Booked the 5 sleeper because we have 2 big boys. Very clean suite and meticulously maintained grounds/pool. Blankets are awful. Little fuzzy ones with a sheet. Air conditioning is old and turns off after 4 hours max which is fine on regular days but not during extreme heat. Was told to come back for a pool key as it wasn’t ready for us and we went to get the second one and it was never given. The manager said we didn’t ask communication issues I suppose. The strict pool in and out policy proved to be a little challenging with a special needs child with only 1 key. Overall a nice place.

The property is in a great location and has a wonderful courtyard. Unit A212 or the management company isn’t as great. We had a broken pull out sofa and it took 3 days for someone to come fi which meant we slept on a bed that cut off at the knees. Extremely limited stock of anything in the unit; booked for 4 people and received three towels, no mop to clean the floors which gets sandy from the beach. Nothing to clean up spills, we were travelling with two children. When I called about getting additional towels the person was rude “I’m off island””!”. All ads say family friendly- except you’re met with a group of owners that do not really want the children around and make it known. There are plenty of rules once your onsite to deter children from doing almost anything fun.

Our suite was in Building A Oceanview with beautiful sunshine right on the ocean. The center court at Maui Sunset is spectacular. The grass is like a putting green. This suite had no carpet which I loved and it was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. We used the in suite washer & dryer & appreciated having pool towels as well as many towels. Laundry soap was not provided but we bought pods from the Safeway. We did have a problen getting the code in time as we missed office hours due to the email not arriving the day prior. In fact the email did not arrive until 9 pm the night of check in. I had to phone the booking agent abd have the code texted. I would suggest sending the code the day prior as day of travel there is no wifi while in flight. I recommend Maui Sunset. Turtke viewing just down the beach. We love Maui!

Great location and people. The management was excellent and the condo was perfect for what we needed as a family of 4. The grounds and BBQ stations were kept in immaculate condition. The pool area was perfect for our teenagers, who also enjoyed the tennis and shuffleboard courts.Security and all other staff we encountered were very friendly.Condo was clean and well kept, nice view, and the balcony was a nice size for a family of 4.Would recommend this location and condo complex. We will definitely be back.
Love the location and the condo was very nice. Only thing I would say that could improve our stay would be to replace the outside furniture with higher stools so you can enjoy the view rather then looking at the railing with the low seats.

Amazing resort, wonderful stay that added to overall experience. Unit was well stocked, clean and everything functioned. Grounds were clean/well groomed, beautiful plantings with daily maintenance. Pool/Hot tub also had daily maintenance and enjoyable. View of ocean and sunset was unbelievable and within literally steps of the resort! Reasonably close to amenities (could walk) and on a Main Street that would quickly get you to where you needed to go. Security in attendance gave added comfort. Would highly recommend.

We visited Maui during the month of Sep23 , The one bedroom condo was great , with ocean view , just walkable away from Beach great Sunset views . Room was neatly maintained , Comes with portable beach chairs and snorkeling gear . Had great time for 4 nights

1) Staff hours were limited. Wasn't able to get pool key fobs until next day!2) Staff was very unfriendly3) Air conditioning was unacceptable (window units on a timer and not sufficient to cool unit!)4) Dirty washcloth in shower when we arrived!5) Sofa bed mattress badly stained and with hair all over it!6) Refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed7) Internet and TV was not working! Very nice and peaceful. Happy to be back at our favorite Kihei Resort. A-212 exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of paper goods and toiletries! Weather was extremely windy with rain, but all in all a relaxing time.

No-key entry was hassle free, as we arrived on Sunday (office was closed), as well as it was easy to obtain temp key to the pool same day. Grounds/pool are immaculate, as these being cleaned on daily basis. Condo had all needed items for no-stress stay and even included 2 beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and snorkling gear. Walkable distance to food/shopping (15min), if no car.

Unit 212 was perfect for the two of us. It was clean upon arrival and our mid-stay cleaning was welcome. The kitchen was well appointed, but the stove kept beeping and one of the burners did not work. The service team came out one time to work on it, but it was never resolved. Other than that, everything was in good shape. We would return to this unit at Maui Sunset!

Our 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit was perfect for the 2 of us. It would have been nice to have a queen size bed but the double was comfortable. The unit was well equipped with overhead fans inside as well as on the lanai.We had a gorgeous view of the ocean from our 2nd story unit. The pool and BBQ areas were always in immaculate condition.Overall, we loved the location and the staff and booking process were very professional.We will definitely be back and would refer this property to family & friends.

Everything you need - we found the place to be clean - easy to get into and set up for our week long vacation. Wasn't the newest furniture but it was nice - and we did so many adventures just needed a clean play to get ready for the day and sleep at night. Outside grounds were beautiful and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning for my coffee and taking in the view. Pool area was very nice and hot tub relaxing. Great location with restaurant and shopping just down the road. Enjoy your stay and relax I would love to stay here again.

From the first interaction I knew this would be wonderful. Steve was responsive, friendly and informative. When we arrived after check in hours, we made our way to our unit and settled in with ease. Unit was very clean, with enough bedding and towels for our family of 5. Beds were comfortable, fans and air conditioning kept us cool, kitchen well stocked and view of the pool, ocean and grounds were better that I’d expected. They had a beach chair that we used daily, pale, snorkel, boards for our kids. The games cupboard by the pool with Tennis rackets, putters, shuffle board game and pickle ball was a highlight for evening bbq times. Would definitely recommend the Maui Sunset to friends and family.
