If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Security camera details: There is a Ring camera at the front door looking over the front entrance and yard, another camera in the carport viewing the carport and driveway entrance, and two more cameras on the sides of the home viewing the side area of the home.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Upon arrival it looked cleaned. Then I opened the refrigerator and it was crawling with cockroaches! I cleaned them out then proceeded to put food in there and they came back. As I was looking in drawers and cupboards, roaches were crawling everywhere! In the utensil drawer, cupboards and floor. Then I went to check the bedrooms and there were dead roaches on the bed! The master bathroom was loaded w roaches also. I immediately called Vacasa to report the roaches. They told me the property manager would be in touch. Needless to say, we packed everything up and left! I wouldn’t recommend this house or Vacasa properties. I had to call them daily until I got my money back! The house needs fumigated before anyone should stay there!

Overall the trip was great. Location is great. Had an issue with the Wi-Fi, had to contact spectrum and purchase an Ethernet cord to fix it. There is a mouse trap under the bathroom cabinet but need more because there was mouse droppings on the bed and all throughout the house. The mouse was in my luggage and left droppings and also jumped out at me. The bathroom in the master has 100’s of little bugs coming out of the caulk crack. Also the tubs don’t drain. We purchased a snake to get all the hair out but I needs more than I was willing to do. How was cute and location is nice, just needs more attention to detail for customer satisfaction.

Overall experience was fine. We went for family holiday event (which may be different for some other guest's needs). Upon arriving to the house, immediately noticed smoke alarms chirping, dirt and garbage under the couches (again nothing too major) and the next morning broken toaster, which we replaced and left there with the broken one. However what was really frustrating was the oven being broken and no one telling us before renting (found out it was reported months ago and not advertised on the site for missing amenities. $1500 worth of groceries bought in Kona and driven to Hilo side had to be given to family. After 3 days of calls and promised to be relocated, we had to settle with a $300 reimbursement from Vacasa property management and a ninja toaster oven. This oven is seriously for my college daughter dorm room not for family house use. What really got me angry was the overall lack of support from the property management and the owners remarks of “why are they having such issues cooking prime rib in the toaster oven we bought” and sending recipes through property management of cooking prime rib in a similar toaster oven they purchased while we were there (recipe sent call for an attachment not included and utilizing a BBQ). Sorry not going to ruin good prime rib in a bbq 🙄. Again house was fine and our trip was about seeing family for a reunion, just wish they would not have mislead consumer on broken things in house. We took plenty of pics and sanp shots of conv.

Truly felt comfortable and the birds and roosters were so amazing and loved the rain the rainbows
The home is incredible day and night was a different experience of fun.
The heat of the house wasn’t to bad the fans helped so much because at night it cooled off so much
Two negative was the bugs in the kitchen and the front drive way pothole only.
Other than that I wish we could of be renting the house from the owner when I retired. Thank you so much for the opportunity from our family
