Great place. Views from lanai were wonderful. We saw whales each morning while drinking coffee.

This condo was exactly as pictured! Our host sent clear communication and provided so many helpful amenities, from beach chairs, a cooler bag to kitchen appliances and garbage bags. The binoculars for whale watching from the patio were a really great surprise. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the entire unit was very clean. It was a perfect place to relax at the end of day of Maui adventures.

Beautiful beachfront/ocean views… very clean and well stocked unit… We were there to celebrate my husbands 60th B’day… This unit was the perfect location… close to restaurants, shopping, easy access to everything we needed.

We wanted someplace right on the water. This was the perfect spot. I spent a couple hours out on the lanai working every morning. We also liked the location in Kīhei and Joe was great at communicating.

The space was very clean. Parking was convenient. There were many restaurants around. The space had a really great view of the ocean and was just a 10 minute drive to most of the great spots in wailea.

Our family travels a lot and stays in a lot of vacation rentals. This one was probably a top 2 for me. First of all the view is phenomenal, cannot be topped. Steps from the beach, nice quiet pool. The remodel is top notch. Parking is easy and free, check in and check out was seamless. I was sad to leave. It was so nice to have all the beach gear, chairs, umbrellas, boogie board. I love that they even thought to have a drying rack for all your swim suits and towels. Love, love, love, 5 stars, would recommend.

The condo is newly renovated and absolutely beautiful! I would hire the decorator for my own home. The view of the sunset is amazing! Communication with the host was timely and detailed. Everything about our stay was enjoyable! Highly recommend!!

The condo was perfect for our family of 3. We enjoyed the space as well as being able to cook and enjoy coffee in the morning on the lanai. The location was perfect - beautiful views, close to all of the things in Kihei and right by a quiet beach. The property was very clean and quiet, and everyone was very nice. We enjoyed the pool everyday which was warm and a great place for relaxing in the afternoon. We will definitely be back and want to stay here again!

We had an amazing experience during our stay at this beautifully remodeled condo! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect getaway. With plenty of space, we comfortably accommodated our family of five, and our daughter loved sleeping on the cozy pull-out couch for the entire week.One of our favorite spots was the inviting balcony, where we gathered for meals and cherished breathtaking sunsets each evening. The serene view made it the perfect backdrop for losing ourselves in our favorite novels. The condo's location couldn’t be better—just a quick five-minute walk to the beach and conveniently close to downtown Kihei. Plus, the pool area was immaculate and offered tons of space to soak up the sunshine. This place truly felt like a home away from home! We will rebook it again!

6th floor great view of water. Nice beach and pool. Two bedrooms with plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Remodeled and looks great. AC works well. Close to everything. Parking was great. Would stay again.

The host was excellent and responded quickly to my questions. The condo is beautiful, very comfortable and well stocked. The one thing I loved about it, the guest bedroom had its own thermostat!! The only improvement I can think of is adding cushions for the patio furniture.

Came for a work trip but enjoyed the brief stay. Clean, comfortable and convenient location for our job in Kihei. Will come back and stay again and recommend to friends and family!

My family really enjoyed our stay. Location, amenities and the view of the condo are hard to beat. We appreciated seeing beautiful view without the sun beating down on the unit. Joe is very responsive and flexible. He provided a recommendation for a wonderful snorkeling tour.

The listing and pictures are accurate, so there were no surprises. The host is responsive and friendly. We appreciated having an updated space to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were bright and clean. The beach gear (chairs, umbrella, 1 boogie board, towels) came in handy. The property is well maintained. We absolutely loved staying here. The condo was lovely and had everything we need and beautiful beach views where we watched the sunrise and sunset every day. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The unit was well equipped with modern accessories, clean, and felt inviting. The pictures are exactly what you will walk into, and the views off the balcony are supremely relaxing. The unit is also equipped with beach accessories, such as an umbrellas, boogie board and snorkeling gear. I saw other reviews mentioned parking was an issue, this was the exact opposite of my experience as I was able to park next to the Anthurium building without issue.

