The view from the patio was breathtaking. We spent both morning and evening enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean. The access to the beachfront from this condo is unbeatable. My family, rented snorkel equipment across the street from the condo (extraordinarily convenient) and snorkeled out in front of the condo many of the 10 days we were in Maui. Our family come from a much cooler climate, and even though the condo did not have AC, many fans were provided for the sleeping areas that kept it comfortable at night.

We spent 2 days in WAILEA first then came to pali maki - snorkel right from the back of condo was good even though it was really windy - close to old Lahaina luau and good food options

The curb appeal of this place is not good. However, the interior of this condo was nice. There is definitely no beach but there is one next door and all over the island so that was not an issue. Since this is located next to a public park/beach, there is always going to be that “noise”. That being said the interior was great. Good size kitchen with all the items to cook. Remember that this is not an air b&b so don’t expect much of anything in the line of seasonings but that was not an issue for us. Wash n dryer in the unit were extremely useful. The view and the sounds of waves crashing were amazing. I was pleasantly surprised the they had a small first aid kit that came in handy. This unit was well stocked with towels, TP, ironing board and iron, soap for dishes and laundry. There is also a lot within walking distance: food trucks/restaurants, coffee shops, souvenirs/shopping, ABC store, grocery store and bars. We would book this place again.

In room washer and dryer. Exterior building and garden area are a bit run down but the unit was updated and very nice, we were pleasantly surprised upon entering! Will definitely be staying again soon!

Location: great beach front property! There are elevators, which made it easy to get to the 4th floor. Great Fish Market across the street! The neighborhood is quiet for the most part. Only encountered issues on the last night with a group of boys/men hanging by the pool/beach area talking loudly at 1am.
Home: Very clean, no smells, provided plenty of towels, and extra toilet paper. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows and extra blanket and sheets if needed. Refrigerator worked properly and ice machine works well.
Room for improvement: I wish there were beach chairs or an umbrella for use during the stay. That was the only thing missing!

Location, location, location!!! If you don't love this location, then you want the higher priced more expensive life style. Honokowai is terrific, busy but not crowded, and close to all the important attractions in West Maui. Paki Maui is literally walking distance to shopping and eating. The condo itself was very comfortable, with no big issues. It took an extra call, but the two twin beds were pushed together to create a second king bed for the other room. The sofa couch needs replacing, as it is old and dingy. If you care where you sleep, you would not want to sleep on it. We didnt have to. The TV was very hard to operate, but that was a lesser concern. The views are outstanding, the kitchen was good, there were fans everywhere, and we slept very well. I would go back to Paki Maui and this unit for sure.
