Papakea never disappoints. Beautiful unit with all amenities at a wonderful price. Papakea grounds are fun, welcoming, clean and staff is very friendly. Will definitely return. Aloha!
The condo was exactly what we had envisioned. Very comfortable for a family of 4 and included everything necessary for days at the beach. The staff at the property were extremely friendly and worked constantly to keep the entire property clean! We were stranded at this property during the early days of the terrible fire and the resort staff did everything they could to keep guests informed and as comfortable as possible.
Would give 5 stars if the cleaning was a little better and the TV worked. A
Mostly enjoyed our stay. Papakea had a quiet relaxed atmosphere, well kept grounds and pool areas and friendly, approachable staff. It was nice to have lots of family friendly activities to enjoy. The beach next door was not too busy, sandy at far end with some reef to explore. Kaanapali beach is a short walk away but we chose to drive so we could take beach gear. Close to cafes, healthy food market and groceries. We were pleased with the layout of our condo and water views from the balcony and main bedroom. On the downside, we were disappointed not having beach towels for two days and the challenge to get some after being told there were photos of them sitting on the beds. We were never supplied tea towels and a cooler arrived only after we requested it. Over all we enjoyed our stay but as our group rented other condos and had a comparison I would probably choose a different one next time.

You don't get a better Maui experience - private manicured grass to a sea wall. Sunrises and sunsets beyond spectacular. Snorkeling and beaches and of course pool time!
Nice place in an amazing location! Walking outside and seeing the islands across the ocean every morning was incredible.

Great place to stay for your Maui trip. They have beach towels and beach chairs, the condo is decorated in a great way. My checking in process was not the best, it was kinda of a rude experience and very rushed. The condo itself has AC units in the living room and in the rooms, including fans. It truly feels like a home away from home. The condo doesn't have much of a beach, it's very small. My only issue was that it was not as clean as I would like to receive a place. It is outdated in the bathrooms—but there is hot water with good pressure. Overall, I would stay here again.
We had a great time during our stay at Papakea Resort. The grounds were beautiful and so well kept. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed (the only additional item that would have been nice to have is a small cooler to use during our stay). We loved walking to the boardwalk and spending time at the restaurants and beach. My Perfect Stays was fantastic about communicating, keeping us informed and providing activity information. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely visit again.
