Proximity to the water is awesome. The sound of the waves hitting the sea wall is relaxing. The sunset and ocean views were stunning.

The resort is conveniently located. There is shopping and entertainment withing walking distance. The staff and guests were very friendly. I would gladly return someday!

Papakea has been our home away from home for years. The condo was clean and met our expectations.
This one bedroom apartment was a perfect home base for all the fun we had during our recent vacation in Maui. And having a beautiful patio to enjoy the morning birdsong and spectacular sunsets was a sheer delight! We want to go back and stay again as soon as we are able.
The view was the absolute best! Going to sleep every night to the sound of the ocean waves was pure bliss. Everything I needed was provided, such as kitchenware, even some nice spices, salt and pepper. There were plenty of bath towels and even 2 beach towels to use, along with beach chairs, an umbrella, a boogie board and a small cooler. The bed was comfy and so were the couch and chair. Julie was awesome in communicating with me and answering any questions I had. I enjoyed my two weeks at Papakea and felt rested and recharged. Mahalo!

Papakea is a very well manicured and a beautifully landscaped condominium complex - the pools are well maintained too. This unit is RIGHT on the ocean, the closest you can get. It is fairly described so I knew I was getting a murphy bed. It was comfortable though.
