We stayed in this condo for 10 nights in mid June 2022. The condo was great. The views from the lanai were awesome and we really enjoyed going out to the beachfront cabana for evening sunsets. The unit was clean and all our needs were met. Only issue was a crying baby next door which disturbed sleep one night due to the bedroom windows backing the outdoor walkway. This was not the owner's fault & just the "luck of the draw". It seems that after a while the parents closed their bedroom window which helped cut the noise a bit. They must have moved the baby to another room because after about an hour, all was good. I realize babies cry and backing to the walkway you will also get other outside noise. Just a minor inconvenience which did not affect our overall great experience.
Check in was really easy. Unit was very well appointed, great view, and amenities. The only complaint I have was saying AC because the small window unit was not big enough to touch the heat. We used the windows for cross ventilation and it was much easier to cool down.
We met several family members in Maui to celebrate an engagement, an 80th birthday and a 30th birthday. We all stayed at your resort and it was perfect! We celebrated with a barbecue one evening at your outdoor grilling area. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen and living area were very nice. Some of the extras that we didn't expect were the portable cooler, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation or place to make priceless family memories!
The condo was just as pictured. We had a wonderful view and the location was very convenient. Although we did not cook any meals, the kitchen had everything we needed. There is not one negative thing I could say about this unit or Papakea. We cannot wait to come back!
The view from the Lanai was gorgeous! We called once because a socket was out in the bedroom and Some parts of the curtain needed to be hung properly. We were so Impressed with the maintenance person That came and took care of everything. Lastly there was a issue with Papakea not allowing any beach equipment on the lanai. I would recommend keeping the beach chairs and umbrellas but finding somewhere to store inside. Mahalo!

The papakea condo J406 was perfect for our family of 5 (mom dad, grandma grandpa, and 9yr old kiddo). We had a great time!
We really enjoyed the location and the unity for our eight days in Maui. The pools, pickle ball and shuffleboard were all big hits with our kids. Would definitely stay here again.
Very clean and well maintained grounds. Family friendly, felt very comfortable and safe. Our unit was exactly as it appeared in the pictures.
