This was a great property! The view was amazing! It had everything that was needed with the exception of a small waste basket in the bathroom .. that would have been more convenient. I would definitely rent this unit again.

We had a great time in Maui and this condo was awesome. Great location; however since there are so many good food places nearby I could have used another flight of stairs. Good ocean view, comfortable king size bed, updated kitchen full of pans, utensils and more. Pools were nice, great for a morning, afternoon or evening swim. Plenty of grills on property if you want to do your own cooking. Walking distance to many great food options. You can see the whales from shore! Bring binoculars if you have them - amazing! We will return to Papakea!
This condo was very clean, had everything we needed. Nice to have A/C to keep the rooms cool. Property was very nice with great ocean views and sunsets from the unit. The only downside for us was the noise from the pool. We couldn't always have a quite dinner or early evening on the lanai. We would definitely stay here again but opt for a ocean front room.
You will not be disappointed by choosing B205 at Papakea Resort. From the lanai alone the views of the pool and the ocean are unbelievable. When we come back next year we will be sure to see if the same room is available. High end furniture and a very comfortable bed gave us the rest and relaxation we were searching for. Well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and beach gear, we ate well, went home with clean clothes and didn't have to rent beach supplies.
Our stay in Papakea was wonderful! Very welcoming, clean, plenty of beach amenities to use, beautiful view of the ocean and the location was fabulous. I will be booking here again in the near future!! Mahalo, Kendra
This was the most amazing place! Clean, comfortable, everything you could need for a great time. Location overlooking the pool, beach and fantastic sunset views. Mellow complex, close to everything, including a great ABC Store right there! Will definitely return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 25th anniversary celebration stay. Everything was perfect!! Appreciated the extras such as ice chest etc. loved the sunset 🌅 views . Absolutely beautiful!!
The condo itself was very well kept and the view from the porch was ideal. Very nice place to spend a few days on Maui. We did see some very small ants running around the counter as soon as we entered the condo though. We were told about that possibility prior to arrivial. It also might be a good idea to tell future tenants about how exactly the air conditioning works though as we spent our first night sweating because the air would not come on. We came to find out that it automatically shuts down as soon as you open the porch door and will not come back on unless the doors are lined up PERFECTLY once they are closed. Had to call maintenance to find that out. Some direction on that quirk prior to arrival would be helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
Pretty disappointing. We were looking forward to a little staycation. Our bed had long dark hairs, sand and crumbs in it. My husband is bald and I have short blonde hair… the black stools were covered with salt and crumbs. Definitely didn't live up to the guaranteed cleaning peace of mind (durning a pandemic) that was posted all over the unit. We eded up sleeping at our house and making sure to strip the bed so the next guest didn't have to sleep in the previous, previous guests dirty sheets. We also brought our own towels and made sure to pile the unit towels so they weren't folded without washing. Pretty sad for us. We were really looking forward to this break after long months of working.
The location was good. The leather of four bar stools was all broken. Called front desk and often got no response. Called three times to ask a vacuum and got nothing. Only after passing the last day for free cancellation, they told me resort had some extra charge
