We had an unforgettable stay in this unit. Super clean and extremely close to the pool / gym area. We will definitely book again!
Stayed as part of a family trip to Kauai. Unit is convenient to the pool with a nice walk out seating area overlooking the lawn and pool area, it also somewhat private from the common areas due to excellent landscaping. Pool is great for kids, the lazy river, waterfall grotto and slides are amazing. Great beach for watching the sun-rise, the beach doesn't have a lifeguard. Lydgate beach is 5 min down the road and has two nice salt ponds for kids to swim in. The onsite fitness center is also very well appointed, the equipment is very nice. There is a Safeway across the street for groceries, and Ka'paa is a nice central location for both north shore and south shore excursions.
This property was accurately described. However, we learned that the pool isn't a true 'lazy river'. It does not go through all the way and there are no jets to push you along. But there are a few cute little waterfalls in it and a couple of slides also a few hot tubs which makes up for it. The room is in a great location on the property. They had everything you needed (towels, supplies for washing machine). They had plenty of towels as you can also get some from the pool area as well and exchange them for clean ones as needed. Loved having a fan in the bedroom as well even though the AC worked very well! And the bed... Was so incredibly comfortable!! The sheets and pillows were amazing!!! I would definitely stay here again!!!
Great bottom floor unit with privacy and quick access to the lobby and pool. House set up is very comfortable and is stocked with almost everything needed to enjoy the stay on Hawaii. Can’t wait to visit again Mahalo

Loved the interior and pool was amazing. Our two boys loved it. The room was great and had everything we needed, including clean extra bedding. Our only complaint was the dishwasher was broken and we had to hand wash our dishes the entire stay . Wish we could have received a small discount or so because we thought there was a dishwasher. Pretty important on vacation. Otherwise would have been a 5 star.
We loved it!!! What an amazing location, central to everything we wanted to do on the island and just a quick walk down to the beach with amazing views of the sunrise. It was so clean, quiet, and comfortable for our family. We loved the pool and parking was so convenient. We did some cooking several nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. Minor inconvenience that the dishwasher wasn’t working when we arrived but the owners responded quickly and tried to get someone in to fix it. Despite not having a dishwasher all week, we would happily stay here again! So many thoughtful touches like extra beach towels, it was just amazing!
Upon arrival AC did not work. Tried to call phone # provided. No answer. Had to email numerous times back and forth. One email told me that it had been inspected before we arrived, and it worked. That told me they did not believe us. The next day maint arrived and had to flush the waterline twice to unplug it and get it to work. Slept first night w/no A/C. Even though their directions in the arrival e-mail said to "Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns" and even though I asked them (through e-mail) numerous times to call me, I never once received a phone call. There were no directions left for basic things, such as where do we dispose of trash, how do you unlock the stove top (had to google it). The shower pocket door will not stay closed. The shower head was black with mold. Was told in one email that coffee/creamer/sugar was provided in a starter pack, then was told in another e-mail, they don't provide anything. Had 1 cereal bowl, emailed and asked for more and received them two days later, but I needed to send them a pic of the 1 bowl so they could bring me matching bowls. They brought 4 bowls, they didn't match anyway and a Brita Pitcher, which we never asked for (assuming they had it on their notes that it needed a pitcher but had neglected to bring it before we arrived.). I hope the owner of this unit realizes the customer service this real estate company provides is subpar. Did not enjoy dealing with this while on vacation.
Beautiful resort. Great central location
We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.
We had an absolutely AMAZING time staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and this unit was just about perfect for our family of four (kids ages 4 and 6). The kids had so much fun in the pool and on the water slides and we loved the fact that the unit was on the ground floor because we could easily step out the door every evening for sunset. The unit was well equipped with everything that we could have wanted and it was conveniently located pretty close to the front entrance so we didn't have a long way to haul our stuff every day. Waipouli Beach Resort is in the perfect location to go North or South to different beaches and activities on the Island and there is a Safeway and Shave Ice shop right across the street which was super handy for last minute food/treat items. The check in process was smooth and communication with the property manager was great. The only negative feedback that I have is that the pull out bed was uncomfortable. We would put the kids to bed in the by contrast very comfortable king bed in the bedroom and wouldn't want to move them so my husband and I took the pull out bed. If you need more than one bed perhaps consider looking for a two bedroom in this complex. Would I stay here again despite the uncomfortable pull out bed? Absolutely!
We LOVED the location. Safeway right across the street is SO convenient. They were very prepared for us and it was so helpful. The pack and play was there waiting for us and everything.
Although the beach isn't swimmable my kids still had a lot of fun. Loved running from the small waves and playing in the sand. They spent a lot of time collecting coral.
My kids also loved the pool! It would be nice if there was like a snack shack type menu that was more affordable, the on site restaurant was out of our budget.
We loved the location. Right in the middle to travel to all areas of the island easily.
We unfortunately had a trip to the ER during our stay and that was close too.
Nothing negative to say about the property. I love that it is on the ground floor. So easy to walk to and from the room/pool/beach. I felt comfortable with my kids going by themselves if we forgot something in the room. Beautiful condo. Will stay again.
