very kid friendly. The park next door, was easy to walk to and also had a good, calm spot for kids. We grew up staying in Napili and this was a much better spot for young families and was so quiet! We saw a sea turtle one day on the beach and the whales jumping and showing off were non-stop. There was also a well stocked first aid kit, which came in handy when our daughter bonked her head. Filipp was so kind and had great communication! This will be our new spot to stay the next time we come back!
We had a wonderful stay at this clean and safe oceanfront condo. The location is fabulous! The beach is great, better than a pool! From the balcony, we saw whales breaching (condo also has binoculars so that was even better!) and a sea turtle decided to come up on the sandy beach. Condo is well-stocked, has everything you need. We liked all the labels, which keeps things neat and organized. It really is like a home away from home. Ocean breezes kept the condo cool at night, no need for A/C. The tips that Fillip has are great. There are many good eating options within walking distance (food truck park, Papi's Ohana- really good cinnamon rolls, Miss Arepa).
We are beyond grateful to have stayed in this beautiful condo right on the water! The accommodation (and view) could not have been any more spectacular. It was clean, comfortable, and well laid out with the lanai always welcoming us out for coffee, whale/turtle/wave watching, breakfast, lunch and dinner!! The beach being directly below the condo sealed the deal of paradise! We both agree it was the very best ocean front condo we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your home with us:). Perfect location and perfect accommodations. Host stayed in touch in case we needed anything which we didn’t. Beach area was easy to swim in with a grassy area with chairs to relax in. Walked to many restaurants and treats. Watched whales and turtles from the Lanai. Probably the best Vrbo I’ve stayed at. Hope to be back next year!
It was a true joy to stay here! We immediately felt comfortable and at home. As this is an end unit, the breeze coming through is incredible, especially at night (along with the sounds of the ocean!). Having the beach so close was huge - so convenient! We saw whales every day (January) and a turtle decided to come on the beach and take a long nap. Also, Filipp was incredibly responsive and helpful, so overall, we could not have had a better stay!
