Another great stay at Papakea Resort. The place was as described and very clean. Fully furnished kitchen. Papakea is close to several restaurants and food trucks. It has two pools and two hot tubs on location. The place overlooks the pool and 12 hole putting green. Cannot go wrong with this one.

The view is amazing, the unit clean.It is a very quiet place.The grounds at the resort is well.maintained. I like that it has plenty of parking space.We felt very safe while we were at the unit and the resort.The host was very responsive to our questions and request.I would stay again if given the opportunity.Mahalo for a enjoyable stay.Ligaya

We had a lovely time at Papakea. So relaxing and the view is incredible! Property was so clean. Bathroom could use a little updating, but it did the job! We really enjoyed ourselves!

We had a great time staying here. We were in Maui for just a quick trip but found this place to be perfect for what we needed. We used the beach chairs and umbrellas multiple days and really thought it was a great perk to be able to have those and not need to rent any from the different beaches. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night and even saw some whales from the property!
This is our third stay at this unit - and we love it. We had to check in after office hours - and it was made really easy! Great location - great communication - always a joy. See you next time!

Absolutely love the resort. From tennis to pickleball, the resort has lots of activities. The unit itself is also great. It is well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, kitchen utensils and much more. Would highly recommend staying here.
Need a home base for 4 days before checking in to the Maui Marriott Ocean Club. Served the purpose.
My husband and I stayed here with my one year old daughter. The location is central to everything and the unit is very well equipped with kitchen supplies and beach supplies. Laundry in unit and a pull out couch. Also, a shower and half bath tub, so good for little ones baths! We would stay again! The owner was very responsive to phone calls and texts. Thank you!

My wife and our 15 month old had a fantastic time. The condo had everything that we needed and the view from the Lanai was perfect. It is in the shade most of the day which makes it great to sit outside and get out of the sun for an hour or two in the afternoon. The place stayed cool with the AC on as well. As others have said, it could use some updating for sure, but everything worked well and we would stay here again!
We love the convenience of this property, centrally located to walk to a lot. Property is well maintained.

We had a great stay at Papakea yet again. This unit worked well for us. The lanai only gets a little morning sun so we could sit out and not get burned. The view over the pool area and out to sea were wonderful! You can't quite see the sunset from the unit, but it is a short walk out to the seawall for a wonderful view. The unit had everything you need, but things are starting to feel dated. It had a surprisingly comfortable hide-a-bed!
The ocean view from the lanai was fabulous -- exceeded expectations, and the grounds are lovely. Such a peaceful setting. Nice pool areas, cute mini golf course and wonderful lawn area that puts you right on the ocean for sunning, relaxation and sunset watching. Not really a beach to speak of directly in front, depending on tide, but walk 3 min to the left and you're on a beach. It was also a great location with convenient access to restaurants, beach areas, grocery stores, and a good base for road tripping to other parts of the island. Condo was well stocked with essentials plus extras, such as coolers, beach chairs, snorkeling fins, etc. I would definitely recommend to others.
Truly enjoyable location to stay with ocean views. The condo is comfortable and had amenities needed for our stay. The location is walkable to nice locations to eat and accessible to beach front associated with the property. The condo association fees were reasonable for what was offered. Lovely visit to Maui made even better with this location.
We loved our stay, it was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed, plus things for fun activities. The view is amazing and the pool here was heated, which was so nice!

Short getaway to Maui prior to longer stay in Kauai. Perfect condo for two. Ideal location to explore everything in West Maui.
The property and unit were exactly what we expected! The location is fabulous. There are a number of recreational activities to do while staying. The unit itself was exactly as described. We used the pullout couch as a bed and it worked great for our party of 4. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. I will definitely use this place again when we return to Hawaii!

Location, grounds, and view were wonderful! The unit itself was very much in need of updating and deep cleaning! Bedroom fan had a thick layer of dust on it, batteries needed replacing in air conditioner remote, tv remote and wall clock and air conditioner filter needed cleaning. Dead lei was hanging off dining room lamp and doors and cabinets very dingy/dirty. Couch appeared soiled and we immediately covered it with a sheet. A deep cleaning and upgrade definitely recommended! Having said that, we enjoyed the view and location very much!