The room was perfect in almost every way. Some did say that the beds could have been more comfortable although mine seemed to suit me well. The kitchen was accessorized very well. I'm guessing that the refrigerator was not designed to last long, but that's not Joe's fault. If we return to Maui with the family again, this unit will be our first choice. Thank you for providing such a beautiful room.

We were so happy with our stay. It’s not easy to meet my cleanliness standard but this place was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Well stocked with everything you could need. We were missing a travel crib when we arrived, I reached out to Joe and he had one delivered within a couple hours. Can’t wait to go back.

This was perfect for our family! The neighborhood was quiet, the amenities were fantastic. It was clean, and very comfortable. We loved the short walk to the beach. The host was quick to update information when needed. Will definitely stay again if its available on our next teip. Defin Definitely recommend.

The apartment was perfect for a girls trip! 15-20 minute drive to the main area with all the big box stores (Costco, Wal-Mart, Target) and a 15 minute drive to the shops at Grand Wailea for good luxury shopping and spas. We both had our own bedroom and bathroom which was convenient for getting ready to hit the town. Host was responsive and was able to let us check in a tad bit early so that was great. The apartment was clean and decorated very nicely, updated kitchen with all plates, glassware, silverware. Smart TV in living room worked great. AC worked great. Rooms had extra towels, and bedding. Providing the beach chairs, umbrella and tote cooler was a nice touch. The umbrella was a bit worn and jury-rigged to keep together, but worked okay. Fine for one day at the beach! Couple of notes: we wish there was a couple more pieces of information shared, like which building we were supposed to go to (there are two). Google maps actually sends you to the wrong building, so that had us walking around in circles a bit when we got there. Also the house rules ask you to take out the trash and recycling when you leave, but doesn't tell you where to go. Once we found it, the signs say to separate bottles & cans for recycling (wish we would have done ahead of time). Also if you are a light sleeper, there is a fan in the main bathroom that is unable to be turned off. Other than those very minor inconveniences, we had a very nice stay and would recommend others to stay there! Book it!

Beautifully well appointed condo! Fabulous snorkeling close by. Ferry terminal for trip to Lanai close by. Haleakala Crater sunrise an easy drive from condo. Food trucks short distance away which made eating in each evening a treat. So much fun!! Thanks, Joe.

This is one of my favorite vacation rentals, especially for its unbeatable ocean views from the living room and bedroom. The backyard is a paradise with beautiful trees, a sandy beach, and the sound of waves crashing—perfect for watching breathtaking sunsets. The location is excellent, just a short drive (2-3 minutes) to a variety of restaurants and supermarkets. The host is incredibly thoughtful, providing all kinds of useful amenities, even down to personal items like sanitary pads! This place truly feels like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!

The place is very comfortable,clean;it offers beach chairs and towels. Instructions are very clear. The turtles resting on the nearby beach was a nice bonus to this great apartment.

Perfect 2 bedroom condo overlooking the water in Kihei. The condo was super clean and comfortable for our family. They provided beach chairs and towels as well as a cooler. The condo was well stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable: kitchen supplies, towels, shampoo and soap etc. the location is central to make day trips to every part of the island. Do t hesitate to stay here. It’s perfect !

The location is good. Pretty central so you can get to most popular parts of the island within 25-40 minutes. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the section of Kihei that has all the restaurants and shops. You definitely need a car rental. There is no designated parking for the unit, so you will have to struggle to get parking every time you return. All the conveniently located parking is for tenants are near the elevator needed to go up to this rental. The rest are on the far end of the parking lot and you have to get lucky to get one every time you come back. So you will have to haul all your beach gear across a long parking lot everyday. The unit is probably only about 700 square feet. The living room is about 10 by 10 square feet, but looks much larger in photos. There is no dining table. The rooms are a comfortable size. The master bedroom has a VERY FIRM foam mattress. So make sure you like a firm bed. Also there is NO lock on the master bedroom door. The laundry it says it comes with is actually a shared coin operated laundry room down the hall with two very old washers and two dryers. You have to stay and wait until all your laundry is completed since it’s public. The building is from the 60’s I assume. It hasn’t been updated. So it was a surprise when we went in. The view is gorgeous, the pool is very clean. But there’s no shady area or umbrella covered tables to sit at by the pool. These are important things to know. But overall it’s a nice rental.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the Condo! The owner was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The condo is in the perfect location to explore the island as well as a short walk to the beach. The condo itself was beach modern, clean, had everything we needed, and had spectacular views of the ocean. We will definitely be staying here again!

