The ocean view is very minimal, mainly pool view and not to mention the view is blocked by a lot of trees. But the room was basically almost in the middle of the property, and right next to the elevators, ice machine and microwave which made it more convenient. Check in is only at 4pm and there is no early check in. The rooms are as basic as you can get, just the bare necessities. But they did have some kitchen items like a rice cooker, cutting boards, knives, cups, and tupperware which were helpful. In addition to the beach chairs and beach umbrella. Overall it's a beautiful place to stay and we enjoyed being able to stay at a nice resort without having to pay for resort fees. But there's still a mandatory 40 per night parking fee. I did reach out to the property manager due to the water not being hot, and they never responded. But luckily I was able to figure it out myself. Otherwise, the entire staff at the Outirgger were all super friendly and helpful.
Loud room with uncomfortable beds, was ok because we spent so little time there.

We had a wonderful time - great location - loved the pool and the beach. Very peaceful! too! I would recommend bringing shampoo conditioner and body soap. Empty water bottles might also come in handy - the hotel has refill stations.
We had a great time! This was our second stay here and we love it, didn’t want to leave.
Great spot for kids to play. Awesome golf course right next door. Can't go in the water at the beach there, but plenty of other places to do that. Perfectly located to access all parts of the island.
Great place. I got to see the sunrise every morning from the lanai!!! Great location.
The room and property were amazing! Robert was super helpful with great recommendations for things to do around town. The beach and pools were so perfect and the gift shop has everything you could need.
The resort property is beautiful and very quiet. Very quick and easy to get back to your room. Our room was a basic hotel room with double beds, no microwave but a gorgeous view. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Overall we had a great experience. There's some things that are weird about this listing and probably similar ones that I overlooked. First this is just a single room like a hotel. It has two twin beds which is tight but doable. There is no microwave or stove and it seems like there is a legal reason but I don't know what that is. Also this is a privately owned room so if you need cleaning services or new towels you don't talk to the resort but rather the unit owner. He was very responsive and helpful, this is just a weird situation to me. Also, I either missed it or it's not mentioned that there is a $35/day parking fee which is massive. They have plenty of parking for all the units so this is just a money grab, they are not trying to limit parking. They also have valet parking so our daily parking bill was roughly $55/day ($5 tip to the valet each arrival and departure) I'm not complaining, just adding our experience so you know what to expect. The resort is great, very friendly people and the grounds are well maintained. Some stuff is a little dated or worn out, but that's been our experience everywhere in Hawaii. Overall it was a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

All was very pleasant. It would have been helpful to have a microwave in the room. Other than that it was a suitable room for my purposes. The resort was lovely. The valet service was exceptional. It is somewhat of a challenge to leave the resort and enter the highway. But that is manageable.
The property was absolutely magical! The room is as described. I would suggest bringing extra towels if you are staying a week. I did a load of bath towels and it cost $17 with having to dry the towels twice. Machines say $4 but charge you $5. No biggie!! Overall we loved the stay and would love to return one day.
This property is located at a great location, the resort is wonderful and has everything anyone could want. The room itself is very dated, the beds are not the best, the inability to even have a microwave is quite a pain, but there is one located on the opposite side of the resort if you want to go that far to heat up some food, the minimal amount of serving and eating utensils provided by the owner is sad at best and you will need to buy disposable plates, bowls and plastic ware if you plan to eat anything in your room, and if you have more than two people that want to utilize the small table provided you need to bring in chairs from the patio and move a heavy locked utility container that us stored under the only table in the room to do so and there isn't much space to move it to. Other than those few things that people should know about the room was nice enough and we enjoyed our stay at the property.
