Location is great, just north of the more expensive resorts with several eateries & food trucks within walking distance or a short drive. Excellent snorkeling spots nearby. The condo was comfortable & clean. The A/C was nice, but not needed overnight with the breeze. The property is oceanfront with a retaining wall. The steps to the beach were fenced off, likely due to being worn & uneven. People would go around to get down to the beach or come through the beach park next door. The beach is best used during low tide as it dissappears as the tide rises. There's a break in the rocks to get to the calmer area between the 2 rows of rocks. The water was clear, about 4' near the back row of rocks. Overall we had an excellent time & would recommend Paki 109.

Very nice property kept up, very clean. The condo was nicely remodeled. Reason for 4 stars was the stairs. We thought the condo was first floor meanining no stairs but you had togo down 5 stairs then back up 2 sets of stairs. Carry luggage up & down was alot.

This is the second time we've stayed at Paki Maui. We chose it because it is relatively small, quiet and affordable. Positives: Close to the beach and a local park; has a small pool and hot tub; relatively quiet, can walk to good meals, groceries.Needs Improvement: The unit needs a really good cleaning and maintenance- the bedroom floor had grime and dust, the sofa seriously needs a good steam clean. There are many small repairs that would improve a stay:-the ceiling fan in the master bedroom makes a horrid sound and we couldn't use it, also it is very low and risky for tall folks-the oscillating fan in that room smells like the motor may be burning out - burnt rubber smell-the basket in the dishwasher is busted so the silverware falls through-several electrical outlets were dead-toilet seat was super loose and needs to be tightened down-multiple bar stool upholstery is torn/poor conditionThese things weren't deal breakers but if I were the unit owner, I would want to know. The place feels uncared for and somewhat dated. While we may try Paki Maui again, we will look for a unit that is better cared for.

The views are amazing with both ocean and foliage. We enjoyed the sounds of all the beautiful birds. We were disheartened to see that there was no access to the ocean as an earlier storm had compromised the integrity of the beach stairs. The public beach is right next to the condo building so it was a minor inconvenience to swim in the warm ocean. We have stayed at Paki Maui before and purposefully chose this condo building because of its direct access to the ocean. We wish that there had been a notice or communication to us that there would be no ocean access as we would have looked for an alternate condo to stay at. With that being said we enjoyed our stay at the condo.