First off, Joe was absolutely wonderful and very responsive when I had a question. A short walk to the beach. Beautiful, quiet, penthouse property with amazing views. The beds were actually comfortable unlike so many other properties. Incredibly well appointed. Lots of blankets, towels, beach gear, laundry supplies, first aid kit, etc. The property was very close to other beaches, tons of restaurants, stores, basically anything you could want. My mom, brother, and myself all loved it here and are looking forward to staying again!

Joe's property is very clean and beautifully decorated. The layout of the bedrooms are very nice too. We love the view of the ocean from the balcony and the beach is about 1 min walk from the property. Everything you need is provided and we have borrowed the beach chairs and towels for our snorkel outing. We also liked the location of the property, it is centrally located and if you want to stay not far from the airport and want to visit the Haleakala N.P, Paia, Makawao and the Kaanapali and Wailea area, this is the place you want to stay. Highly recommend this place.

We had several family members staying in the area of Kihei for my nephew's wedding. As it turned out we were all within a minute or two of the others but everyone said our condo was the nicest one of all. It had everything we needed and everything was brand new and clean. The only thing I would add, is it would have been nice to have Kleenex tissues somewhere in the condo. Thank you for a great day

We enjoyed this great property - it was so well equipped and located which made for a perfect place to enjoy the island. The owners were very responsive and had thought of everything. We hope to return in the future.

Let’s start with the unit itself. It is beautiful, freshly remodeled, and has all the amenities you could ask for. The view from the balcony is second to none but also has great privacy away from other units as well. The pool area was nicely set up with a kids pool, adult pool, and hot tub. Many of the folks we traveled couldn’t believe how nice it was. It is also in an ideal location! Less than 10 minutes from anything you could want, but far enough away that it isn’t over run or busy. The beach right outside the unit was perfect for our daughters to find all of the “treasure” they could get their hands on. Shells, sea glass, lava rock, coral, star fish, and other sea creatures were amongst the collection. A 10 minute walk down the beach we came across a sea turtle resting area where any evening we went we could find 10-20 turtles nesting/resting for the night. The sunsets were also second to none from the balcony! We sat on the balcony and whale watched with our morning coffee every day. It was great to have beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, cooler, and a few sand toys in the unit so we didn’t have to rent anything. The host was amazing to work with and answered any questions extremely quickly. You can tell Joe takes great pride in the unit and wants it to be a home away from home for people who stay there. We will 100% stay here again next time we visit! Like the title says, stop looking and book if you can. It will not disappoint!

We enjoyed our stay in this Kauhale Makai unit very much. In addition to it being super clean and recently renovated, I loved all the little touches (such as nightlights, a drying rack for swimsuits, and beach chairs) that the owner provided for guests. Joe was very responsive to any questions we had and offered to work with us on a flexible check out time, which we really appreciated!

This unit is amazing! Everything is new and updated and beautifully done. Beds were so comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our view from the top floor was. The beach was never busy and the water was calm. Recommendations: Rent a paddle board delivery for your stay. Get Poke at Tamura's Fine Wine and Liquors, Brunch at Nalu's and anything at OAO Sushi Go food truck. Bring Binoculars! You can see whales from the beach!

We recently stayed here for a week on our first trip to Maui. This is a fantastic location with easy access to just about anywhere on the island. The unit was recently remodeled and had everything we needed for our stay. we would gladly stay here again on a future trip.
