The Space:

We want you to feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Our condo is located at Kauhale Makai, “Village by the Sea,” a relaxed oceanfront community set along a charming beach—perfect for taking in Maui’s unforgettable sunsets.

The property features a wide range of amenities, including a spacious pool, a hot tub, an ocean side green space, and several community BBQ areas with picnic tables and evening tiki torches. Pickleball courts are located next door for added recreation. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with swaying palm creating a peaceful, tropical setting. It’s a true slice of paradise with a welcoming, local feel—take a breath and feel the Aloha.

Inside, the condo has been completely renovated from floor to ceiling, with all-new finishes and furnishings. You’ll enjoy cable TV and high-speed WiFi, along with a fully equipped, spacious kitchen featuring new stainless steel appliances, dishware, a blender, and a Keurig coffee maker (with K-cups provided), plus everything you need for cooking or grilling.

The dining area seats four comfortably. In the living room, there’s a cozy sofa sleeper with a pullout queen bed and a 55-inch flat-screen TV. The unit comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The bedroom features a new, comfortable queen-size bed, and a twin floor mattress is available upon request. Extra pillows and linens are provided, including both memory foam and traditional options.

In the large closet, you’ll find fresh, fluffy bath towels, hand towels, face towels, and beach towels. We also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for your island adventures.

The complex offers a convenient on-site laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers (app payment is also available), and parking is included at no additional cost.

The Neighborhood:

Kihei sits at the base of Haleakalā, a sprawling and majestic 10,000-foot volcano, with stunning mountain views throughout the area. The town is lined with miles of beautiful beaches, local dining, and shopping, all within close reach of endless island activities. A fun Hawaii fact—every beach in the state is public, so there’s no such thing as a private beach.

Together with neighboring Wailea, the area offers an abundance of shops, restaurants, and great happy hour spots. Kauhale Makai is conveniently located near several grocery stores, including Safeway, Times Supermarket, and Foodland. If you prefer Costco or Target, you can easily stop by on your way from the airport.

Getting Around:

Most of our guests rent a vehicle to get around, it's the best way to explore Maui. Kihei is close to the airport, about a 15 minute drive.

Other Things to Note:

Our baby essentials are provided through Nokaoi Baby Rentals. Please visit their website at nakoibabyrentals to arrange your rental. You will pay them directly for the rental and they will deliver the item to your unit.

Please be advised that personal package deliveries such as Amazon etc- are not permitted, unless under medical emergency and with advance approval.

Laundry facilities are located throughout the complex and are shared. Payable via app or coins. We provide Tide pods.

Our beach essentials do not include snorkeling gear

The resort is designated within a hotel-zoned district and, as such, will not be impacted by the pending Short-Term Rental (STR) ban currently under consideration.
