Host had good communication. There were some minor issues that were quickly resolved.
This condo’s location was great. Beaches and stores nearby. The hosts communication was fast. Was easy to get in touch with and very friendly. But the condo itself was not what I expected. It was a little run down and some spots in the place were dirty. The curtains were a little dirty and the window sills were dirty. My husband had to scrub the dish rack for us to use. And I understand we are in a tropical area but roaches were in the condo. My husband luckily decided to unpack and found a dead roach in our son’s luggage. There were combat traps all over the condo and a previous visitor left a a bug catcher and so many on it. It didn’t help it was on the ground floor and attracted bugs. We have stayed in Hawaii many times and have not experience the roaches like this. Maybe just a thought if you are considering a ground floor unit
My granddaughter w/huband and daughter and her friend had a great week here in this condo at Maui Sunset. Only problem was mess in bottom of refrigerator and running out of toilet paper. There were three females staying there.

Enjoyed our stay, the pool and hot tub as well. Centrally located, so it was easy to find our way around.
Had a wonderful 7 days in Kihei - this place was great. Loved that you could walk the beautiful beach, the grounds were very well maintained, the pool was delightful and my husband was able to walk to the city park and play pickleball every morning.
Great updated condo at Maui Sunset. The double sofa and murphy bed made it really comfortable for myself, mom and 2 kids. Being on the ground floor is great. Made it so easy to get in and out, to the pool and the beach. Close to stores and restaurants. Had all the beach gear we could need, chairs, umbrella, cooler, even sunscreen. Would definetely stay here again.

Would be nice to have those little things, such as pepper, sugar...I bought a kettle for my tea because the ones provided weren't clean enough. It's expensive to buy all those little items for a few days so I suggest people pack some zip lock bags. Overall it was a super vacation and most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your condo Gary.
Unit was well equipped and the ground floor was great for the kids
When we walked in we were surprised by the size (2 baths), the Murphy bed for guests, well equipped kitchen, and comfy master bed. Close to great beaches, Maui Ocean Center and other activities. Nice strolling beach behind the condo and pool was great!
The owner communicated throughout and all things were as promised. We would highly recommend this place!
The location is amazing for allowing your kids to just run out the back door on the grass. The place could use a little love, but overall was good. Plenty of space with the Murphy bed, and pullout couch. Loved having laundry in the unit and 2 bathrooms! Smell of rotten shrimp/fish took over if you left the AC off for too long.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this condo in Kihei! Loved that it fit our family of 5 perfectly. It was nicely decorated. It would have been nice to have a tv in the bedroom though. Two separate bathrooms were a plus! We’d totally come back to A102 again.
Clean, modern condo on a great location. Beautifully kept grounds. There’s a putting green right outside the back door and it’s only a few more steps to the pool and beach. Easy and open parking. Air conditioners worked great and we were never hot. Everyone we met at the resort was very friendly. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend.
Overall this was a great condo. The linens and beds were great. The beach accessories were great. Kitchen items were good. My only suggestion would be to add another seating option or two. The chair that is provided is fairly uncomfortable and very squeaky and the only other option is for everyone to pile on the couch. It was not a deal breaker at all. Would just be a nice upgrade to consider. Otherwise great property.
We had a great stay at the condo with our three month old baby. It was really convenient being on the ground level with access right out the back door to the lanai and the coast. The condo was clean and comfortable, and the amenities within the condo complex were great for our family. Lots of good spots to eat within easy walking distance. We’d definitely return!
